Mga sis, alam nyo ba kung saan makakabili nung Kokuyo Campus notebooks? Yung galing talaga ng Japan. Last time ko bumili nun i think 2007 pa ata. May manipis sila na spring bound plaid pink or blue yung front. yung isa naman nila red/blue na makapal na softbound.

I saw one from NBS North Edsa last week, the paper has gone cheap  andun pa din yung design nung papel, pero ampanget naman nung quality, mukhang kahet Panda ballpen lang gamitin ko babakat na sa kabila. i miss the smooth, high quality paper of campus.

Am planning to buy my first Lamy Safari but wanted to ask: is it cheaper to buy online or at National Bookstore? My first fountain pen from Muji died. :/

I read about this on the fountain pen network. They said it's going to be green. Not confirmed though.

I own few types of office supplies but I choose them carefully.

I like the pilot fine tip ballpens and yung zebra na black ballpen.

My recent and only notebook is the one I got from Seattle's Best (from their sticker promo). I like that it's refillable kasi generic yung slots ng rings and the cover is (probably) faux leather, but is presentable enough to be used to take notes during a client meeting.

I got the dip-nib + holder + small calligraphy ink bottle box @ Scribe. The holder is nice and heavy (I didn't go for the feather/quill thing because I was afraid that with my weak grip, the pen will be twirling constantly ) -- can be a bit slippery if your hands tend to sweat... The nib doesn't flex that much and doesn't hold a lot of ink. Made a spiral wire reservoir and now it works fine.

Also got a Clear Ahab (thanks caffeineinfused !!) -- flexes better, perfect for practice, and I like the way it sorta goes with the mini Muji binder/flat puncher.

Anybody here going to the FPN Phils pen meet?

^ i saw the new LAMY at fpgeeks.com (it is green, like kermit), but they had to take it down. let's just wait for it. =)
i've been to fpn-p pen meets -- great bunch of people! i think it's cool even if you dont have a fountain pen. they could even help you decide what to get eventually.
i was able to meet Clem there.

Balita ko nga masaya.
hehe, Ako rin dyahe pumunta, I only have one fountain pen and two bottles of ink to my name (the rest are -- I don't even know what they're called, calligraphy pens with little disposable ink cartridges) and I'm mainly interested in dip-nibs na flex, pero I'll try to get there. Might get to see a vintage flex in person! waw.

befriend the LAMY salesperson in NBS. they can text you when its available. i can drop by NBS once in awhile. will update you when i see it. =)
