I just want to share, how i tamed my acne breakout in my chin. I used:

ako naman, kung kelan tumanda don ako nagka-pimples.  I did not have problems with pimples when I was a teenager and when I was working sa Pinas.  Nag-start lahat to when I worked overseas.

Medyo nag-tame ang pimples ko with BN acne set as well.  I love their toner and the soap works well.  Kaya lang me mga scars pa rin ako.  tyagaan lang siguro but I am thinking to start to use something para mag-peel yong sa scar.  Still researching.

I noticed na I get pimples when my period is coming up, pag nagpuyat ako, pag nagkape ng sobra (funny) and when I eat too much oily foods.  So I try to avoid these things now.

^You're not alone. I share the same sentiments. I'm not sure what the culprit is. My friend gave me a whole bag of chocolate from Germany so I'm hoping that's the reason.

^ tama sis, that's also one of the culprit pag nasobrahan - chocolates.  niloloko tuloy ako ni hubby, tanda ko na daw, me pimples pa.  When I was a teenager, despite of a very simple skin care routine (just face wash, toner and moisturizer), walang problema on zits.

what I notice is natitrigger ang acne ko pag kumain ako pork, yep pork (sad I know); kapag kulang sa tulog and pms (nagkakahormonal imbalance ako which causes acne sa lower cheeks and chin ko), and kapag kumain din ng dairy products (I looooove cheese btw).
currently using The Face Shop tea tree oil for spot treatment. my concern is, even if I don't touch my pimple, it leaves dark spots especially yung area around my lower cheeks and chin. though not bad naman kasi a dab of bb cream usually covers it. been on the lookout for a potent product with Niacinamide or Vit C for my dark spots, and of course something that won't trigger acne.

Hi guys share ko lang how effective the Co2 fractional laser is for me. after some time, i must say, HG ko na ang centella madeca cream it improved my acne drastically like i welcomed the year with clear skin finally! Pero it took some time before i noticed the full result pero naamaze ako talaga..

Curious din ako on how to apply it, do you put it sa affected area lang or the entire face?

Went to Flawless last July for my routine facial but decided to consult with a Derma since my skin is acting up that time, akala ko I have dry skin, kaya Ive been using moisturizers, serums, etc yun pala I have oily skin. She prescribed their facial na medyo advanced kasi may chemical peel and gamot na iiwanan + their acne kit Mesoestetic, a bit pricey almost 10k 4 pcs lang + the treatment/procedure, but it worked, until now, I noticed na if I do my chemical peels religiously like twice a month, hinde nagfe flare up pimples ko or kung meron man ambilis ma control. Suffer ka nga lang talaga kasi micro peeling sya so may days na magbabalat ka and if you're using make up mahahalata. Ang daming laman nung products, since after 1 month di mo na din kailangan araw arawin, pero yung mousse foam ko ubos na after 3 mos since twice a day ko ginamit.

^^^ Buti ka pa sis, I tried it before but nothing happened, naka 2 tubes ako.

Anyway, I tried adding The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc to my routine plus Benzoyl Peroxide for spot treatment. My skin has never been better hehe no new pimples na unless I'm on my period and the TO Niacinamide really helps lighten my PIH. Very happy so far.

Just went to a dermatologist today. She gave me clindamycin toner, azelaic cream, and this glutaflex facial wash . These are for my hormonal acne na nag aappear when my period is getting near na. Nakakasawa na, every month nalang ba laging ganito..  sana the meds will work not just on treating my pimples but also on preventing it..  hehe

Good day po. Try nyo po epiduo forte 1750 po isang small bottle. Effective po sya sa akin after 5 months ko po na gamit hnd na po ako nag kaka pimples then nag TCA peel ako every month sa ospital po mismo ang derma ko.

Just want to share, dati nagppost din ako sa thread na to. Hindi ko kasi alam kung bakit non-stop acne ko. Nagstart siya sa cheeks tapos hanggang sa nagkakaron na rin sa chin. For some reason laging right side ng face ko yung affected pero yung left smooth. Natry ko na pumunta sa mga derma before and natry ko na rin yung regular diamond peels. I must say nagimprove texture ng skin pero konting control lang interms of flare ups yung nakukuha ko. Then nadiscover ko yung pixi glow tonic and super big help to in managing my pimples and improving texture, but then again, it didn?t stop. Oil cleansing made a huge difference too kasi nakakatanggal sya ng deep seated dirt and sebum. But again, andun pa rin hormonal acne ko and so one day I braved going to an OB to have me check for pcos. And mga sis,ang pcos is hindi lang sa irregular period. Regular ang period ko so never ko naisip to dati. Wala ring derma na nagsuggest sakin before na magtry sa OB. So I strongly suggest na kung hindi nagsstop acne nyo magpacheck kayo for hormonal imbalance/pcos. Turns out may pcos ako sa right ovary (hindi both kaya siguro regular). That also explained yung sobrang low ko pag PMS week and yung sudden mood changes. akala ko may psychological problem ako =)) serums, toners are only meant to improve our skin. The treatments will depend sa cause. Hindi ko sinasabing lahat pcos ang cause kasi kung infection or bacteria magagamot sya ng clinda or benzoyl. Nagamit ko na sila lahat kaya ayon,buti nalang talaga pumunta ko ng kusa sa OB. Hay. What a journey. Ngayon simple routine nalang ako and just looking for products that will speed up lightening marks.

^ hi sis. I can relate to your experience. I have pcos too and I know that?s what causing hormonal acne sa chin and jawline ko. And yes, you are right. Kahit anong products na hiyang sa skin natin, it will not really address the root cause of our acne. It will just keep coming back especially when nothing is done to treat PCOS itself.

Sadly, the most common way doctors attack this situation is by prescribing birth control pills. I?ve tried it once and yes, gumanda skin ko. Nawala ang pimples and oilyness. But I did some readings and discovered that taking hormonal pills has a lot of side effects too. I got scared so I stopped taking it as soon as I finished one pack of BCP.

Now, I?m still suffering from hormonal pimples and I went to a derma a week ago to have it treated. I?m learning to accept na every month talaga, before I get my period, may pimples na mag-aappear. What?s important to me is that it won?t leave scars para my skin looks good parin pag mag heal na ang pimples.

I'd really want to up my skin care but I don't know what to get. I'm a soap and water kind of girl lang. Micellar Water pang remove ng make up, tapos cetaphil na facial cleanser.
I check out sites like Ulta pero, baka hindi same ang effect for me iba ang weather sa ibang bansa etc.
Has anyone tried : Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater? My skin is relatively oily pero di naman lechon mode. Slightly open din pores ko, pero di naman ma acne. Baka may katulad ako ng skin type na gumagamit ng ganto.

Also, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream? Ok ba? Gusto ko sana malaman feedback ng mga nakagamit na. Para di sayang ang pera.   Ang mahal kasi.

^mga sis, I share the same sentiment with you. Left cheek ko, wala din pimple. Laging sa right lang. Dadaan yung wala talaga, as in marks na lang, tapos biglang magkakaron.

^^ sis, your choice of brands talagang medyo mahal nga.. and there?s no guarantee na magiging hiyang ka sa mga products na yun. If you?re willing to spend that amount for skincare products, I suggest go to a derma instead and buy products from them. The toner I bought from the derma is 300, the cream is 400 pesos. Yes medyo maliit sila but at least, nagwowork. May isa na di masyadong effective sakin (facial wash)pero at least it?s not worth thousands of pesos.

Super love ko rin ang clindamycin. I know hindi siya dapat palagi gamitin kasi pwede masanay ang skin. Since, medyo nag lay low na ang acne ko. I just use it when may mga active lang. I also use epiduo na cream medyo pricey siya pero I just used it pag need lang talaga.
