sa weekdays po, as early as 6am. pag weekends, 7am po.
Hmm.. actually girl, wala silang group classes sa umaga,,which is sad kasi sa uaga lang ako available para mag-gym, pero i think magkakaroon narin

Might enroll before end of the month or early next month with GG. Pero malamang Wilson/Greenhills branch ako maggym, yun kasi pinaka-accessible for me.

Tom last day na ng promo nila for the 1 year unlimited +4 months free. It'll be a bit higher sa August. I'm already from GG Timog but will sign up for New Manila as I live there. I hope this opens sa November nga, but GG is notorious for late openings so mukang next year na ito.

May another 100 slots nag open ulit for the original promo price nun July of Golds Gym New Manila! This august medyo nagtaas na kasi ang prices. My New Manila Golds Gym membership consultant said it's because their sales were so brisk last month and dahil din daw sa recent baha (whatever that means!). Swerte for me cos I missed out signing up non July, so happy ako naka habol ako this week. If any of you are interested you can go to Golds Gym New Manila, it's the new building sa corner of Hemady and E. rodriguez St. across from Red Ribbon. Along Hemady st. may parking and you'll see signage ng Golds gym, the m.c.'s you'll see there sa open area/lobby ng building, may Ersao din here. Nag pa tour ako ng site nila kanina, it's going to be on 3-4 floors, the interiors are not yet finished. Their target opening is second week of November, sana matuloy mag open. PM me I'll refer you to my membership consultant or mc.

For a straight guy, parang nakakatakot mag GG. I've heard stories lalo na pag common shower area. It's like prison i tell ya!

^^ Hi sis! My take on your queries:

1. I am only after a simple program. I just want to use the elliptical and go to some classes to break the monotony (yoga class, zumba, striptease, belly, etc.). How many elliptical machines does either branch have?

In Intercon, which is smaller I think there are only 3. In Glorietta, there are lots. Im a frequent GG Glorietta goer by the way since 2009

2. Having pool use is a plus because I love to swim.

3. Secure lockers. I heard theft is rampant in GG. Has anyone personally experienced this? Is it more rampant in certain branches only?

You have to bring your own padlock sis. I havent experienced anything like that except 1 time, I left my blackberry inside the locker room. But when I called them, the maintenance girl gave it to me back. I gave them chocolate cake and from then on, the staff are all nice to me na and say hello.

4. Does GG have something similar to "Cinefit" of FF? It's a mini-theater with gym equipment instead of seats.

-- None at Glorietta. Only TVs  No need. There are lots of "eye candies" roaming around and youll get busy looking at them. hehe

5. What advantages/disadvantages can you share about Glorietta branch and Intercon branch?

Intercon is much smaller. Limited machines and mostly just free weights. Limited classes too. In Glorietta, its bigger with all the equipments you can use. Plus more group classes to boot.

^^ Noted. That's why I go to my neighborhood gym. The spotter there doubles as a bouncer at night. Hahahaha. GG and FF are now the hangout spots of Paminta's. You can't really lift properly if another dude is oggling you. It's just plain creepy  .

^ agree my bf has had his fair share of creepy encounters with the pamintas and not-so-pamintas haha. minsan talagang they hit on him sa sauna which is super freaky.lol..may mga lines pa sa kanya sa locker/sauna na "ang sweet ng girlfriend mo no? parang ako lang..bakla nga lang.." hahaha..kinda proven,because i just met someone who admits he's actually in gold's not just to workout but to find potential partners to flirt with as well.haha..pero may mga branches naman na talagang andun yung mga tao para magwork out lang

been a member of GG since this October lang. natawa ako dun sa comment na may "eyecandies"
sa galleria, maraming celebrities. yesterday morning nakasabay ko si Eruption of Showtime, last time si Kiko Rustia, tapos marami din talagang "eyecandies" 

anyway, meron ba ditong frequent galleria goer din? para may gym buddy naman ako

*I'm currently working out at Libis branch. Who else is going there? I usually work out in the morning 7:30ish. Used my groupon voucher. So I'm looking at getting affordable rate should I decide to get the 1 yr membership.
