Balikbayan Visa

How does this work?
Do I just tell the immigration officer sa airport that I intend to avail of the Balikbayan visa? Wala itong fees, right?

sis, is this the balikbayan program? if so, then just bring your old philippine passport with you. the last time I went back home, they didn't ask anything. I just showed them my dutch passport. But, I spoke in tagalog with the immigration officer. Here are the documents that you could bring:

for former Filipino citizens with foreign passport, you need to present your foreign passport and any of the following:
-  previous Philippine passport;
-  Foreign Naturalization papers to show former Filipino citizenship; or
-  Certification issued by the Embassy or Consulate of the adoptive country that the individual is a former
Filipino citizen.
