Conanan is in Recto din. You have to walk further pa. You should have gone to Corona, mas malapit sa Merriam yun. They have Hero, Youth, and NOS Lamy when we went there. Conanan has a Parker 25 selling for P600 when we were there last year. Dami pa Parker inks (Quinks)! I got my red Quink from there. Try going further after Corona. I don't remember na how far, but we walked lang when we went there, so it's not very far.

Sis pomegranate, try mo muna sis yung Lamy sa Scribe. I'm not sure lang kung nagpapa-try sa NBS. Ganun ginawa ko to see kung magugustuhan ko ba siya sumulat at yung feel mismo.

Sis Faith, go na! Nice siya pero so far kasi ang Lamy lang ang pinakamahal ko pang fountain pen pero ok naman ako sa sulat niya.

Ganda ng Pelikan Duo (yellow with highlighter ink) di ba? I'm getting that na.

The pink and orange Lamy Safari pens are limited editions. They're both from Malaysia.

I think NBS don't allow buyers to try their pens. But you can still write several strokes with a pen, and look at the ink-less line you produced. You'd still have a feel of how thick a line it lays.

To those who want to try beginner pens that are durable yet inexpensive, try the Schneider Base fountain pens offered at Office Warehouse outlets. They are available in white and black (sometimes gray), for P600, and they're excellent writers! I got 5 of them already!

I came from Morayta so I was able to go to Merriam, but among the hustle and bustle, I looked on direction towards NBS Recto and felt like it's still a mile (exagge -_-) I chickened out. Hay, batang Recto naman ako dati, bakit nag-iinarte

. . . I'll try again next time, at least now alam ko na weee.
P.S. Talagang nakiki-"Clem" ako, nakiki-close ha ha . . . must be the fountain pen connection. Thanks again

pomegranate, go back sa Recto. Enjoy dun! Try mo din ang Binondo with Times Trading and Cosmos Bazaar, I'm sure you won't regret it. Tapos you can eat the ube siopao pa somewhere near.

I have no problem if you call me Clem. Ok lang yun. We're in a sisterhood bound by our love for office/school supplies, paper, pen, and inks! Wahoo!

Ang problema sa dumadaming fountain pens? Paghahanap ng FP ink friendly na paper and notebooks!

In fairness, they don't have to pe expensive. Green Apple Cattleya and Kokuyo Campus notes love my FPs. I found a notebook sa NBS made in China brand name yata 520 vogue letter paper. basta nakalagay exclusively distributed by st. patrick commercial inc. FP friendly, cream colored paper hindi nakalagay kung ilang gsm pero thicker than your usual notebook. I love it! Pati asawa ko binilhan ko.

Hehe... I'm getting my first fountain pen this weekend. I'm not sure what to get yet, pero hindi muna ko siguro kukuha ng Lamy kahit na nakaka-tempt. Gusto ko munang masanay magsulat with a fountain pen.

^ yung hindi disposable kasi ang mahal. Nasa 15-20. Yung disposable, 3. Siguro sa Pinas na lang ako bili no? Para mas mura. Yung sa Saizen na Php85, di naman siya disposable 'di ba? Gusto ko din kasi matuto gumamit ng ink talaga.

Nakakita na rin ako ng refills niya! lol 3 ata yun for P85 din. Medyo mahal ha compared sa Parker na nasa P100 ata for 5 cartridges. Turukan nalang ng ink.
