grace christian or pace academy?

next yr mag sskul na daugter ko im torn betwen grace christian and pace acedemy kasi...any feedback between the two??

if grace christian is traditional school then go for both para matry nya pareho kung ano ang pace academy at ang conventionalschool.

sis i have 3.4 daughter by next skul yr im torn between grace and pace kasi...wala ako recommendation regarding sa teachings nila toddler class ko pa lang naman sya ieenroll...grace kasi have toddler class na din...
nag visit nako both skul when it regards sa ambiance kasi mas magnda yun room ng toddler ng grace compare sa pace na parang hndi kid friendly considereing na toddler class yun parang hndi masyado nalilinis.. pero sympre mas impt. sakin yun turo kesa sa itsura ng room...totoo ba na may individualized approach ang pace yun bang one on one?? wala ba sa grace na ganun?........may pagka hyper kasi anak ko kaya worry ako sa mga teacher baka wala silang patient... thanks so much for reply sis ha...

A friend din na may nga tinuturuan sa grace said di daw masyadong okay ang turo sa grace since siya daw madalas nagtuturo sa mga tutees niya.  Darating daw sa kanya na hindi naiintindihan ang mag inaaral at need pa niya ituro ulit.

Wala akong kilala na nag aaral sa pace pero sabi nila okay daw dito, may high school na ba sila?

Tingin ko lang, sa Grace walang ganun since traditional siya, usually ang may one on one is montessori type eh.  Ask mo nalang sa pace kung may ganun or try other schools na may low teacher student ratio.

I think it depends on the student, if he listens in class or not.  My son just finish nursery at grace.  He is smart kahit before pa sya pumasok sa school marami na syang alam.   I have a tutee in Kinder 2, as in hindi nya gets lessons nya. And hirap turuan.  As I see it, he does not listen in the classroom.  Even when I tutor him, he is not focused.  Kelangan pa ulit-ulitin.  Kung minsan kahit ulitin, the next day kalimutan na nya. He is a slow learner.  Mas alam pa ng anak ko who is in Nursery pa lang ang mga answers in his English lessons.  I always tell my son to listen attentively in class. My job is to review him only and not teach him.  I just hope that ok ang ma-assign na teachers sa kanya.  Hindi rin kasi lahat ng teachers sa grace ok magturo.

I agree.  It depends on how the child adapts to the teaching style in a particular school.  Yun nga lang, hindi naman puwedeng palipat lipat ng school just to try and see if the child will fit.

when it comes to facilities, mas maganda sa grace.  it is sprawling, and it even has a koi fish pond.  mahangin siya at masarap ang pakiramdam pag pasok mo.  pace is just one building with no open space at all.  there is no space for children to play.  the place is also quite dirty.  the basketball court was never cleaned at all, and this is no exaggeration.  some classrooms also don't have windows which cause poor air circulation and more risk of hawaan sa mga sakit.  i think the school gives very little importance to cleanliness.

my son is currently studying sa PACE, we chose pace nung nag scout kami ng big school for our son kasi sabi maganda DAW ang turo sabi nung iba naming kakilala. which is TRUE naman, nung 1st few weeks hirap kami magadjust kasi we don't speak mandarin sa house. pure mandarin ang gamit sa Chinese class, the teacher won't talk to your child in English or in fookien. pumunta pa nga kami sa principals office kasi we are so worried, am asking my son di niya ako masagot ano na natutunan niya. sabi lang sa amin let the child adjust or get him a tutor.  di kami kumuha ng tutor, hubby and i went to binondo bumili kami ng chinese dictionary para makasunod sa mga assignments now patapos na ang school year, am so happy my son can speak, write and converse in mandarin pati ako marunong na umintindi, i'm not chinese si hubby chinese ako ang nagtututor sa son ko so talagang start from scratch kami, sabay kami nagaaral ng chinese at home with what is given to them in school im happy we transferred our son sa PACE. English class nila is ok din, my son is doing good in school with regards sa facilities yung ang downside nila kasi maliit yung space. next school year mag nursery na din dun ang 2nd son namin

hi sis sa PACE kona naipasok daughter ko .next yr also nagpareserved nako for senior nursery =)...so far im satisfied naman sa teachings nila although maliit nga lang ang facilities nila..pero im not masyado sa facility as long as presentable naman mas more on quality of teachings ako. and yoko din kasi masyado malaki population ng skul prone din kasi sa sickness sympre the more na marami ang population the more probability din na mahawa sa sakit =)..

sis lemontre baka nagkakakitaan tayo sa PACE its what grade nga pala son mo now?=)

I'm also torn between Pace and Grace! Pasado anak ko sa both schools. It's a matter of choosing na lang. Mas malapit ng konti ang pace sa house namin, pero hindi ko nga lang type yung facilities ng school. Sa Grace naman ok ang surroundings. Mas mataas nga ba ang standard sa Pace? Both english and chinese?

 Ok daw and pace sa nursery and kinder but when you get to grade1, yan daw start na nahihirapan ang kids kasi daw ang quizzes nila mahaba ang coverage and parang long exam sa dami ng questions. Grace naman is just like any traditional chinese school, masorganized since masmatagal na sila.
