Help: digicam or dslr?

Nakakatawa yun mga naka-dslr pero naka-auto mode lang. Sayang kasi ang bigat nung camera. Kaya mag-PNS na lang.

I have a dslr and digicam (na waterproof) pero I want to buy a new one na may manual settings na din. Pasakit kasi talaga sa balikat ang dslr pag nagtatravel ka.

What's the best digicam kaya under 15k?

I was able to borrow a dslr for a few weeks recently and was impressed by the quality -- kasi naman all this time I was using a chipipay na canon P&S, phased out na nga yata hehe -- kaya lang I discovered that I hated having to lug the camera bag around, so I guess I should stick to another P&S. Casual photographer lang naman ako.

Canon 1100D or Nikon D3100 are the cheapest you can get.  They are priced above 20k.

mga sis ask ko lang ..im planning to buy GX1 body + 20mm 1.7 panny for my boutique pang picture sa items and pang night photography and bokeh purposes and in the future trying to add 7-14mm .. ok po ba to [textspeak!] na combination mga sis?...

better get a micro four thirds camera( olympus , panasonic) .. mga mirrorless cameras... almost same IQ sa DSLR pero smaller kaya mas madaling dalin...
interchangeable lens din like DSLR...

There are a lot of good digicams in the market these days that can rival DSLR picture quality (but only for web pictures. Printing is an entirely different matter).

I'm a photographer but I don't carry my heavy DSLR cams around when I'm not working.

If you really want to learn about photography, then a digital SLR would be the right choice. If you're only using a camera for everyday events, digicam.

from my experience,    akala ko okay na ako with a PNS na high end kaya i bought a canon s95.    pero parang kulang ang PNS for really special occasions.  bihira naman ang okasyon pero sayang kasi pag hindi DSLR ang dala...

so we bought a DSLR...  ang nangyari,  since pang everyday use ko was canon s95 which has too much features for daily use,  sayang ang camera..  so i sold the s95 and got a lower model na ixus na mas bagay for everyday use.  nasa bag ko sha lagi.

pang special occasions,  DSLR pa din ang gamit namin...

ingat ingat lang kasi madaming holdaper diyan mura nga nakakatakot naman diyan sa Hidalgo.

I had Point and Shoot Camera okay naman, depende sa preference mo kung ano yung kailangan mo talaga, may plan ka ba na maging professional photographer then choose DSLR pero kung for everyday use lang or ayaw mo ng sobrang bulky then Digi Cam is enough na. Ako, gusto ko sana talaga ang DSLR kaya lang ang bulky saka nahirapan ako sa manual na process haha bagay nga sa akin ang Point and Shoot na Camera. Ang cool nga pag naka dslr ka pero nakakahiya naman kung naka auto ka tapos yung manual hindi mo napapraktis sayang lang din kasi ang mahal ng dslr at magastos pa, but nowadays naman bumababa na yung prices ng ibang dslr infairness nakakaattempt din bumili, think twice or 100 times before you buy echoz

Same with my sister's agony last week. She wanted to have a DSLR since last year but I think that it's for professionals only and it's so heavy plus you need to change lenses every time you will take a pic. We searched for a good cam and she bought Nikon cool pix s100! It's a point and shoot cam, you can change the settings if you want to achieve a DSLR quality pic. The pic is very clear (16 megapixels) and what I like the most about this cam is its OLED touch panel monitor and it's very handy. You can bring it anywhere, anytime!

It all depends on your intents. What are going to use it for? Blgoging? Traveling?

Why don't you try hybrid cameras? I just bought one from Nikon and i'm loving it (I'm a Canon person person, btw... Used to be, at least). The term "hybrid" speaks for itself. I wasn't expecting much pero I have to admit I was quite impressed.

Hi mga sis what camera can you suggest, i will be using it for blogging, maganda yung tipong dslr quality siya pero PNS haha is there such a thing? Anyways, wala talaga ako alam sa mga cams so please help me out. Mahirap naman yung mabigat maganda yung lage kong dala. TIA.

Nung nagbobrowse ako kalimitan nakikita ko mga 30k above pa, so nadiscourage na ako, di ko alam ang difference ah? Basta malaki dslr na tingin ko dun haha since di naman ako photographer okay na ba yung 20k?
