^ahh mukang yun nga sis, di sifted yung flour hehe.

philadelphia or magnolia cream cheese lang naman ang gamit ko. wala pa akong na-try na ibang cream cheese. oo, you should have at least a hand mixer if di pa afford to buy kitchenaid. ako pangarap ko talaga magka-kitchenaid, hopefully this year makapagpabili ako sa ate ko sa US, kasi masyadong mahal dito almost have the price or more than pa if dito ka bibili.

hi girl24 and friendlyneighbor, for cream cheese, i tried adding cocoa mga 1/2 cup tapos 1/4cup butter naman.. titigas po sya hindi sya magmelt.. 3 cups powdered sugar tapos 8 oz cream cheese. You can also add coffee. Meron pa nga yun blueberry na powderized. home made ata yun blueberry nya.

I have a new discovery on cream cheese. use medyo matigas pa na cream cheese and butter.
hindi sya nag rurunny when you mix together and dont over mix cream cheese. Tapos I used heritage parang it was better that philadephia.

eto yun ginawa ko carrot cake and ok na ok yun cream cheese..

which recipe of creamcheese frosting ang mas ok? yung ginagamitan ng whipping cream or yung may butter?

Cream cheese recipe with whipping cream:
1 cup/8oz/227g cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract

or Cream cheese recipe with butter:
1 - 8oz package Cream Cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened

1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Which one will hold kahit mainit temperature? Also, which one is more masarap for you?

^ I usually used butter sis for my cream cheese frosting. There's a difference sa result kung pure butter ang gagamitin, mas masarap at mas tumatagal sa room temp. Kung gusto mo naman maghold talaga sya kahit sa mainit, use shortening instead of butter, but the taste is not so good. Decoration wise, wala kang problema kung yun ang gagamitin mo but not a fan of shortening sa frosting. I used shortening once sa creamcheese buttercream frosting, it can hold up to 8 hours sa outdoor set up.

I'm so excited at dadating na rin yung inorder ko sa Amazon na Cuisinart 9 speed hand mixer. I bought this for only $80, not sure kung magkano dito sa Pinas, pero sa 5 speed palang, over price na. My other problem is 110V yung kitchenaid, unlike sa cuisinart 220V na sya.

@mistiqshannen. Thanks sis. Try ko yung recipe mo.

Thank you friendlyneighbor. Try ko kasi yan this month for my baby's 6th month.

So i made another batch of chocolate cupcakes with a different recipe off the internet. Mas gusto ko outcome nung cake this time but ang problem ko, di even yung dome ng cupcake after baking. I'm not even after the dome shape. Gusto ko yung nakikita ko na even yung pag-rise nung cake up to the lip nung cupcake liner tulad sa mga pics/videos.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Even naman yung batter after I pour it sa cupcake liner. Although I'm using a silicon muffin pan.

Super naaliw ako kaya I decided to make an account at makapagparticipate na rin. Hello sa lahat  :D

Sis J27 ang galing!!! Love the pictures. I liked your FB page din.haha I'm a fan! Btw, ask lang.. kasi my problem has always been the frosting. Ano ba ang best frosting to use that can withstand heat and humidity lalo na if yung party na gagamitan ng cupcakes eh outdoors? Tsaka anong frosting yung ginamit mo dun sa FK's birthday and Francis' baby shower?

^thanks for liking! :-)

first, i would suggest you use buttercream. matigas siya once nairef, tapos lalambot din pag nilabas mo to room temperature, pero hindi naman agad agad nalulusaw yan kahit maghapon.

second, FK FRANCIS cupcakes, i used marshmallow frosting.

third, marshmallow and royal icing, No, not the same.
