actually girl, there are two cases:

1. the girl is ugly (sorry for being straightforward). ugly by all means - physically, character-wise. antisocial. etc.

or

2. too beautiful. too smart. perfect.

the first case, well, the reason is pretty clear. the second case, it's very intimidating to approach such kind of girls.

yes sis. lalo na yung mga matatalino na magaganda pa. parang nung high school. may girl na sobrang talino tapos maganda pa siya. ang daming may crush pero nobody ever courted her.

It doesnt necessarily mean that you are not pretty because you dont have suitors. Its either the guy is too shy to approach you or ikaw yung nagpapakita ng motives that drives them away.

I have a friend and a cousin na both physically attractive, pero hindi ligawin. What I observed na similar sa kanilang dalawa is their personality. In-observe ko how they talk or flirt with the opposite sex and also the response they get from the boys. Here's what I observed: 1)they appear to be too much work (high maintenance) 2)they have a tendency to be clingy 3)it's so obvious that they wanna be in a relationship. So there, kahit pretty sila, guys don't pursue them cos they get turned off by their personality.

That's why, I don't think na pagiging pangit (physically) ang major na dahilan bakit walang suitor ang isang girl.

'Yung best friend ko, hindi masyado kagandahan tapos saksakan pa ng choosy at suplada, never tuloy naligawan. Tuwing magkakaboyfriend ako she would tell me sana daw magka-boyfriend na rin siya, I tell her she should be more friendly and malandi to guys, pero how do I tell her mag-ayos naman kahit konti without offending her?

Hindi naman kasuka-suka face niya pero sa attitude niyang suplada at choosy, walang pumapansin sa kanya.  Feeling ko kasi masakit kung sakin manggagaling na umakto ayon sa ganda, e sensitive pa naman 'yun. Desperate na kaming dalawa maligawan siya e lols.

^natawa ko sa post mo sis.. ako naman iyong best friend ko mag 30 wala pa din BF di naman siya kagandahan pero maayos naman siya, yun nga lang may konting defect sa physical appearance niya pero super bait naman at maalaga. nagka BF naman na siya before kaso ngayon mukhang wala ng matinong nanliligaw sa kanya kundi walang trabaho may asawa na. sabi ko nga ilang taon na lang piso tumpok na siya. i have a friend na pretty naman. mechanical engineer sya sa isang manufacturing company na walang guys na single na ka-level nya (at least sa profession and age man lang) tas bahay-office lang tlg sya. naisip ko lang,maybe her lifestyle ang reason bakit walang nanliligaw. how can she meet the guy kung ganun?
