Baguio:
I think most places here are haunted, seriously. My sister who studied in UP Baguio told me na every time I look for accommodation, make sure to know whether the place has a history of you know. So, factor sya sa akin every time na aakyat ako.
My story: When I was in high school I attended a week-long conference. As usual, we stayed in the famous Teacher's Camp. By then, I was already familiar to the stigma attached to that place. But knowing how 'insensitive' of these being, kaya dedma lang ako.
But there was this one night na nagising ako bigla. Policy ang lights off after 10 pm. Ang may ilaw lang ay yun lobbies. I found it so weird na may nakita akong silhouette of a woman (It looked like it had long hair kaya nasabi kong girl) na nakatayo sa tapat ng window. Btw, malabo mata ko kaya silhouette lang talaga naaninag ko. I thought na classmate ko yun na nagising din at nagmuni-muni sa tapat ng window. (honestly, ang weird nang naisip ko. The next day, I asked my room mates sino ang nagising at tumayo sa window in the mid of the night. Lahat sila like "Why would I do that?" So, I guessed yun na yun.
Antique: This is our province. I won't say the name of the baryo but I agree to one of the sis when she said nag-eexist ang tiktik and mambabarang. Di ko alam if victim ako but nun nagpasiyam ang family ng father ko, it was like the whole barangay was invited (Very usual yan sa provinces). While everyone was enjoying the food and stories, biglang may dumating na matandang babae na ikinatahimik ng lahat. Turned out this woman was sort of an outcast sa brgy. May certain "image" sya. This woman approached my cousin who was then holding her baby. She said in Kinaray-a "magandang bata." Then pumunta sya sa akin and nagsabi, "Taga-Maynila nga kayo, maganda kutis." After that, nilapitan sya ng aunt ko para ayain kumain but umalis din. Kinabukasan, pareho kami nun baby may rashes na. Para kaming may bulutong. One of my aunt dinasalan kami (na kung ano) then the next day, ayos na kami nun baby. Nabati kami.
Mt. Banahaw: This isn't my story. Nakakwentuhan lang namin to while we were in Sagada. May 1 grupo kami ng mountaineers na nakasabay umakyat nun. They were talking about the mountains they have visited. Yun latest daw ay Mt. Apo. Then isa sa mga matanda na nakikinig, nag-ask if totoo ba na may mga bantay sa ganun. Then one of them shared na ang recent experience nya ay sa Banahaw. Paakyat pa lang sila, nagulat sila biglang nawala sa linya nila ang isa nilang kasama. Literal na kumaliwa if diretso ang way nila. Hinatak naman daw nila agad, and they asked bakit dun papunta. The guy told them na sinusundan lang nya kasi yun nakikita nyang legs sa harapan nya then yun nga dun sa direction pumunta. Nun nagset na sila ng camp ng gabi, while they were eating, one of them probably could feel said na may kasama sila. This girl (who was telling the story has 3rd eye pala) said na actually nakapalibot sa kanila. Nagoobserve raw. Kinagabihan, she was really annoyed somehow kasi niyuyugyog daw tent nila. Di naman daw sya galit pero kasi ang hirap daw matulog. LOL
