Yup once you see St. Luke's, S&R is across. You can see the tents of Mercato from there.

tnx sissies. I'm glad na di naman kami nahirapan nung Sat. Nakita agad namin, good thing lumiko na kami sa 9th ave. Sobrang enjoy kami even my cousins. Sa dami ng naandun na food eh, busog na kagad mga mata namin. at hirap mag decide what to eat first.  at buti nalang din maaga pa kami dun.. haha 9pm palang andun na kami at madami na rin nag-aantay. Siguro if exact 10 kami dumating malamang nahirapan na kami sa parking.

I'm craving for Mercato Centrale again!! Last weekend na nila until tomorrow then January na resume after the Holidays. Sayang coz di kami makaka-drop by tomorrow

Btw sa mga pupunta, I read sa Twitter & FB nila na may discounts or freebies in some (or most?) stalls kasi 1st year anniversary ng Mercato... so sulitin na! Haha!!

Mga sis, between banchetto forum and midnight mercato, san mas ok when in comes with food choices, location and ambiance? Went to banchetto forum  kanina lang super dami food! At super dami ng tao!

I ordered salad. Ok lang lasa, lengua ok lang din, chicken cordon bleu masarap, sorry i forgot name ng resto pero katabi sya medchef. I tried bluberry cheesecake din from cakes by k, yummy!
my husband ordered liempo kaso matabang daw!

Tom mercato naman kami. :-) we have tried distrito in makati kaso december lang sila.Mostly concessionaires ng distrito, nasa mercato at soderno din.

^^ok sa legaspi market sis, though ang priority namin mabili yun mga regular na konsumo sa 1 week hindi para sumubok ng mga food na bago na sumusulpot gaya ng diskarte sa mercato centrale.

went to salcedo market this morning for brunch, this has been my family's go to place for those lazy saturday morning cravings.. ie cebu lechon/lengua/callos/paella/sheperd's pie/pasta/bottled deli/dips..

legaspi kasi is more on dry goods, plants,organic stuffs, food stalls madami but not as much compared to salcedo's.

^tama ka sis legaspi pinaka paborito ko na weekend market kasi yun konsepto nya talagang parang wet market na organic nga lang mga gulay, mountain rice atbp root crops at mas laid back dito. Bihira ako makakita ng umpukan ng mga kabataan sa legaspi market

Ibang weekend market naman ang target mga mahilig sa food trip kaya iba't ibang eateries na pinag sama2x sa iisang bubong

^ sa mercato ata they changed din a bit of their concept. Pag Saturday e "organic" ang theme nila.. I dunno lang if ala-wet market style. Pero tama kayo, pang-foodtrip ang Mercato hindi talaga the "palengke" style hehe di pa ulit ako nakapunta since they opened this year.

Sa Legazpi/ Salcedo markets, never pa talaga ko nakarating

^ako din sis, never pa nakadating sa Salcedo and Legaszpi weekend markets. Mercato and Soderno pa lang napuntahan ko. but my friends and i are planning to have breakfast sa Salcedo end of Feb, after our overnight sa Somerset in Leviste - so walking distance lang ang Salcedo market. excited na ko!

@mikaela325: sis sa Market Market may Baguio stall.. meron nyang hinahanap mo yup open sila mall hours.. yung iba ata open earlier since nasa labas naman sila, dun sila sa may Food area outside, near the fountain.

Andaming pwedeng kainan sa Salcedo market, super enjoy kumain dun lalo na kung  sawa na ako sa foods on malls. Ang binabalikbalikan ko sa Salcedo market is yung Budbud Gourmet suman na mango flavor *drooling* . i want to go back on Salcedo once my fiance take a vacation here in Philippines. Ano pa ba ang marerecommend niyo sisses ang a must try sa Salcedo. TIA

^ i love Budbud's suman too! I tried it during one of the Xmas bazaars in Cuenca too bad after nun, di na naulit. Mango and ube binili namin (w/c I loved!!), & mom tried the cassava naman. Di naman kasi ako nakakapag-Salcedo Market so if I crave for flavored suman, I buy nalang from Tita Lynn's sa malls.
