I'm curious about the boxed set and the orange pen. Please tell us what brands they are.

But I'm happy for you. FP use is such an enjoyable experience that only a few know. I'm glad we are among the few.

Ang ganda kasi nung Pelikan talaga. Siya na next lemming ko kasi ok na ko sa Lamy unless maglabas ulit sila ng LE na color pero for now wala pa daw eh at mukhang sa ibang country lang meron. So binaling ko attention ko sa available na dito haha Hay... konting control nalang. If not, I will get that pen for myself. Ihahabol ko sa final exams lol Ang lakas kasi mag-sales talk ni Ms. Cindy about the gold ek ek daw. Yun din daw sabi sa kanya nung mga taga-FPN na pag may gold eh maganda daw ang sulat talaga lol

Natawa pala kanina si Ms. Cindy sa akin kasi I mentioned to her I used my 1670 Anniversary Ink as my highlighter sa notes. Underline lang naman ginagawa ko and square, circles, etc... Sabi niya sayang daw lol When I looked for a similar ink sa J. Herbin and Pelikan, mas maganda pa rin yung Anniversary Ink na yun. May gold flecks kasi eh. Dun bumenta sa akin so I might get a backup nalang.

Oo e, the money spent for all of that as in kasama yung 2 quinks is not enough to buy even a single Lamy. Yung iba jan, cheaper pa than that of Saizen's. Kaya yan na muna, saka na yung sa Times Trading for the Lamy. Sa Pasko na siguro

Ok naman ang mga nibs for the price. I remember what an antique dealer told me, more than the history, iba na rin daw kasi ang quality ng gawa noon sa ngayon. Naisip ko nga yung old notebooks, di naman high-end yung notebooks na ganun noon but the quality is good enough for fountain pens.
Heatherette, go ka lang sa back-up for the Anniv Ink. Limited edition kasi yan so tumataas ang value as time goes by because more likely iilan lang kayong meron.

Yes Youth and Hero nga, I have reviewed your blog e before I went (but I forgot what Youth model are in nos. 9 & 10). Anyway, thanks talaga because the road has been slippery, if you haven't done the convincing hay naku . . . and it wasn't so bad. The people I've encountered in Recto have been more than helpful (especially the grandmas, I feel like a spoiled brat). I guess, people seems nicer than we actually think they are.
About the boxed set, it consists of 1 rollerball point pen (black ink) and fountain pen. No one knows the brand (maybe you'll know? I'll post a better pic), but the nib has "Iridium Point Germany" engraved in it so needless to say, for a girl lost in a candy store I took it without any second thoughts and even forgetting to test the roller ball point pen.
The orange one is the Wilson Futura Set. It comes with 4 cartridges *edit: 5 pala, because meron mismo inside the pen pa* (blue ink) and 1 converter. I bought one lang because the packaging that it comes with is hideous --- old, dusty, dirty, yellowed, stained. It was only when I arrived at home and removed it from its prison that I realized maganda pala. As I've said, the body is made of plastic but better than that of Inoxcrom, it is heavier and matte, very retro. I've just tested it kanina, not intentionally, I was tempted to inject the cartridge e (yihee, it was my first time kanina). Ang ganda pala, I am liking it better than my Parker (Jotter din yata).
Now, I have a problem, how does inking the Hero and Youth works?

pomegranate, my messages need to be approved by an admin pa kaya it takes time to appear.

The Hero pens are aerometrics. Meaning, you unscrew the barrel from the section, dip the nib in ink, and squeeze the converter around 4x to get ink inside the pen. Hope this helps.

I was overwhelmed kasi I did not bother with the technicalities when I grabbed them. It was only when my delight in seeing them side by side reached its plateau was I able to realize they were meant to write din pala haha. Anyway, I'll try it sometime, for now, virgins muna sila.
