gusto ko na talaga matotu mag-drive....

dati sobrang takot din ako mag-drive kahit nakaka-drive na ako. Marami kasing iisipin eh. Saka negative thinker din ako. Pero no choice I have to kasi ofw ang husband ko. I have 2 kids na maliliit pa.. sobrang hirap mag-commute. In short, kahit medyo alam ko na basic driving.. nag enroll pa rin ako sa A1 to gain more knowledge and confidence kasi pag alam mo ang ginagawa mo mas confident ka eh. Dati kasi, napapatakbo ko ang sasakyan pero medyo limited din ang alam ko technically kaya parang takot ako eh. Nung medyo naka-attend na me lectures at nakapag practice pa lalo nagbasa din ako ng books parang nawala ang takot ko plus more more more practice.. pa-unti unti lang. Sa subdivision muna, then punta ng mall yung medyo kabisado muna na mga way.. then palayo ng palayo. Ganun lang mga sis, unti-unti magiging magaling din tayo. At ayun mas ok din pala pag nasubukan mo na mag-isa ka lang.. di ka mapi-pressure hehe.. minsan kasi daming comments eh napipikon ako kay hub. hehe. mas makakadiskarte ka pag ikaw lang mag-isa. mararamdaman mo kung kaya mo na. ngayon hatid-sundo ko na kids ko.

Tingin nyo okay lang sa preggy mag driving lesson? Mag eenroll na kasi sana ako when I found out am preggy. Although marunong na ako sa manual, gusto lang ng dad ko para sure mag enroll talaga ako.

I enrolled sa A1. So far so good, di pa naman ako nababangga.. Hehe and ok ang instructors.  In my experience mas ok na may kakwentuhan ka para nawala nerbyos mo while driving. Malilihis kasi isip mo.. 21st hour ko na later and im confident na.. Im a beginner. Ma ssuggest ko na minimum na kunin nyo na oras is 20 hours. Pero sa 10 hours ok nadin pero mejo scared padin unti..
May kamahalan lang din talaga ang a1. Pwede na kunin mo is 10 hours then mag drive ka magisa sa village. Practice parking and maliliit na kalsada.

Is it true that during the lecture they teach you that the yellow light means go faster? I saw that in the UK reality show "Toughest Place to be a Bus Driver". Sa A1 ata sya nag enroll.

update on my private instructor. so far so good. nakapagpark naman ako sa parking ng office namen na nasa 7th floor. ang dami kong new techniques na natutunan, plus mas relax ako ngayon walang kaba kahit pa sariling car ko yung gamit unlike nung nasa driving school ako. and lastly nakapagdrive na ko sa edsa. from sta. mesa to qc then to makati. kaya satisfied talaga ko. thanks sis soncza!

sis i have a feeling we live in the same area.do you live in a tall building in araneta ave near centerpoint?..ang galing mo naman sana ako din magaling na mag-drive. gustong gusto ko na matuto. kahit takot ako alam ko kailangan na talaga.

Actually sis that is only one of the rules in defensive driving. When the yellow light flashes, and you are in the middle of the intersection already there is no point in reverse and moving back, kaya dapat you should move forward na to avoid collisions with other cars na nasa likuran mo na mabangga mo when you reverse back. And defensive drivers know na when a car is already in the middle of the intersection, siya ang may right of way, let him cross before you.

Tama sis pag beginner ka nga like me din before, mas maganda talaga na 15-20 hours talaga kunin mo para ma enhance ang confindence mo driving on the road. And definitely mas okay ang 2 hours a day na class kesa sa 1 hour a day lang. Kasi sa first hour they teach you, sa second hour you can start driving and they can correct you.  i enrolled at smart driving school naman.

I am currently enrolled sa Highway Globe Driving School and super happy ako kasi ang bait ng instructor ko. I am on my 4th day doing 2 hours per day beginners course and I could say na kaya ko ng mag drive. Sa matraffic na lugar kami lagi nagpupunta to practice my clutch skills. Grabe sa Pasig area kasi andaming kalaban so dapat alisto ka talaga.

I had a bad experience with Smart Driving school when I was driving, cinut nila kami! Ganun ba tinuturo nila sa mga students nila? hmpf!

Do you have any suggestions yung may mababait and super patient na instructors. I am planning to enroll this December. I can't rely sa driving lessons ng husband ko... Haha... Nerbyosa kasi ako kaya hindi ako makapagmaneho lalo na pag nasa car mga kids ko. Area is Pasay po. TIA!

A1 School is by far the best. The teachers were very into-details, they have patience (hindi yun pilit ah), they also make a follow through.

Hi Sis! You could check their facebook page, search mo lang sa Google. They have branch in QC and Guadalupe Mall. I enrolled sa Guadalupe, Avanza ang gamit ko kasi Im driving SUV. Right after my driving lesson, super confident na ko magdrive.

Will be starting my driving lessons hopefully this weekend.. but i do have a question. i know this is a basic rule, but why is it for female drivers, no male chaperon is allowed? di ba dapat may lalaki kang kasama to ward off sexual acts ng driver?

^they wanna avoid the male companion from distracting the student driver (comment ng comment or nagtuturo simultaneously or questioning the trainer's techniques etc). May iba naman pinapayagan din basta kausapin mo yung instructor.

I remember when I was taking driving lessons, my husband accompanied me and pinayagan naman sya. He never spoke the entire time, in fact, ako pa nga nag-crack ng joke with him while we were on heavy traffic to break the silence. Aba, si instructor, nagsumbong na my husband reacted daw during the lesson kaya hinde na daw pwede ako samahan ni hubby. I got really upset and wanted to talk to the instructor pero hinde naman nagpakita. Imbyerna.

Puro ba tinted ang mga cars na gamit sa mga driving schools? I haven't noticed.

Kasi kung hindi naman tinted I think it's just fine kahit walang kasama. The world can see you inside the car.

I've been with mechanics and rode with them for test drives. Since hindi tinted ang sasakyan, any sexual intention is impossible to do kasi kitang kita. Basta broad daylight ang driving lessons.

Kung gabi or madilim, yes, I recommend having someone to look after you.

Pero since you'll be having a male companion to accompany you (a hubby or BF) who may also worry about leaving their GFs/wives with the driving instructor, why do you not want them to teach you how to drive? The time spent on chaperoning you is just the same as the time they spend for them to teach you the techniques.

Besides, driving schools just teach the basics. The difficult strategies in driving aren't taught there.

ako naman hindi natakot kasi yong instructor ko naging instructor naman ni hubby. So kilala na ni hubby yon. Ayaw ko din na samahan ako ni hubby kasi baka mailang ang instructor.
