sa mom ko feb 5 2011 60th bday nya.. kaso sa feb 19 namin icecelebrate para 2 in 1 kase 1st bday ng apo nya (march 1).. para 2 in 1 na rin gastos.. hehe plan namin kuha malaking venue kase around 200-250 kids+adults..parang reunion na din.. un lang hati ang program..pangbata at pangoldies ang half.. sana magtagumpay..hehe

pero pano po macontact ang moon garden? plan ko din kase icelebrate ang mismong bday nya pero overnyt accomodation with massage sana somwhere sa tagaytay..baka kase magtampo pag wala man lang kaming preparation..

hindi naman siguro kailangan ng malaking program sa 80th celebration ni MIL, just a simple get-together from close relatives and friends ok na. kanya-kanyang dala ng food lahat ng mga anak at pamangkin. huwag na kayong magbigay ng something in kind..siguro pera na lang para sa health needs niya. tapos yung mga apo mag-prepare ng dance number or kanta. i think your MIL will be very happy na

Do I have to be a member of The Manila Polo Club or Makati Sports Club to hold an event there? Any suggestions on venues in Makati? My mom's 60th will be on December. I still do not know where to hold her party. Help me, sisses!!!

My mom celebrated her 60th birthday. My siblings and I planned and prepared for it, along with my cousin who lives in Germany. She went home pa for the occasion

We rented a resort in Antipolo, very near kase for us. All of us had our share and my mama was very happy especially nung candle-blowing na. Mejo bittersweet lang cus my brother who lives in Bahrain wasnt able to come home. Kahit umulan, super happy pa din. It was a chance for us to give thanks to our mom and to spend time with each other

wow nice thread. mom's turning 60 this year too! few years back it was my dad who celebrated his 60th. we just invited relatives from both sides then eat sa chinese restaurant. simple dinner but unexpected ni dad. then my mom told us, when she reached 60, ayaw niya ng ganon. sabi niya bongga daw kasi masyado simple lang like niya. sabi ko naman anong bongga dun dinner nga lang yun wala pang mini program. so this year, baka we'll treat her to an out of the country vacation nalang. since it will be her first time to go out of the country. kakakuha lang din niya ng passport recently.

sis naughtybrat, first off, i think you need to set your budget. or no issue naman ang budget? from there kasi, mas mattrim down mo yung choices mo. then siguro ano type ba gusto mo, buffet style, lauriat etc. try to have an idea on how you would like the party to turn out, para mas mabilis makahanap ng suppliers/location.

sis nageinna, i have no idea how much this type of things cost kasi so di ko alam magkano dapat e. hati kami ng brother ko siguro sa gastos. Im thinking of celebrating it at a hotel somewhere in Ortigas or Makati or in Club Filipino na lang. ang hirap papa. may alam ba kayo events organiser?

^ i mean sis, set your budget, like kunwari, for your mom's bday, 50k budget lang kaya niyong ishell out. kasi from there ma dedetermine mo kung ano yung mga suppliers na kaya mong ibook. then ma ccross out mo na yung iba na lalagpas sa budget niyo.

when we planned a surprised party for my mom.. well, it was just a fun party.. we did it in jolibee... and i asked everyone to come early and one of her office mates to bring her around the mall and bring her to the venue at an appointed time..

sis naughtybrat, check out the packages in restos and hotels so you can check if kaya ng budget.. or nearest clubhouse plus caterer...

Thanks sissies for the suggestions, i am now on the process of asking venues for quotations. We're not used to celebrate our birthdays in big parties kasi but this time, my brother and i think na okay lang, surprise na lang natin si madir.
We'll ask her siblings, classmates, scholars, close friends etc to make a presentation or share something. My brother and my dad naman serenade na lang siya. Tapos ano pa ba dapat? gusto ko sana may aerial dancers. haha birthday ko ba to? ano bang magandang theme?
