Anyone into Muay Thai?

Nag Muay Thai ako dati sobrang gaan ng pakiramdam ko, parang lahat ng muscle firm. May bonus boxer massage pa ni coach. but when i stopped due to my busy schedules. bigla akong tumaba, medyo nahirapan akong ibalik yun body frame ko.. hehe.. but now ok na ulit want to try it again kaso busy pa din.. i've done my MT at Elorde in Starmall.. galing magmassage.. hahaha

Hello girls! I found this thread online. It's nice to know that so many girls din pala are into this sport. I started in 2011 and I fell deeply in love with Muay Thai ever since. Btw, I train pala at the Phil Army gym. Rate is 200/session. Cheers!

^^Hi sis, everyday except Sundays may training. Training is open from 5-9pm, you can even go early if you want, just text the trainer if ever. Saturdays morning lang meron 7-9am. The gym is right by Bayani Road. Philippine Army gym and the trainers are soldiers. Mababait sila at mga previous fighters din. You just need to bring your gloves and hand wraps.

Planning on switching from Boxing to Muay Thai, oks lang kaya yun?

@soulsister - when do you plan on going sa army gym? I might as well try that one out since malapit lang office ko dun. Can I tag along?

^^ Yep, 70 sa use ng gym na babayaran sa may reception then 200 sa trainer.

If you're in Ortigas, Pasig, there's Muay Thai lessons in ULTRA. It's one of the best actually, it's the gym of the national team, the trainers are national athletes actively competing and training so you get the latest and best in lessons. Lots of women learning Muay Thai there. Cost: P300. (P100 gym, P200 instructor).

And you get to use the new oval of Ultra for free as well for your running needs.

I've been wanting to try muay thai. I hope to finally walk in to Elrode even without an appointment (I've texted them beforehand, though) - TONIGHT - and finally give it a try.

Nagbalik boxing ako sa Elorde Katips and my trainer suggested MT kasi mukhang kaya ko daw.  Ayun ang saya pala and total body workout nga.  Switch na ako dito instead of boxing.

I also want to learn Muay Thai... BF taught me some basics of boxing (he's a coach at a martial arts gym somewhere in QC) and he also is a muay thai enthusiast. Willing siya magturo kaso parang sobrang loose niya sa'kin. Kapag sinabi kong pagod na ako, stop na hahaha! And ayaw niya rin ako saktan lol.

There are martial arts gyms near to me... Elorde Maceda, Gilmore, Abad Santos... there's also Fitness Central Gym in V. Mapa. Saan kaya ok mag-enroll?
