Pilot Trolley Bag

Hi, wondering where to buy either a 1st or 2nd hand pilot trolley bag in GMA. It's the black leather box-type bag with the flip-locks on top & a stroller. i'm just not sure if the strollers are built-in or you get them separately. if anyone knows, also the price, please do tell. THANK YOU!

^sis, the wheels are built-in. Below are the brands that my husband used/uses:

Delsey - price range 4K-7K
Samsonite - price range 3K-6K

Let me check I think my husband has a couple of pilot bags he no longer uses. PM me if you're interested.

My husband uses the Samsonite line...I remember one time we went to have it repaired, they sent us to the warehouse/service center somewhere in MNL where they stored all the trolleys to be sent to PR, but mostly to 5J.

I'm not sure though, if they sell the old ones.

^PR uses Samsonite na pala. They used to provide Delsey bags to their crew. Buhay pa nga my hubby's hardshell Delsey.

Yup, 5J uses Samsonite pilot bags. But notice ko lang it's not the good and durable kind. Madali masira yung kay hubby so he has to buy on his own sometimes. For Christmas, I'm thinking of getting him a Rimowa para maski ibalibag nya matibay pa rin.

My hubby bought his own Delsey overnight bag at Rustan's. But yes, officially, they issue Samsonite suitcases and pilot bags now. Yep, kaya nga we went for repairs...busted the seams at the top flap...that was maybe a year ago or so...

Finally, bought hubby a Rimowa pilot bag for Christmas. It's not the stainless steel bag but the Bolero series business trolley. Pwedeng din syang pang carry on our personal trips.

Mama squeek im planning to travel this year. I had to google the rimowa brand you mentioned. How is it doing now? Better than samsonite? Thanks

^it's still in one piece and in good condition with some minor scratches which can be expected through wear and tear. I used to be a Samsonite fan myself but after I discovered Rimowa there was no turning back. I also have a set of Rimowa luggage I bought in 2009/2010 and they have been extensively used through out all my travels. They are still holding up nicely.

If you're interested in buying, the nearest place where you can buy it cheap is in HKG. Don't buy here in Manila kasi OA masyado presyo. And if you have a friend who works for Cathay Pacific ask to make pabili since we get 20% discount pa.

Yup, they have warranties. Not sure lang if they give discounts to PAL crew but you can always ask. They have a stand alone shop at HKG's T2, TST (Holiday Inn Hotel) and one in Central (Queen's Rd.).
