Hello, mga sis. Share ko lang ang aking acne story. Nagstart ako magkapimples nung high school ako. As in malalaking pimples tapos everyday may new pimple na tumutubo. Nakakadiri tingnan ang mukha ko noon. Dahil dyan, dinala ako ng mom ko sa derma. Gumaling naman and nagclear talaga ang skin ko.

Come college, naexcite ako sa mga new beauty products na nauso. Naglalagay ako ng mineral powder (beneficial raw sa balat) and BB cream (para blooming raw tingnan). Extra virgin olive oil naman ang makeup remover ko kasi sabi sa mga blogs, yun raw ang effective na pantanggal ng BB cream. Nasuffocate yata yung skin ko kaya nagbreakout talaga ako. Ang unang nangyari, gumaspang yung skin ko, nagkabumps na maliliit. As in parang sand paper ang texture huhu. Pagkatapos, tumubo na yung pimples na malalaki. Mga cystic acne. Yun siguro yung way para masabi ng skin ko na "Tama na! Hindi na kami makahinga!" Araw-araw may bagong pimples ako huhu. Ayokong humaharap sa salamin nun kasi nga nadidiri ako saka naaawa ako sa itsura ng balat ko. Parang ang dumi-dumi ko. Naging malungkutin ako. With that, my mom decided to bring me again to my derma. I was asked to take medicine and apply clindamycin and tretinoin. Pinadiamond peel rin ako ng derma ko. Gumaling ang pimples ko and nagclear uli yung skin ko yey.

Mga isang dekada na ang nagdaan at hindi na ako masyadong tinutubuan ng pimples. Lessons learned? Ito:
>Hindi na 'ko naglalagay ng kung ano-ano sa balat ko. Hindi na 'ko basta-basta nag-eexperiment ng mga products.
>I don't use oil-based products. Takot ako sa liquid foundation at oil-based toners.
>As much as possible, I use baby powder WITH ZINC for my face. 'Yung pinaka-makeup ko na ay Bobbi Brown sheer pressed powder or VMV face powder.
>I use products made for sensitive skin, such as VMV.
>I ensure to use toner (not oil-based) after washing face. Para mas clean ang pores.
>I take Conzace kasi may zinc siya.
>I wash my face before sleeping para clean ang pores.

After I turned 25, peculiar pimples started popping on my face, 1, 2, 3.. s*** getting out of control na

Went to my trusted skin care, scheduled an appointment, and my doc finds it also unusual.
I think she thinks it's too early to rule out anything, she prescribed me antibiotic, coz what she knows for sure, is may infection yan bec namamaga, she said.

Oh, she injected something called K.I. the procedure they do when pimple/s is/are really angry

To my surprise, 4 hours after, the biggest zit is now flat and seems calm. although red pa din sya, i will religiously take my meds.. nakakawala to ng confidence.

So what's my point?

1 GO TO A REALLY GOOD SKIN CLINIC, it will save you repetitive treatments
2 If you stumble to a really good aestethician, get her name and stick with her
3 As per T/S, i consider home remedy more as preventions, do not ever sleep with make up on and atleast cleanse your face before you go to bed.
P.S. you may add facemask once a week! good luck

I got pimples on my forehead and temples and hairlines. Do you have idea why? Is it because of my shampoo? Ano ba dapat gawin? I use cetaphil gentle cleanser now and cetaphil lotion. But i guess I'll stop using the cetaphil lotion because it made my pimples angry. Should i drink zince supplement? What can you recommend?

^ Hi sis. It might be because of your hair / hair products. Try anti - dandruff shampoo for your hair and avoid hair products that are too rich, then observe if it will make a difference.

^^tama si michipoo, yan din question ko dati then sabe ng mga sis dito try ko daw anti dandruff shampoo. So ayun Head&shoulders na ginagamit ko ngayon, nabawasan yung pimples ko sa noo :-)

Hi Girls!

I read blogs about PH level of skincare and how it affects your skin you might also want to read articles about it. Just google it. I started to use again my Sebamed Face cleanser with PH 5.5 and so far it tames my breakouts.

Hello mga sis! Im a newbie here. Been reading all of your posts. Recently, nagka-breakout dn ako because of stress. I had lots of cystic acne (the big, swollen ones) on my jawline and lower cheek. Yung previously ginagamit ko (Cosrx line - korean brand) hnd na nageffect kasi sobrang lala na. So I decided to stop everything Ive been using and cosulted a Derma. She basically gave me, SSA soap, tea tree toner and tretinoin gel 0.025%. And she warned me na initially may purging stage nga daw because of the tretinoin kc it hastens the cell turnover para daw malinis [textspeak!] pores sa face ko. On my first dew days of use [textspeak!] nag breakout ako, sa forehead etc. It's my 2nd week of usage, and currently naghheal na sila and i'm seeing positive result na. So will wait for few more weeks until it totally clears up.

^^that's nice to hear sis.. ako din im using a soap w/ tea tree, antibiotic and tret .025%. everything works well with my skin. my purging last up to 2 weeks pero ok na after, there are still pimples that are coming out pero pa-isa isa lang. Im so happy to finally found the products that work well with my skin:)

I have pimples on my forehead. I'll just try Cetaphil as cleanser, Klenzit CMS as treatment and HHN night moisturizer as my moisturizer. I'll switch shampoo for anti-dandruff na. Good luck to me!

Since hindi ako sa sanay sa breakouts kasi kadalasan paisa isang pimps lang nagkakaron ako at yun pang paisa isa na yun eh maliliit lang talaga, nawindang ako nung nangyare saken to. So i tried everything at once. As in lahat ng alam ko at nababasa ko para sa pimps gagawin ko lahat yan o kaya bili agad ako. From natural treatment to kung ano anong pahid. Sometimes those things worked pero bumabalik ulit eh.

Kaso imbes umOk napapasama lang skin ko nagkarashes face ko. Ang gaspang girl parang liha. Super nakakawala ng confidence. Parang ano to bakit may ganito.

So i consulted a derma, one week nawala rashes. As in nawala, no trace ng kamot or bumps. Then babalik ako ulit sa kanya for my pimps naman.

Mahirap pala talaga magkaron ng pimps at acne, before kala ko bili ka lang ng rejuv set ok na yan. Pero pag sayo na pala nangyare nakakaloka. So payo ko sa inyo mga sis if kaya naman, derma na lang. Yung ok sana mahanap nyo at hindi namemera lang 😊

Balitaan ko kayo if ano mangyayari sa pimps ko.
