Hello!

May plan kami to go to Camiguin in the next few months and due to time crunch, baka di na namin mapuntahan lahat ng places of interest sa countryside tour. So sa mga galing na doon, were there any of the spots na pwede na i-skip or recommendations to spend more time on? I'll list below the sites I've seen on some packages:

*White Island
*Katibawasan Falls

Camiguin Tour
*Walk Way Station Of Cross
*Sunken Cemetery
*Old Church
*Soda Swimming Pool
*Sto.Nino Cold Spring
*Ardent Hot Spring

And if there are some places na wala dito, please feel free to suggest. This is my first time in Mindanao and gusto ko masulit. Hehe. Thanks in advance!

^ How much time do you have in Camiguin? Nag balikan lang ako Camiguin-CDO before, I managed to go to all of the places you listed except White Island in 3 hrs though literal na libot lang yan, hindi ako nag swim.

4d/3n kami so we could probably do 1 full day or 1.5 days in Camiguin. Thanks! Baka kaya na full day yung trip - super aga arrival to do everything and then return to CDO the next day very early as well.

^ Pwede. I left CDO around 6 AM then got to Camiguin 11 AM na so if mag White Island kayo you'll have to leave way earlier pa.

Day 1

Tres Marias Volcano, Walkway to the Old Volcano (picture lang sa baba di kami umakyat), Ruins of Gui-ob church, Sunken Cemetery, Sto. Nino Cold Spring, Soda Swimming Pool and Ardent Hot Spring.

Day 2

White Island then check-out. Visit Katibawasan falls (picture lang), Camiguin Animal Breeding Center & Ostrich Production Center and Giant Clam Culture.

Then lunch at J&A Fishpen then diretso na ng post going back to CDO.

ok na ba ang Katibawasan Falls?  last Nov na nagpunta kami konti na lang daw ang tubig kaya dinala kami nang guide sa bagong falls. anlamig at ang taas nang falls.

If kulang kayo talaga sa time, time saver talaga yung hindi pag-akyat sa Walkway to the Old Volcano. Mejo matagal kasi yung pag-akyat dun. Pero maganda siya sa itaas.

^Haha. Same tayo sis! Napaka-clumsy ko pa naman sa hindi pantay na daan kaya todo hawak ako kay hubby. Sabi ko nga pano pa pag umuulan dun? Malamang madulas.

Most travel blogs I've read, hindi na nila inakyat yung Walkway kaya wala ako makitang photos.

Matarik pala pababa! Hala, super clumsy den ako. Hahaha.

Inakyat namin yung walkway.. Andun yung mga life sizes na 14 stations of the cross. Nakakapagod sya pero along the trek eh maganda ang view. Must wear comfy shoes or trekking shoes talaga saka must bring water. Naexperience kong umihi talaga sa talahiban dahil walang banyo! Walang kyeme kyeme pag ganong lakaran nooh! 

Try the underwater cemetery snorkeling din. 10 pesos yung singil ng mga local bangka para dalahin ka nila dun.

Mantigue island is also nice. Na feature siya sa biahe ni drew ata yun.

Must try their lansones ha mga sis! Pinakamasarap daw ang sa Camiguin. I find it matamis pero parang nakakabili naman ng ganun katamis sa grocery! tee hee!  ang tip dun, ang bibilhin mo yung may mga langgam. Bumili lang kami sa tabing kalsada, which is tanim lang nila sa backyard and yes! Masarap nga!

Hello!

Nag ca-canvas ako ngayon ng mga package tours for Camiguin. Ang pinagpipilian namin sa accomodation between Pabualan Cottages and Chumz Travelodge.

Mixed reviews sa Pabualan tapos yung Chumz naman, mukhang bago-bago pa at malinis sa photos pero wala ako masyado makitang guest experience. Overnight lang kami and tulugan lang talaga kasi we'll be out most of the day pero it would help if we have an idea kung saan mas comfy and malapit sa cheap eats sa island.

Any reviews/comments sa mga nakapag stay na sa dalawang accommodations na to, paki-share naman please. TIA!

^Hi sis! Agree ako jan na tutulugan lang naman kaya we didnt avail yung mahal na rooms. Our's was Paguia Cottages. About 1,100 per night. Apat kami sa room. 2 queen size beds. 4 towels provided. Just a decent place to stay. Bait pa ng owner. MAy mga nearby na restaurant kaya d na rin kami nahirapan for food. Wala kasi silang complimentary breakfast.

Hi! nagpaquote na ako kay Kuya Teddy Pabualan. His rate is 1700/pax for 2pax for 2d/1n accommodation and tour. And i'll get his service na. Though wala pang exact date ng visit since di pa nassched ang rafting namin sa CDO. Almost covered naman na lahat ng tourist spots except Mantigue Island ata. So, i'll try na ipa-include pa yun. also, since last year ko pa nakausap si kuya teddy (di kami natuloy last year and nag DP na kami sakanya) and happily na natandaan pa nya ako. he gave a P100 off each sa rate nya. hahaha. okay na din kasi he is very very nice. mejo giniveup ko na din yung high end place sa camiguin since tight ang budget namin.

I'm not sure what hotels will give you a view of the sunrise, but definitely it won't be Paras Beach Resort, Paguia's Cottages, and Chumz Travelodge or any place close to the terminal to White Island side.
We hung out in front Paras Beach Resort watching the sunset. And the sun rose behind the mountain(?) from our view in White Island.

anyone who have been here recently? will be in camiguin next week and will get tours kay kuya teddy.  pero yun papunta namin is DIY via van from agora terminal to benoni port. may nakakaalam ba ng latest schedules ng ferries?

hi. got back from camiguin last tuesday. we got our tours via kuya teddy and stayed in YSLA CAMP along mambajao. Tent yun tinulugan namin pero glamping style. with private cr/shower tapos the tent is spacious with aircon pa. good for 4pax yun kinuha naming tent which is 3500. YSLA has their own pool, and beachfront. may breakfast na rin provided. may sarili silang cook so you can order food sa kanila though until 8pm lang. maganda yun place.

got to visit the usual spots in camiguin (land tours, falls, island hopping) pero pinakanagustuhan ko is katibawasan falls. ang kalma lang ng place (probably kasi na-solo namin yun lugar). relaxing.

for food, natry namin restos are LA DOLCE VITA and JnA Fishpen. Both serves good food and di rin kamahalan. hirap lang yun biyahe pag gabi na kasi puro habal habal, konti na lang ang motorela.

nga pala, better go to the port early kasi may scheduled time sila for the ferries. if di ka umabot sa oras, sa next ferry ka na sasakay. problem is, hindi naman hourly ang ferry nila, minsan cancelled pa pag lowtide. natry kasi namin yun papunta ng camiguin, abot sa kami sa 7am ferry to camiguin kaya lang cancelled daw because of low tide, kaya next ferry na yun nasakyan namin which is 9am na.
