my daughter (7) and i will go to hk next month with my friends..
do i need to secure travel clearance at dswd or a notarized parental consent from her biological father will sufice? we are not married but she is using his surname, so hindi kame magkaapelido sa travel docs.. but technically she is illegitimate..

^ sa pagkakaalam ko, when travelling with either parent, no need for clearance. Just bring your child's birth certificate. Ok lang kahit di kayo magka-apelyido kasi kung tutuusin, women are not required to change their passport name to married surname naman. Important is andun naman name mo sa birth certificate ng anak mo.

May nabasa ako sa isang website sabi PARENTAL TRAVEL PERMIT (iba pa to sa TRAVEL CLEARANCE)

Minors traveling with only one parent don't need TRAVEL CLEARANCE.

Ang kailangan daw PARENTAL TRAVEL PERMIT. But when I called DSWD Alabang hindi aware yung nakausap ko about it.

Ano ba talaga?

Ang situation kasi minor will travel to SG for 6 days with only the mother.

Hope someone can enlighten me about this. Thank you so much.

You dont need to provide anything sis just bring his/her birthcert and your marrige contract copy para if ever hanapan ka ng IOs dito sa atin may proof na ikaw talaga mom

Parental travel permit is different from the Travel Clearance issued by DSWD. If a child is traveling with only one parent one only needs a parental travel permit. It is simply a letter from the other parent allowing his/her child to travel with the other parent.

What I always encounter is a letter with an attached photocopy of the ID (with signature i.e. passport, driver's license, etc.) of the parent who will be left behind/issuing the letter.

^I don't know about that website but never pa akong naka-encounter ng parental travel permit issued by the DSWD. Travel clearance, yes. Even if you check DSWD's website walang mention of a parental travel permit.

^first time lamg din yun ng ate ko and kid niya. Last year June sila umalis.. They were granted 6mons stay ng IO..yung asawa niya nauna na duon a month before her. I dont know if that helped na hindi siya hinanapan?

I will just prepare consent letter + id + marriage certificate + birth certificate ni baby hahaha.  Dalhin na lahat photocopy at original pati passport ni hubby balak ko din sana isama hubby ko hanggang sa IO pwede ba yun hahaha kaso hindi din pwede kasi may work siya

Kapag yata hindi married pwede provide Cenomar? Parang may nabasa akong ganun kaka search ko.
