Requirements Needed for Traveling Minors (Accompanied and Unaccompanied)

My family was on the phone with a Delta office in Manila and tried to ask them about the Delta Sky Zone (under the UM program).  They told my family that for the 4 hour lay over a ground staff and the UM will wait in a corner in front of the gate. I hope Delta's website is more accurate than the Delta office in the PH.

My daughter arrived over a week ago safely, her flights was delayed a bit due to weather in Atlanta.  A Delta agent was with her throughout her flight and she said it was fun.  She made a friend during her stop in Narita.  

sisses, I know the thread title says children travelling without parents but maybe you can still answer my query:
what if the child will be accompanied by the father? will they still be needing clearance if one parent is present? if not, what are the necessary docs they should bring? tia!

Hi. Sure kaya na a toddler travelling with her dad only hindi na kelangan ng clearance? When i asked cebupac kelangan daw eh, o baka wala lang alam yung customer rep na nakausap ko? He even gave me the number of the chinese embassy tumawag daw ako dun, baka daw kase hanapan sila sa Hk ng clearance.

Hi can anyone help me. We are going to macau this weekend with my niece and nephew along with their grandparents but no parent is coming with us. We were able to secure travel clearance to macau but we are also going to hk via ferry. Need pba mstate sa clearance un pgpnta ng hk? Coz a family friend told us na hindi na need un travel clearance when entering hk. Sa immigration ln sa pi need. Thanks!

hello, can you help me, re: we will be going out of the country (me, my husband, my son and my mother) no nee for travel clearance since ill be going out with my son, but when coming back to the phils is my question, only my mother(lola) and son will go home first.. do i still need to secure travel clearance even coming back to the phils? tia

sa mga nakakuha  na po ng travel clearance .ask ko lang po kung kukunin ng DSWD yung NSO birth certificate o titignan lang at ibabalik ulit.. Iniisip ko kasi kung 2 birth certificate request ko from NSO kasi need din po NSO birth certificate pagkuha ng passport. salamat po

I don't know if there's already a topic about this wala kasi ako nakita. Anyway, I just want to ask kung sino sa inyo nakapag accompany na sa isang minor na hindi niyo immediate family?

My cousin's son is going to singapore to visit his cousins and his grandmother (my tita) for his summer vacation. Eh since I'm going to singapore this April 2014 they are asking me na isabay na lang yun nephew ko. By the way, he is 12 and he's tall and big boned. Eh his mom can't go with him kasi wala mag babantay dun sa little brother niya at dun sa bahay nila. He's dad naman is not around. So they asked me to be his guardian.

The problem is my nephew and I don't have similar surnames or middle name since ang magkapatid is yung mom ko and yun lola nung bata. I just want to ask if there are documents I need to present sa immigration para di mapagkamalan na child trafficking ang gagawin ko. Do we need to ask a permission from DSWD and present a letter that I am allowed to accompany my nephew?

Hope someone can answer my questions. Naaawa lang ako sa bata kasi graduation gift sa kanya yun ng pinsan ko and grandmom niya.

^ hi sis. Yes, kelangan ng dswd permit to travel. Nakasulat dun ang destination, kung sino kasama ng bata (or kung travelling alone ba) at kung ano purpose ng travel. Makikita naman ang pangalan mo (put the name na match sa passport mo). I think sa dswd yung kelangan magsubmit ng proof, kung ano man ang kelangan, I'm not too sure. Yung parents dapat ang mag-apply for the permit to travel.

I travelled with a nephew na before, permit to travel lang pinakita ko sa IO, 7y/o sya nun. Pero me backup ako copies ng birth certificates namin. And i have the contact numbers of both parents, just in case gusto tawagan ng IO to confirm. Pero di naman hinanap ng IO dito, yung dswd permit lang hinanap. As for abroad na IO, wala naman any questions or permit na hinanap. Me nephew also travelled alone at 12y/o, kinuha din ng parents nya ng permit to travel sa dswd (naka-indicate na alone sya) then endorsed to airline staff para me mag-assist sa kanya, from check in to immigration to boarding, etc hanggang sa me magsundo sa kanya sa destination.
