Manila Bay Cruise

Mga sis share ko lang...

Someone tagged me in Facebook about Manila Bay Cruise. My BF and I went there last Saturday, ok naman sya 550.00 inclusive of food and entertainment. They sail 2-3x daily starting at 530pm. Nag sail kami 530pm kasi may sunset effect, ang ganda ng Manila Bay in a different perspective. Nag sail sya from CCP - MOA - U.S Embassy - CCP.

Food is from Manila Catering, ok lang not bad for a Cruise sail na 550 lang. May live entertainment din. Sabi nung waiter iba iba daw everyday yung performer, nung Saturday Acoustic duo eh. Meron din daw Jazz performer. Tapos kapag naman 2nd trip pag Friday Fireworks naman daw sa MOA yung nakikita.

It was a nice experience, maganda naman yung cruise. Sa upper deck kami nag stay kasi andun yung Acoustic duo tapos may mga drapes yung entire 2nd floor. In fairness maayos ang CR nila. Worth na din yung 550, ang romantic ng set up I love it!  Kung pupunta kayo don't forget to bring your camera.

Also I found out na isa lang ang operator ng Manila Bay Cruise tska yung nagpupunta sa Corregidor.

Sabi ng BF ko try ulit namin pero sa 2nd trip na tapos dapat Friday para ma feel naman namin yung nasa ilalim ng mga huge fireworks

wow matry nga yan for our anniversary i was thinking to bring my hubby kase sana to manila hotel champagne room...kase para fine dining...pero i guess mas better tong pinost mo sis....will try this ask ko lang gano po katagal yung cruise? hindi po ba mabaho sa manila bay? and hindi ba scary? medyo praning kase ako when it comes to boat rides then gabi hehe kaso your post made my mind chnaged....

we also tried it last December, for kids half price lang pwede nyo naman i-share na lang sya ng food.

about an hour din siguro kasi lagpas lang ng kaunti ng MOA then babalik na kayo.

gusto ko din ito i-try. tamang tama ang post mo sis, lapit na anniversary namin.

ang di ko lang sure ay kung sasama namin ang anak ko at si yaya.

Just called them yesterday since intersted din ako. But sabi nila, they have no boat daw, unavailable due to maintenance daw. By November or no certain date daw sila resume. Sayang nga eh, i had this in mind for my Mom's birthday this month. Try calling them too

^ hindi naman scary, pero i suggest na wag kayo punta pag malakas ang ulan or super ma alon. hindi ko naman na amoy na mabaho sa bay, pero madaming nagkalat na water lily kaya lang hindi mo na rin mapapansin kasi nakatutok kami sa ganda ng sunset eh (as in super ganda ng view). 1 hour yung cruise bago sya matapos madilim na hindi na kita mga lilies. pero sis hindi naman sya super duper extravagant like manila hotel champagne room ha, pero i can say na maganda sya maganda yung drapes effect sa upper deck tapos may mga ilaw ilaw super serene. in fairness ang ganda ng boses nung singer talaga pede ka rin mag request ng kanta. tama yun sis kung may theme song kayo ni hubby bulungan mo na yung singer hehe

sa mga kids, hindi ko alam eh pero sabi nga ni sis andreil_19 half the price daw. try to ask them na lang, alam ko yung number available sa website.

@ ms_teryosa - sis parang may nakita ako na pang swipe dun sa table sa bilihan ng ticket. check mo na lang din sis sa sun cruises para sigurado

sabi ng friend ko who went there last month, pede naman daw umakyat ng cruise kahit hindi na mag avail ng dinner as in sakay lang enjoy the music and sail. tanong ko ulit sa kanya pero alam ko mas mababa sa regular price.

go try it mga sis, ang ganda!highly recommended sa mga gusto magtipid pero gusto maka experience ng cruise

the food is so-so (pero pwede na kasi gutom ka na for sure).
the ambiance and crowd - pangcultural show.

sana i-improve nila, kakahiya kasi sa foreigners na sumasakay.
(btw, kung 50 ang capacity ng cruise, halos 10 lang ang pinoy)

ok lang yun sis, you are entitled to your own opinion. i have to agree that the food is so so. pero siguro dahil mahal ang gasolina tsaka yung ambiance pede na rin ang 550, pede na sa mga gusto lang maka experience na taghapit ang budget.

agree din ako na sana nga ma improve nila, alam ko bago lang din yung manila ba cruise nila eh

not to burst everyone's bubbles, pero magandang you know what to expect pagdating dun (para konting disappointment nalang)

i killed my curiosity and tried dining there.
and i wont be coming back.

ok lang naman siguro kahit hindi ganun kaganda.. para kahit paano after your cruise you can say naman "atleast na-experiece ko" hehe
tama rin na wag na tayo mag-expect ng mataas coz alam naman natin kung ano hitsura ng manila bay ngayon pero it's the experience that counts.

question lang: san ba umiikot yung cruise na yun? malapit lang ba sa star city? kasi plan sana namin is punta kami star city after the cruise eh.

just want to share my experience...

we had a cruise last sat.. dapat our cruise is 5.30-6.30 kaso since maulan that time nakaalis na kami ng mga 6pm which is ok lang naman coz we understand na maalon talaga.

ok naman yung ruise namin, hindi naman ganun ka-stench ang amoy like what one of our sis posted. and tama rin [textspeak!] isang sis dito na hindi mo na mapapansin yung dumi ng manila bay coz padilim na, hindi na masyadong makita yung dumi and ang mapapansin mo talaga dun is yung mga maiilaw na buildings, yung design ng ship, yung singer (the singer is superb, ang ganda ng voice) plus the other people na nasa-ship. sarap din ng food na hinain sa amin kaya sulit na rin yung P550 na binayad namin.

very funny yung mga nakasakay namin na koreans. nakakatuwa sila coz even if maalon na, they still enjoyed it. they dance and sing with the singer.

very accomodating din yung mga staffs and i love the balloons and dim lights..

I want to try this with hubby. Plan ko isurprise sya dito for our 9th yr bf-gf anniv. (we still celebrate our bf-gf anniv kahit na kasal na kami)
Sana may sked na uli sila ng cruise. One lang boat nila?

There are also yachts for rent for parties right? Anyone has tried it na ba? What's their contact details? I hope it's not so expensive hehe.

na try namin ito. kasi nung pumunta kami sa Corregidor ng mga officemates ko  is nanalo siya ng dinner cruise take note isa lang ha. so what we did is nagbayad pa kami for additional person naghati na lang kami. i would say hindi masarap yung food. yung dessert mo is yung cupcake na whatatop. hehe. for a change is ok na rin naman but ayaw ko lang talaga ng food. dun mo makikita yung manila at night and of course the sunset

i hope a new company would open a real cruise in a cruise ship in manila. ang ganda ng sa bangkok kasi when i saw the pics for the manila by cruise, parang kawawa naman tayo to think ang ganda ng sunset natin compared to bangkok =)
