hi sis! went to the Japanes store (Daiso ata yun) in Rob. Magnolia. pero more on fabric tape yung meron sila dun. wala sila washi tapes.

thanks sa info mga sis!  nakita ko rin yung paper chic studio sa FB. madami na rin yung design ng washi tapes in both shops. wala lang price dun sa party starters.

i've also found some other online sellers ng washi tapes (heykessy, bee happy and hobby depot). i'm still trying to check out their designs and their prices. i noticed kasi that some of them, kahit parehas yung design, mas mura pa rin dun sa isang seller.

im in california now, may daiso na rin dito. aside from fabric tapes, may washi din sila. (pero konting designs lang.) so baka timing-timing din lang dyan sa manila.

^ sige sis, balitaan kita about the prices. not sure though if these online shops can ship to the US. parehas pala tayo, nakaka-addict yung washi tape. kahit na pang side decor lang ng books ng anak ko, andami ko inorder. ayan tuloy, pati cellphone case and yung corkboard namin sa bahay, nilalagyan ko na rin ng washi tape pang decorate.

^ naku sis! baka sandamakmak na rolls ng washi tape ang need pag gagawa ako ng dress.. i'm on the chubby side kasi! hahaha!    so far, i was able to scout for 4 online shops that are selling washi tape. one of which (Bee Happy - you can find them sa FB) is having a sale right now till May 20, pero hindi lahat ng designs nila naka-sale. hindi ko lang din sure if may xmas designs na on-sale. hopefully, mag sale sila ng xmas designs by the come you're here for the holidays. hope this helps.

btw, yung nabili ko sa daiso, not made of paper. parang ordinary tape ang material.



CmomS, they are decorative tapes used for crafting. para syang masking tape pero may cute prints kaya magandang gamiti sa kung [textspeak!]-ano.

^ sis twelve, may nabili naman ako sa national bookstore, parang washi din sya, pero mas glossy ang material - parang scotch tape naman, pero may cute designs. mas mura sya kesa sa washi (around 65 pesos/roll ata). pero mas gusto pa rin yung designs sa washi tape.

ang dati ko pang hinahanap is yung parang plastic cover pero yung frosted.. mga ginagamit to cover books/pocketbooks.

slickchick, baka parang ganyan yung nabili ko sa daiso dito. parang scotch tape na malipis yung material nun. yesterday ko lang kasi in-open, ayun, di nga paper... pero ok na rin... kasi washi tapes dito $3.50 to $5 eh.
