due date ko is Mar 21 based on lmp.  im planning to have a congenital anomaly scan this weekend sa sinuggest na ob-sono ng isang sis natin here.  sana magpakita na sya ng gender kasi i tried nung 16-weeks, looks like a boy daw. i tried again nung 20th week, parang girl naman.  hindi makita kasi breech sya that time.  sana cephalic position na si baby this weekend.  25 weeks na ako non so am hoping na kitang kita na talga yung gender.  i wanna start shopping na for baby stuff and gusto ko na rin mag isip ng name.  para focus lang ako sa isang gender.

happy pregnancy to all of us!  hinay hinay ang kain this christmas.

Naku, does that mean pwede pa maiba yung inaakala naming gender? Had that ultrasound on my 20th week.  We're planning to go 3D/4D by the end of December... sana girl na talaga para di masayang yung mga napamili

^Stroller at playpen with bassinet pa lang nabili namin. Si hubby kasi excited. Yung mga iba ngayong december (kung merong mag-sale) or sa january na.

ako sis konting damit pa lang...mga unisex pa..excited kasi ako mamili noon kahit hindi ko pa alam yung gender ni baby..gusto ko na nga bumili ng playpen pero sabi ng sis ko igift niya na lang daw sakin yun..hehe

Hehe ako I wanted to spread out the expenses kasi so halos complete na ang gamit ni baby except the disposable ones like baby wipes, etc. Bumibili ako pag may sale so malaking natipid

^same here. i wait for sale and baby expo. or pabili sa pinas ng mga onesies sa tiangge since it's way cheaper compared to here in singapore. major purchase palang namin ni hubby so far is the milk warmer & breastmilk storage thingie from avent. for baby cot naman, paglabas na ni baby, we want him to sleep beside us. sulitin habang baby pa

Ako rin sis sa Pinas nagpabili ng mga clothes and beddings, etc.  The cot I bought the expensive brand but 2nd hand from eBay -- for a third of the price! I mean cots don't really depreciate that bad unlike clothes (or unless puro ngatngat na ni baby hehe) so it's ok and safe to get 2nd hand.  Even the Fisher-price  bouncer, I just bought 2nd hand off eBay as well.  Basta things that you'll only use for a while like baby slings, swaddles, etc. I think you can buy used.  Pati yung mga kaartehan lang like a cot rocker (they are 4-pot like thingies you put under the cot feet to simulate 4 different kinds of motions), I bought 2nd hand. 

Things that concern safety like the car seat (which is a requirement here in Australia) and the pram/stroller, we bought brand new and they are actually our most expensive purchases (almost $600 for the car seat and $500 for the pram/stroller).

^mukhang yan ang magiging major purchase rin namin, stroller... hubby originally wanted a quinny buzz but we saw this brand na G Elite, cheaper cya and halos same performance lang so baka yun bilhin namin. another thing na mukhang magiging major purchase rin namin for baby is the cord blood banking. wishful thinking meron magsponsor nun for baby kahit yung $900sgd downpayment lang

grabe ang mga doctors dito, ang lalakas manakot about excessive weight gain, from kids to buntis even yung mga anmum daw nakakataba

naku buti na lang sagot ng sister ko and cousin yung stroller and crib..although may nakita ako kanina sa mall na playpen..gustong gusto ko bilhin kanina..jolly yung brand..

^Swerte mo sis, those are two of the most expensive items for baby   Lamang lang siguro yung car seat which we really had to get as you can't even take baby out of the hospital without one.  Mahal din yung baby monitor and breast pumps but I haven't bought them yet as I'm not sure I need them.

^Yup sis, babies up to 6 months old need to be in baby capsules or rear-facing car seats.  Tapos 6 months to 4 years old, forward-facing car seats.  Then 4-7 years old, they need to be in booster seats.  All with 5-point harnesses.  Super strict sila dito about that.

^okay na rin na strict sa ganyan, there's an incident na nabasa ko kasi sa local forum dito, yung mom napabayaan nya yung stroller (hindi nakabreak) then umandar yung stroller then tumaob with the baby what's shocking is yung stroller tumupi pagkaob, buti the baby is safe naman kasi naka seatbelt ba yun. nagkascratches lang sa face. d na sinabi anong brand ng stroller pero magaan daw. after reading that super napraning na ako sa mga stroller na yan

feel na feel niyo na ba mga kicks and movements ni baby? because i can really feel his kicks especially when im watching tv like now.. as in sunod sunod.. so excited na talaga.. first time momski to be kasi..

^Same here. Sa morning pagkagising, sa hapon at pag matutulog na. Malakas din sipa pag katatapos ko kumain. Pag sumisipa si baby ko kinakausap ko siya at yung husband ko pag narinig na kinakausap ko tatabi na sa akin tapos ilalagay niya yung kamay niya sa tummy ko. Mas excited actually si hubby pag sumisipa si baby.
