Hi, I used to work for the govt. Ang malalaki talaga are the GOCCs i.e. GSIS, Philhealth etc.

But there is a plan right now to standardize this as well kasi paiba iba nga sila.

There are government agencies that are continously hiring. You just have to ask kasi bihira sila magpost. I saw in a different forum that DTI, CHED, and DBM are currently hiring

My father in law is a lawyer in a government firm. AFAIK he is earning 70k way back 2010. Tas they have a lot of bonuses.. kinukuha pa nga nya mga gasoline and food receipts namin kasi ipapareimburse nya.
Tas meron pa sya mga client sa labas so per meetup and hearing un bayad. Yung iba after na ng transactions nila binibgyan sya ng cheke.

Sa government mga nasa 40k to 50k ang starting salary range.

Office Manager in a Manufacturing company overseas. Earning a 3 digit salary a month, pero nasa 5% tax lang ako. Maliit nga daw for somebody na nagwowork abroad pero ang ok is magaan ang work and less stressful. Free accomodation and plane fare pauwi ng Pinas. I have the option to work sa office namin sa Pilipinas as soon as I reached my 3rd trimester. I am currently pregnant with my first baby.
