^^ sis messed up - haha! natawa ako sa strongest link. wala pa naman akong na experience na mga something ghostly sa bahay or even dito sa dorm. pero sa 2nd floor dito sa building ako pa lang ang nag stay wala pang ibang occupant sa ibang rooms dito, karaniwan nasa 1st floor tsaka 3rd foor sila.  in other words, ako lang mag isa sa whole 2nd floor.

Well, the pope didn't name himself Benedict for no reason and there's a deeper reason why John Paul II became blessed quite so soon.

I got intrigued by this, well anyway, some answered it already. What came to mind is the thought that picking the name Benedict or picking of names by the popes or even of popes in general has something to do with the prophecy of St. Malachy (and yes, the end for that matter).

yung place daw sa batangas na pinanggalingan nila e marami daw aswang somewhere in nasugbu.. i dunno how true and accurate.(no offense sa mga taga nasugbu, nakwento lang)

If that is in Lian near Nasugbu, kasabihan nga marami daw aswang dun so even dwellers from nearby places in Batangas such as Balayan, Lemery and Nasugbu would not even spend a night there and always bring their own water/food. Anyway, baka rin naman may medical condition or ailment? Like uterine cancer patients, I've observed, emanates a certain fishy smell din.

I love this thread... I want to share stories too.

I have a lot of ghost storries back in our province.

Eto nalang yung una kong kwento.

Sa sobrang tagal nangyari, I don't know If It was just a dream or what. Pero lahat ng tao sa house namin experienced the same thing. So I guess this is true. And bata pa kasi ako that time. hehe

We live in an old spanish house. Back then when I was just 5 years old I think, hindi pa talaga inayos yung house namin. It was the same old house my grandparents built. Malaking bahay with lots of trees sa labas. Then  yung gate namin is made of bamboo lang. See the picture.

Bata pa ako madami na akong nakikita. Pero hindi sila ghosts. We call them "TAMAWO". Parang engkanto or something. In fairness naman e mababait naman sila. Minsan sa gabi nagigising ako in the middle of the night and may nakikita akong tao sa paanan ng bed. Minsan 2 pa nga sila. nakaupo lang naman. yung hitsura nila is parang si casper. hehe... Hinahayaan ko lang naman and nawawala din.

minsan naman, si Mama (not my biological mom) nagsaing. Tapos nawala. As in pati kaldero. hehe.

katakot ang story mo sis. pero old spanish houses are beautiful.

many strange things in our house, nasanay na kami pero there were stuff that i couldn't forget

~happened last year, cr ako around 2 am. nasa baba yung cr namin. i didn't close the door. cr is near the kitchen. i thought i saw someone pass by. i called, kala ko bro ko or sis. di sumagot. sinilip ko. i saw a guy standing by our sink, nakatalikod, parang naghuhugas. he was wearing gray trousers. as if sensing that i was looking at him, he turned his face towards me. i couldn't see his face clearly, the only light that was on was from the cr. parang shadowed yung face nya. but i could tell he was on his late 30s. parang usok, he disappeared. i couldn't remember how i got back to my room. i could remember not being able to sleep afterwards.

~my late aunt (father's side) was very gifted. mga year 1999, she visited us. she would always instruct us to close the windows of a certain part of our house, kasi it faces the main road of elementals. she said that that was the reason why we often feel as if may laging nakatingin or nakasilip sa bandang dun. one night, i went home around 9pm. nagmano ako sa kanya. she was in the kitchen. my back was towards the kitchen door. while we were talking, she kept looking behind my back. i asked her why. she said she saw a man wearing black clothing walking behind me as i entered our gate. the man couldn't enter our house though. she was looking behind my back because the man was just outside the kitchen door, looking at me. she said the man didn't mean any harm. he was an elemental living in the kingdom within our compound. nagbabantay daw sa akin lagi, nakasunod wherever i go. our place kasi used to have many trees, there was a stream (we looked around and saw evidences to prove it indeed existed before). it also used to be a killing ground during war. our house stood on blood ground. there are souls and elementals. we cleanse the house often, but still, there are times na heavy talaga yung feeling. my mom, whose third eye is also open, sees a lot of things but keeps mum about them. she would just say she saw something and not elaborate. when my son was around 5 or 6, he used to say he saw something that resembled a small dragon, looking at him & yaya from the outside. he was very scared of it of course. dati rin, he would say that my late dad came by and played with our dogs. he would ask 'diba patay na si lolo? how come he still comes here?' parang di naman sya takot  ;D

~it was just me, my son & yaya left in the house. early 2005. we were watching a noontime show when suddenly, we heard mga kalabog upstairs, like someone was moving some chairs, opening cabinets and drawers. siempre tulakan kung sinong aakyat. impossible namang hangin, very distinct yung sounds of movement as if made by someone. i spoke out loud 'dad naman, diba you promised walang takutan? what are you looking for?' ayun natigil. my dad died late 2004.

~early 2005 din, the first day of a new job. i dreamt that my dad came by, sat at the edge of my bed, grabbing my foot as if to wake me up. i could still remember what he said: 9eisha, wake up, it's 535am ma le-late ka talaga nyan sige ka! gising na! ayun nagising ako, and true enough, it was 535am. when i'm sad or troubled, i also dream of him. usually theme ng dreams are either we were talking in some park or naglalayag kami in some boat, colored dreams. i miss my dad  :(

sis 9eisha, sorry for your loss. But I really felt the love you had for your dad. :) Natouch ako sa kento mo actually, dad grabbing your foot to wake you up. Kahit nasa ibang mundo na sya, he wants to wake you up talaga. :) And yung dream mo na you're talking and colored dreams, nakakatouch kase kahit wala sya para ka na rin nacocomfort pag sad ka...Parang andyan pa rin sya palagi. :)

when he was alive, matatakutin si dad sa mumu. we used to talk na if whoever dies first, promise na magparamdam naman kahit minsan, wag nga lang yung takutan. when my dad was about to breathe his last, i whispered to him to keep his promise. pati na rin yung tatakpan na yung coffin nya. ayun, tinotoo  ;D

~when i used to live in manila around 2006, a friend and i went house haunting. i'm not very sure but it was somewhere in taft or recto, all i remember was there was metrobank and sm hypermart nearby. anyway, we saw an ad for a room na 2.5k lang, including na utilities. it was a big room for 2.5, i mean hello, san ka ba makakita ng ganung room in manila. curious, we decided to check it out.

it was a big house, which had 7 rooms ata yun. it used to be an antique gallery. the owner was already living abroad. may mga natitira pa ngang antiques. the house had a big tree sa labas, so shaded sya. sa may gate palang parang ayaw ko ng pumasok kasi bumigat yung batok ko. i am wary of antiques---coz they attract spirits. nauna pumasok yung friend ko with the caretaker. mejo nagpaiwan ako, i was looking around. there were antique jars, masks, tables, etc. i was drawn to this dresser, i don't know why, when i touched it, para akong nakuryente. there was this big full length mirror with fancy looking engravings on the side, which curiously looked like runes. both fascinating, but kinda spooked me.

the caretaker showed us that room we were interested in. may mga gamit na naiwan. he told us that there were 3 guys renting the room, who were suppose to take SOLAS . one night daw, nag inuman sila then bigla nalang nagtakbuhan. he thought they were just having some fun, but they never came back for their belongings. nagtaka din ako nun. out of the corner of my eye, i saw a girl, about 4 or 5. she was standing dun sa pinto ng spare room ata yun, looking at us. linapitan ko. i asked her where her mother is, does she live here, etc. parang may hinahawakan sya na tinatago sa likod nya. ano yang nasa likod mo? she just smiled. tinawag ako ng friend ko. he asked kung sino kausap ko. that kid, i said. what kid? tanong nya. i pointed to the spot where the kid was, she was gone. the caretaker, overheard us, asked kung ano itsura ng kid. at this point, nagtayuan balahibo ko, ewan ko kung bakit. i said about 5, naka pony tail, palda, etc. di umimik si caretaker. naglakad lang palabas. sumunod din kami, taka pareho. i asked who the kid was. he said anak daw yun ng may-ari, nasagasaan many years ago, halos maputol yung isang kamay, durog mga buto.

kaya pala mura upa  :P

Hi, mga sis.

Mirrors kasi trap energy or chi and if one is really versed in the arts ay you can actually use it to view "recordings."  This is why sa FS thread you may have noted na this isn't advisable in one's room.  In the case where the little child was seen pero matagal na palang patay the mirror or others like it serves as their "door" or "home" in this world.

As for yun sumakit yun batok ay that's your automatic warning that a strong yin chi presence is in the area.  Yun naman mga antiques attracting or harboring the dead or undead ay due to the chi of the people sticking to it - as most antiques naman ay wood o metal.  More so kung may mirror pa incorporated to it.
