Another project of ours.. My mom got cuttings of Japanese malunggay from a friend and we will plant them soon.. Hindi daw ito mapait and the leaves are bigger:

Also sharing our passionfruit vine.. They are starting again to have fruits! annually din sila.. First time to bear fruits last year..

Hi sis Project60.. Yung japanese malunggay my mom just got cuttings from her friend's tree in Cavite

Yung culinary oregano was given to my mom before pa and it used to be a small shrub. Now bush kung bush hehe


Mga sis! Very excited to share that my sis gave us 3 italian basil and 3 vietnamese basil and 1 arugula/rocket. She bought these in FTI.. Super cheap! 3 for P100 yung italian basil as well as yung vietnamese.. Tapos P40 lang ata the rocket! So happy!! Ang tataba at daming leaves!! Super sulit!!:

The tindera said mas ok if sa compact pot daw ilagay itong mga ito.. Or just keep them sa original pots niya.. She also gave something organic to spray on them to get rid of the pests. Sorry I do not know ano name ng vendor.. Nakalimutan din ng ate ko hehee.. Basta when you go to FTI.. Just look around and for sure you will find something there

Recently, I'm into balcony gardening, since we are living in a condo. I have tomatoes, bell peppers, chili finger, ginger, leaks, pandan, and lemon grass.  All is grown from seeds of vegetables that we bought from market.  I just dump the seeds in one rectagular pot, then, pag nagsprout at medyo malaki na, inililipat na namin ni hubby sa individual pot.  Meron din akong orange, nagtry lang ako na itamin yung buto ng orange na nabili sa shopwise, luckily, tumubo at medyo malaki na ngayon.  Nakakatuwa at nakakarelax na makita na lumalaki na sila.  My husband and I also asked our 3 year old son to water the plant using the sprayer, dual purpose, naturuan na namin sya to take responsibility at the same time, it will develop his fine motor skill. 

I want to try herbs, kaso di ko alam kung saan ako makakakuha ng pantamin.

Pajoin po... kakabili ko lang ng seeds ng cabbage 24 pesos(135 estimated seeds per pack),3 tingi ng pechay (3 pesos lang per tingi) at onion 24 pesos (250 estimated seeds per pack).. at 1 kilo ng fertiizer 30 pesos lang..now going to plant this in a seed bed... yung buto ng sili ko nagsprout na going to transplant na (yung mahaba na klase ng sili halos half ng laki ng mga siling haba)... ginawa ko pala sa sili para mas madali magtubo binilad ko muna yung seeds ng 1 araw tapos the next day nilagay ko siya sa wet cotton after mga 1 week nagasprout na sya.. yung bell pepper ko kasi dati ang tagal magtubo dapat pala ganito rin yung ginawa ko.

Update lang po mga sis.. yung buto ng pechay ko nagsprout agad 1 day old pa lang siya..nakakatuwa mabilis pala ito tumubo.. yung buto ng onion at cabbage ko wala pa pero it's too soon.. kaya okay lang inaasahan ko talaga sila mga ilang araw pa or a week..bibili ako ng black plastic, doon ko itatransplant pag lumaki na sila.. i dont know if anong tawag doon mga sis, how much po kaya yun? I forgot bumili kahapon sa sobrang pagkaexcite ko ang dami kasi choices ng mga seeds eh may upo,carrots, basil,ampalaya ,bell pepper, lavander, squash, onion,pechay,cabbage,lettuce, mustasa at etc ...sana mabuhay yung thread na to..naaaddict talaga kasi ako ngayon sa gardening =) baka mag-alaga na rin ako ng mga flowering plant, siguro rose, kaya sisimulan ko na magtanong-tanong hehe

Please update mga sis sa mga plants nyo.. nakakainspire po yung mga post nyo, inuulit-ulit ko basahin

Just checked out aani in fti - okay naman siya, madaming plants (ornamental, veggies, herbs, even grafted trees) na reasonable prices.

Also went to quezon memorial circle (dun sa aani market din dun) dami ding plants kaso a little more pricey than the one at FTI. herbs there parang 50 pesos each versus sa ft na 3 for 100 or minsan 35-40 each. Although mas marami choices ng ornamental plants, i think ha.

Anyway if you're from parañaque may mga herbs etc kami you can buy from my mom
