Laoag, Vigan and Pagudpud Thread 9

May isa pa pala akong tanong mga sis.. may terminal ba ng bus sa Vigan? May schedule din ba ng alis? Ilang oras ang biyahe from Vigan to Manila? Ay.. tatlo palang tanong yun. 

Yes sis meron. It's Partas, the terminal is near the public market. I'm not familiar sa exact sched ng alis ng buses nila, but 24hrs round-the-clock open ang bus terminal nila. Depends on the time you travel - kapag day trip, expect it to be a 10-12 hour travel because of traffic on the roads. Kapag night trip, it's faster (approximately around 8 hours) kasi wala gaanong sasakyan sa daan. Depende din kung peak season, dapat my seat reservation ka para less hassle; kung hindi naman bakasyon, pwedeng maging chance passenger.

Alternatively, pwede kang magpa-reserve sa mga buses na biyahe ng Laoag-Manila then magpasundo ka na lang somewhere along the main highway sa Bantay (where most buses pass). 

Sa ngayon, whether you go day or night trip, mas mahaba-haba ang biyahe kasi ang daming constructions sa daan (Ilocos region, Pangasinan & Tarlac). Re-routed ang traffic between Pangasinan and La Union kasi may major major construction along Sison, Pangasinan.

Home after my solo adventure in Ilocos!! Super nag enjoy ako. Nakisama pa ang panahon. Very nice weather, swerte nga daw kasi sabi nina Kuya Arnel at Ate Cathy maulan sa hapon. Share ko later experience ko.. Pahinga lang muna ako mga sis. Thanks a lot sa mga shared tips mga sis!!

Nov 1 (7PM) - Left for Pagudpud thru Florida Bus Line (Sampaloc Terminal)
                      > They have daily trip to Pagudpud 7PM/9PM
                      > When we left Terminal, we were only 4 passengers. hehe. Solo
                          namin yung bus,
                 
Nov 2 (5.30AM) - Arrived at Pagudpud Town.
                      > I texted Kuya Arnel and he picked me up. Diretso na kina
                         Ate Cathy's Homestay
                      > Rest until 8.30 AM
Nov 2 Whole Day - North/South Pagudpud Tour c/o Kuya Arnel
                     

Nov 3 (6AM) - Left for Laoag
                      > Just walk around the city proper
                      > Visited Ilocos Museum, Sinking Bell Tower and St William Cathedral
                      > Tricycle ride to Laoag-Batac-Paoay Jeepney Terminal
                      > Visit Paoay Church
                      > Tricycle ride to Batac (dito ako naghintay ng Bus bound for Vigan)

Nov 3 (1PM) - Left for Vigan
                       > Medyo matraffic during that time.
                       > Went to Bantay Bell Tower
                       > Vigan Cathedral
                       > Calesa Ride to tour Vigan streets
                       > Heritage Village
                       > Buy Pasalubong (small items lang, then of course ang Marsha's Royal Bibingka)

Nov 3 (7.30PM) - Left for Manila thru PARTAS Bus
                       > Bus bound for Pasay/Cubao leave every 30 mins.

Nov 4 (4.30AM) - Arrived in Partas Pasay Terminal.

Whew! Marathon mga sis. But I had fun doing solo trip. Only dilemma I had was asking other people para magpa picture. Aside from that, trip was almost perfect. Safe and very friendly ang mga Ilocanos. Dami ko nakilala during this trip. Bitin so I'll be back again next year August.

^welcome sis & i'm glad na nag-enjoy ka kahit solo ka lang. hehe! ganon talaga pag solo trip, ginagawa ko ako ang nag-aaproach na picturan sila para in return picturan din nila ako.

Oo nga, ganoon na lang din yung ginawa ko. Share ko lang one funny incident in Laoag. While looking for possible photographer, nakita ko si Manong Traffic Officer, lapit ako sa kanya.. "Manong, pwede po magpapicture?". Nagtaka ako kasi nagsuot siya nang uniform at cap niya. Then position himself with the Sinking Tower as his background, pinigilan ko ang tawa ko!!! Akala pala niya siya ang gusto ko picturan!! LOL, anyway I did took some photos of him. Nakakahiya kay Manong. One of those funny things. Keep me amused on my way to Vigan

P250/pax/night for fan room P350 for AC room. papa-reserve na ko. pero sa dami ng tinext ko, nakalimutan ko kung sino un kausap ko. iba rin kasi ginamit nilang # na pang-reply from the # na tinext ko tapos di naman nagpakilala. tapos i said, marilyn's homestay po ba to? nainis yata. sabi, hannah lou's homestay po. God bless. tapos di na nagreply..toinks..  maghahanap na lang ulit ako homestay na mura (aside from ate cathy).

Buti na lang in Pagudpud, I have Kuya Arnel as photographer. Infairness kay Kuya, magaling siya kumuha ng angulo at alam na alam ang tamang positions to have the best shots.

Sa Thursday night na ang byahe namin papuntang Laoag. Will stay in La Eliana for overnight then Kuya Lenzer will pick us the next day morning then umpisa na ng aming tour. Friday night  kina manang vathy's homestay sa pagupud na kami matutulog. then saturday, your ulit then byahe na pabalik ng manila Saturday ng hapon. Goodluck sa trip namin sana hindi umulan.

mga sis hindi ba hassle ang magcommute from laoag airport to pagudpud? balak ko sana ihire na rin si kuya lenzer hatid sundo sa airport plus tour sa pagudpud at laoag sana. may kasama kasi ko majonda baka mahassle sa pagcommute.

^ hindi naman esp if naka-van ka.

if not van, trike to bus goin to pagudpud then bus to pagudpud then trike to where you intend to stay. i traveled with a senior citizen ok naman.
