Scary/Haunted/Eerie places in the Philippines

I also remembered from my uncle who has a friend in seminary sabi nya, wag daw matakot sa mga cemeteries because that's the resting place of the dead, mas matakot daw sa paligid ng church pag gabi kasi mas maraming spirits na pagala-gala, seeking for redemption and forgiveness kaya sa church sila pumupunta.

I also remembered my tita told me yung mom ng friend nya na-confine sa hospital somewhere in Makati, since iniwan nya muna for a while yung mom nya with their maid, itong si maid pinatay daw yung lights ng room before matulog. Later on, nagising yung mom and maid kasi di sila makatulog because meron daw whitish glow dun sa room at andami daw nilang naririnig na yabag at iyak coming from the room eh 2 lang silang naiwan sa room

last monday, i happen to pass by manila north cemetery. nagulat ako adjacent pala siya ng chinese general hospital. it was my first time to pass by that place and i felt eeire na magkatabi ang cemetery and hospitals. too much negative energies in there.

Up to this day I still remember the incident that happened to us during our trip in Baguio 2 years ago.

We stayed at this hotel (I forgot the name of the hotel) dun lang sya sa harap ng session road so sobrang accessible ng mga shops. Anyway nung tapos na kami mag libot libot during our first day in Baguio, dahil wala akong tulog dahil sa byahe, pagdating agad ng room nakatulog ako right away. Before akong matulog, everytime na pumapasok kami ng room nung first day parang gumuguho yung room na ewan. I don't know why. Para tuloy akong nag zizigzag. Pero pag lumalabas na kami, normal na ulit.

Then this is the scary part, I woke up at exactly 3 AM, naalipungatan ako kasi sobrang lamig, walang aircon yung room na kinuha namin because may terrace naman. But then I decided to wash my face since I forgot to remove my make up and change clothes na din. Nung humiga na ulit ako, maya maya I heard the faucet sa cr, biglang bumukas! But then I ignored it thinking na baka tumunog lang sya. Kaya lang malakas you could clearly hear it. Then after nung faucet, meron akong naririnig na dalawang guy na naguusap but I can't understand what they're saying. Parang gibberish. Then dun din nanggagaling yung voices sa cr. Ang inisip ko nalang maybe it's just the workers baka naguusap outside our room. Kaya lang iba yung voice talaga ng normal na tao compared dun sa narinig ko.

That morning, nagalit pa sakin yung cousin ko 'coz we're suppose to enjoy the nightlife in Baguio. But then yun nga nakatulog ako. So I asked her what she did during those time na I was sleeping. Of course, she's bored watching tv. At around 11 PM or 12 MN, dun bumukas yung door namin. Sumilip sya but there was no one. Tapos pag ka sara nya ng door, maya maya nag open na naman. But this time may "tao" daw sa labas ng door, 2 guys who she thinks are workers sa hotel. But it seems that they're "not" the one who opened the door. She told me that they look serious talking about "I-don't-care-whatever-it-is" topic and they're even not looking at my cousin, whose peering at the door that time. OR, unless, they did it. I don't know. But come to think of it, why would they do that in the first place? To disturb their guest? Siguro naman they would not want to do that. Sila ang masisiraan.

Hmm hindi lang yan actually ang na experience ko sa buhay pero yan lang talaga yung hindi naalis sa isip ko considering it's my first time in Baguio. But then, I love Baguio that I still want to go back.

 sa Alabang Starmall nung bago pa sya yung fam friend namin nanuod ng movie biglang nagtayuan daw mga tao palabas ng cinema kasi parang may "gulo", wala naman panic pero medyo maingay daw so sila rin nakilabas akala nila earthquake or kung ano pa man ... ending WALA ... napaka tahimik daw sa labas ng cinema kaya nagulat silang mga lumabas.

while my mom was recovering sa Lourdes Hosp, nagpapalit daw ng beddings yung mga elders biglang tumunog yung intercom "mommy" or "mama" .. voice ng bata, all the while akala ng mom at cousin ko may naglalaarong bata  sa nurse station. Biglang sabi ng elders "oi mommy daw" .. tapos sabay tinginan sila, sabi wala yan. Ngeee takot na takot tuloy sila that night ...

sa Balete naman cousin kong lalake nagda drive pagtingin nya sa mirror may batang girl na naki joyride hehe ... buti na lang daw nakatingin sa road yung bata at hindi sa kanya. Pray daw sya ng malakas na keep him safe kasi alam nya bilisan nya baka ma accident daw sya ...

i remember din, retreat namin nung hs sa baguio, everyone was so afraid kase super dami daw eerie things sa place that even the sisters managing it told us some latin words na "pangontra" daw when "something" happens. while the sister was telling us the latin and making us say it out loud, meron sumigaw sa 2nd flour na parang nasaktan na nakakatakot yung boses. i heard it and nagkatinginan kami nung classmate ko who was seating across the room. narinig din nya.

nung gabi, sobrang takot na lahat matulog. 2 each rooms pa naman. (side kwento: nagkabati tuloy kami nung classmate ko na incidentally eh kasama ko sa room sa takot, we decided na pagtabihin kase yun bed lol) the room beside the stairs, may mga nagsasabi na meron priest na namatay dun because the place was being used before na retreat house din ng sister and priests. conincidence siguro dun sa room na yun, hindi muna natulog yung isa kong classmate kase nagsusulat pa sya letters. while yung kasama nya sa room natulog na. while she was busy writing, meron bumubulong sa tenga nya na hindi nya maintindihan. pero boses lalake. tiningnan pa nya yung kasama nya sa room pero tulog daw. ilan beses na nangyari na may bumubulong sa kanya na hindi nya maintindihan. mabilis yung salita na husky yung voice. sa takot, nahiga na sya and nagtalukbong. nung patulog na sya, bigla sumigaw yung kasama nya sa room. takot na takot. may bumubulong daw kase sa tenga na tinatawag yung name nya. pero parang yung tone eh "ayan na ko" sa mga horror movies. her name is jocelyn and the voice is saying ng paulit-ulit yung name nya.

the entire retreat namin, nilagnat si jocelyn sa sobrang takot and everytime pinapasok sya sa room para magpahinga naghyhysterical sya so they have to move her to a different room.

our last day sa retreat, picture taking sa garden. the time na hindi pa uso ang digital at wala pa yung mga pangdodoktor ng pictures, on one of the group pictures, meron nacapture na babaeng matanda na mahaba ang buhok na meron mga white hairs (parang si juday sa movie na kulam) na nakatayo sa dulo ng group picture. she was staring directly sa camera pero with furious eyes. that was the worst na naexperience namin sa retreat house na yun.

ako naman, I remember nong college, don sa sikat na retreat house sa Tagaytay (nakalimutan ko na name), all of the girls were in one dormitory tapos paglabas kasi, andon yong banyo.  Before going inside, it was the free time namin so nasa labas kami, kwentuhan, takutan kasi nga madilim yong lugar, walang masyadong ilaw.  Yong isang classmate namin, was joking about multo.  Tapos nong time na for us to be inside the dorm, e di mga puyat na lahat, nag-shower si classmate.  So ok pa.  After some time pagdating sa bed niya, kwentuhan pa silang magbabarkada.  Then tulugan na.  Siguro mga nakatulog na lahat, pinatay na rin ilaw e, bigla siya naghysterical, tapos nanlisik mata niya.  Then nahimatay na siya.  Nagulat kami lahat.  Tinawag namin yong in charge sa amin non.  Dinala nila sa malapit na clinic.  Ang sinisisi nila, dahil daw nagshower si classmate kaya parang napasma.  Pero all of us, di kami naniwala.  Nong ok na si classmate, kwento niya na nong nagshoshower daw siya, me tumatawag daw sa name niya, babae.  tapos binilisan na lang daw niya magshower kasi nga natakot din siya.  Kasi nakakatakot talaga yong hallway sa may banyo.  Tapos nong natutulog daw, napatingin siya sa may door na napakalaki, may babae daw don na naka-white.  Tapos palapit daw sa loob, natakot na siya tapos wala na daw siya maalala.

kahit ako pag naaalala ko.. yun voice pa naman nya and the way he said the name parang nangaasar na parang "ready or not, here i come" ang dating. kase jocelyn kept on repeating how it was said to her. and dun sa babae, sobra scary talaga yun. kaya nun napanood ko yung kulam ni juday, sobrang takot ako eh.

bakit super haunted ng baguio? Aside from the histories during WW2 na maraming namatay bakit sobrang dami ng entities?

I also remembered yung bf ko nung nag field trip din daw sila sa baguio and their dorm is near Teacher's Camp iba daw yung pakiramdam pag gabi and there are areas na sobrang dilim

^in 1990, nagka-earthquake sa Baguio which claimed many lives. marami yatang namatay nun sa Hyatt Teraces, Hotel Nevada na sabi, nagpapakita raw until now.

^ So parang nagsama sama lahat ng entities dun? Parang lahat ng places sa Baguio may hiddent history. I also remember the famous Loakan Rd and the Teachers Camp na andami rin daw nagpapakita at nagpaparamdam. Anong meron sa Teacher's Camp? WW2 marker din ba yung grounds nun?

^that's right sis, super-mura ng rates sa Teacher's Camp. but there are really scary stories of beds moving in the middle of the night - dun nagigising yung mga nakahiga sa beds and syempre, hysteria follows.

I've been too curious why Baguio has soooo many entities, my friend answered me earlier. Kaya daw marami sa Baguio and some hotels and transient houses aside from Teacher's camp has spirits it because its too cold there. Aside that it has gruesome histories which left some spirits to wander it is also their thriving place. Malamig kasi yung lugar. Same principle din daw applied why some spirits stays in the CR.

Natakot naman ako sa post mo sis.. na wiwiwi pa man din ako di tuloy ako maka cr!haha
anyway, share ko lang hindi naman first hand experience to pero marami sa mga ofc mates ko ang nakaramdam na.  We have accreditaion kase sa isang hotel sa cebu maxwel hotel. bago lang sya na hotel. And everytime we have official business dun kami naka book.  Lahat ng natulog na dun twing nabalik sa manila may story sila. may naglalakad, may mga naririnig sila. yung friend ko feeling nya may nakasunod lagi sa kanya.  Tapos pag sinasabi daw nila sa front desk wala lang daw yun. wag daw pansinin.  Even our Japanese expats naka experience na.  I think lilipat na kami ng hotel.  Until such time, never ako mag over night stay sa cebu. =)

may nabasa din ako na ghosts like cold and dark places. kaya laging madalas nga daw talaga sila sa CR.

anyway, sa mga sis na taga south, any scary experience sa susana heights exit?

i remember na feature na ito dati sa MGB. taxi driver na may hinatid somewhere south (can't remember kung san). past midnight na. nung pabalik na siya at dumaan sa susana heights, naging foggy yung kalsada. tapos madilim daw at puro talahib yung paligid. pero nagtataka siya kasi parang ang tagal na niyang nada-drive tapos di pa siya nakakaalis sa lugar na yun. then napatingin siya sa rearview mirror, may lalaking nakasakay sa backseat at naaagnas na daw yung mukha. matapang si manong driver at kinausap na lang. sabi niya daw, may mga anak pa siya at kaylangan pa nya mabuhay. then nawala na daw yung lalaki. tapos biglang ang dami ng ilaw. na sa may sucat part na pala siya ng slex.

a friend naman, kwento din nya. may friend sila na first time pa lang pupunta sa bahay nila. eh medyo ginabi na. since first time, nanghihingi ng direction sa kanila.  nagkalituhan ata kasi yung friend nila, pagdaan ng susana heights toll gate, kumaliwa siya (going to everest memorial park). dapat kasi kanan (going to muntinlupa).

tapos kwento nung friend niya, una daw may nakita siyang matandang lalaki at tinanong pa nya for directions. ang sabi lang sa kanya "wag ka na tumuloy jan". pero tumuloy pa din siya. ang dilim daw nung area at di pa siya nakakalayo, ang dami na niyang nakitang multo. yung iba nga daw nakabihis panahon ng kastila pa. u-turn agad siya, drive pabalik. yung ibang ghost, hinahabol pa daw siya. nadaan pa din nya yung matandang tinanungan niya kanina. pero direretso lang siya ng takbo hanggang nakalabas siya ng susana heights.
