what kind of xray ba needed para makita yung sa wisdom? may mga xrays na kasi ko kaya kahit hindi ko na gastusan..

@snix: this dentist in makati that did mine only charges 4k-4.5k per tooth. name's dr. jv jarigue, his clinic is in Cityland Herrera Tower. magaan kamay nya saka ng wife nya who shares clinic with him. dami ko din napagtanungan na dentist, lahat quote sakin 8k each. until ni-refer sakin yan ng ex-officemate ko.

^hi sis, my dentist right now told me i have one impacted wisdom andthe rest is normal. I was wondering if the price will still be the same if The oter three are going to go through normal extraction.

I'm far fro makati too so will still have to look fe other cheap options. Thanks for the info though and can you also pm me their numbers? thanks

@snix: sabi ni doc he wants the simplest procedure as possible. kung kakayanin nya ng normal extraction, mas okey for him. in my case, kung kinaya ng normal extraction, covered sana ng medicard ko. kaso nagcrumble na yung crown ng ngipin ko cause it's too brittle so he had to do it surgically. i dont know how much it is pag walang medicard, i didnt ask pero cheaper of course. yun nga lang, malayo ka sa makati. might want to consider Dr. Uy whose clinic is in manila. backread nalang for Dr. Uy's details. but i'll still pm u my dentist's number in a while.

hi mga sis,hope you can help me on my situation.

a month ago,i visited my dentist to have my 2nd molar (lower right) checked,sumasakit kasi sya. sabi ng dentist, may slight na sira pero hindi naman daw enough reason para sumakit. theory niya,yung wisdom tooth na patubo tinutulak yung katabing ngipin ko kaya sumasakit. ginawa lang niya, pinastahan yung sumasakit na ngipin.

after a week, bumalik uli yung pain dun sa 2nd molar. then nawala,parang every other week pabalik balik yung pain hanggang last week up to now,hindi na nawawala yung pain and umaabot na sya sa temple ko  . nagpa check up uli ako and had xray, sabi ni dentist, yung wisdom tooth talaga ang cause (tabingi na yung 2nd molar ko sa xray). my options daw are i-root canal yung 2nd molar or i- extract yung wisdom tooth. she prescribed me to take anti biotics, prep daw sya in case i choose root canal.

question ko, if nabunot na yung wisdom tooth ko,sure na kaya hindi sasakit yung 2nd molar?kasi i'm thinking to have the 2nd molar remove na lang,since may sira na din sya and hindi naman sumasakit wisdom tooth ko

^base sa kwento mo,.i guess the wisdom tooth needs to be removed, especially when its IMPACTED or walang enough space para tumubo sa proper position.

I highly suggest Dr. Uy. He charged me only 4k per tooth. Since 2 sila at sabay ko pinatanggal, all in i spent lang 10k. 1 week rest. By the 10th-12th day kumakain na ako ng regular food- (meat, rice)
Cheap na yun kasi ng pa quote ako  before sa ibang clinic, 8k per tooth. namaaaan

Kakaremove lang ng impacted tooth ko sa left side kahapon. Super pain talaga siya, ang hirap lumunok/kumain. Question ko lang, normal ba na yung swelling umabot na sa baba? Tsaka hirap din ako ilift yung ulo--yung titingin sa taas sa sobrang bigat ng swelling. Naglalagay ako ice packs pero parang walang effect. Thanks!
