^ thanks sis! ang prob stop nko ng antibiotic and yung ibang mga food kahit gargle nkastock pa din hindi natatangal ok lang kya yun and hindi nman kya yun nkakaaffect sa healing process?

^ sis diba siya sinuture? kasi kung nasuture mababaw na yung extraction site nun kasi nag dikit na yung gums..di na masyado mastuckan food.. ( i assume na 1 week na sis kasi sabi mo tapos na antibiotic e hehe)  nagblebleed pa ba? or may suture pa tapos dumidikit sa thread? kaya di matanggal? if sarado naman na tapos wala na din suture, puwede ka na magargle with force.. try brushing the area gently lang para sumama yung food na nastuck.. gargle din with betadine gargle pero 1 week lang ha.. no more than that.. or gumamit ka na?

i had mine extracted kanina with dr uy, upper and lower right. i thought lower lang pero sabi niya need na din daw extract yung upper kahit di impacted kasi wala na siyang tatamaan na ipin. so pinaextract ko na din since dr uy said its for free. it took him around 20-30 minutes to remove my impacted tooth, and less than a minute for the upper wisdom tooth.

i would also recommend him kasi i love how he treats his patients. he calls us by our first name often kaya parang i feel valued, na personalized yung service. and he is really good. saw his certificate of recognition, 6th place pala siya sa board exam in 2008.

^^ natangal kasi un surture parang nagloose kya nkaopen pa din un butas. sabi ng dr. gargle lang pero worry lang ako kasi nstock un food dun pnu if mag close cya with the food inside? orahex un binigay nya skin to gargle. takot ako ibrush kasi mejo sariwa pa un gums malambot pa kasi pero wala nman nang bleeding..

orahex is good din wag lang lalmpas 1 week gamit.. oh i see natanggal pala.. hmm gargle ka lang maigi tapos pag may nastuck na food tooth pick mo yung debris out of the wound.. dahan dahan lang yung pagpull out nung debris ng food.. sa harap ng mirror mo gawin paa makita mo if natangal talaga..
better use nga pala yung metal na toothpick or yung plastic na toothpick para lang maalis yung debris na nastuck
but not to pick in between the teeth ha always use floss for that

Pinacheck ko din wisdom tooth ko kanina and he asked me san ko nalaman yun clinic nya, i told him sa GT, ayun sabi nya meron din isang girl nung morning na sa forum din nakuha. Ikaw ba yun? hehe.. Anyway, di ko pa pinatuloy yun extraction ko, pinaresched ko na lang. Sayang kasi yun mga kainan ngayong weekend haha. Pero definitely sa kanya ko ipapatanggal, and baka magbraces na din ako. Ang charming ni Dr. Uy, in fairnes.

does anyone here have an idea if mapasukan ng food [textspeak!] butas is it safe? kasi i asked my dr. sabi nya ok lang nman daw? pero natatakot kasi ako na bka mainfect or what? and pnu mag close if may food.

Sa akin sis binawal talaga yung solid food for a week. After nun pag kumakain ako may pinapalagay na parang paste sa akin nakalimutan ko na nga lang yung name para wag mapasukan yung butas.

I had mine extracted na last Tuesday, lower right and upper left. Yun nasa right is impacted, the other one is complicated. Ang bilis ni Dr. Uy, 10 mins lang, done na both. Mas matagal pa yun sa anesthesia. Painless talaga yun extraction. Up to now ok naman, though nagugutom lang ako kasi soft diet for 1 week..

sis what if not fully erupted yun ipen? pwde ba bunutin yun? or mas masakit at mahirap?

^sis, impacted wisdom tooth are those that failed to erupt fully through the gum line. depende sa position ng ipin kung gano siya kahirap bunutin, mas mahirap ata pag horizontal yung position.

i have three impacted wisdom teeth and one dentist said that all of them had to be removed and she's charging me 16k for anesthesia palang! we can't do it in her clinic daw because the position of my teeth is so deep and we have to do it in the hospital blah blah blah. plus i have to take at least 3 days-1week off from the office because of the swelling! mababa ang tolerance ko sa pain and im sooooo scared (pero mas scared ako sa gastos. ROFL.) she's telling me that these impacted teeth can lead to all sorts of complications (she's scaring me, really.) so i wonder, do i really have to undergo extraction and have them removed kahit na wala naman talaga kong nararamdaman na anything? just a precaution lang kaya tatanggalin? some of the dentists that i talked to said that if i don't feel anything, they don't have to be removed. not all impacted wisdom teeth naman daw cause complications. im super scared and confused now. o__o

sis, ano specific complications na sinabi sayo ng doctor?
on my case kasi, yung complication ko is sinusungki na ng wisdom teeth ko yung mga ipin ko tapos sinisira niya yung bagang ko kasi pinupush niya ng pinupush kahit di na siya kasya. that's y my dentist asked my 2 wisdom teeth to be removed immediately.

hi! sis i have 4 impacted teeth.. lahat tinanggal.. sis your doc is correct.. yung mga impacted it causes tumor/cancers etc.. hanggat pwede pa, pa tanggal mo na.. kasi meron ako ka opismate hindi nia pina tanggal.. nung sumasakit na.. tsaka niya plan e hindi pwede kasi high blood cia.. so may mga chances na hindi na pwede or dahil sa age nadin

@momotakeshi hi sis.. marami po talaga complications pag hindi natanggal yung impacted teeth, though it may take a while pati maraming factors.. with the tumor or cyst and cancer true yun specially kung nastuck yung tooth sa area ng jaw na delikado.. pero again maraming factors talaga..

you can always ask for a second opinion naman e, try mo  magconsult sa ibang Dentist and show the Xray of your teeth pero wag mo kagad sasabihin yung sinabi ng Dentist mo.. sabihin mulang muna papaconsult ka, para lang macheck mo kung pareho sila halos ng diagnosis ng Dentist mo
