Nakakainspire naman kayo mga sissies! thanks for sharing! mukang madugo magcalculate ng net worth pero ill try to do mine. im on my late 30s na and i think wala ako sa kalingkinan ng mga net worth nyo. i also had a bad practice with money before and mga unexpected gastos here and there & ngayon pa lang talaga ako nakakapg start magipon and invest my money. me and hubby also try to live simply & within our means. boring nga eh pero mas okay na yun as long as we can save and invest. eto naman ang mas impt. to build our future & delaying gratification muna. lalo na ngayon we have a 1 yr old baby na.

If kaya, I suggest invest in real estate. Yun ang isa sa asset na tumataas ang value over time. Basta good location.

I remember it was around 2014 when I started tracking my net worth. My net worth back then was still 420k, I revisited my excel sheet, and I was surprised that it is now 915k. Almost there! Sana ma-achieve ko na yung coveted 7 figures in 2-3 months. But I'll definitely exceed 1M by the end of the year. Dasal lang talaga sissies. Joke! Save and invest, and live frugally (even though I sometimes splurge on clothes and food).

Just sharing: I'm mid-20 single. I tried computing my net worth using the sites mentioned here. Right now, I'm 800k (bank savings, stocks, etc.). No liabilities yet since I haven't invested on real estate / car. I'm planning to invest on those when I reach 1M. I wish I could reach the 7-digit mark before the year ends!

I hope that by 2018 we've all reached our net worth goals!

i documented my net worth journey here starting may 2014. back then it was 500k. then in january 2015,  naging 1 million na finally dahil na-inspire ako dito. spent the next two years acquiring stocks and UITFs. now it's dec 2016 na, and i have reached 3 million!  this is my personal net worth, not including hubby's.  i also did not include depreciating things like my car.

Hello! I hope you guys don't mind na binuhay ko ang thread na ito. I use it to document my progress, hold myself accountable, and get inspiration from other women who are interested in building wealth and being independent.  Kamusta na kayo?

So according to BudgetPulse, my current net worth is 4.4 million (not including my husband's), which means in increased it by around 1.4 million in 16 months. I know barya lang ang 4.4 million sa ibang tao, pero happy ako kasi simple lang naman din ang goals ko. Also I did this all on my own. Girl power! 

My goal is still to reach P10 million by 2023 at the latest, which means I have to increase my net worth by 800k a year. Pero in my mind gusto ko mas maaga pa. Sabi nga nila, shoot for the moon! Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Once again I will claim it now. It will happen. GOOD VIBES ALL AROUND!    Good luck to all of us!! I hope to hear from others about their progress!

As the saying goes, only the 1st million is the hardest! Pag na achieve mo na yun, the next millions ay madali na. Why? Kasi while earning the 1st million marami ka ng na learn na lessons, na experience na trial at errors, plus u have more to invest. U can invest  your 1st million to work for your next millions

I just decided to save 50% of my salary, sis. As in one day naisip ko, bakit ko nga ba ginagastos lahat? So basta everything that I earn, 50% agad automatically napupunta sa ibang account for investing/paying down properties.

Around this time I also became a minimalist so nabawasan talaga ang gastos.

Having a written budget helped me a lot. Dun ko nakita where my money goes. I also listened to Dave Ramsey Youtube videos-dun ko nakita yung debt snowball, building an emergency fund, paying down mortgage, etc. Eto talaga yung lightbulb moment for me: TELL YOUR MONEY WHERE TO GO INSTEAD OF WONDERING WHERE IT WENT. That's the importance of a budget.

wow. saludo ako sa inyo mga sis.
ako I am just starting to build my own and myself. Basically I am employed and receiving a minimum salary bracket.  With a family of school age child to support. so budgeting is quite a struggle. kahit gustuhin ko magsave ng half of my salary eh I can't.  In my own little way nagsisave ako kada sweldo ng 1-2k.  Lam ko wala lang yun para sa iba pero malaking bagay na iyon para sa amin.  We are living in a very frugal way.  Tiis tiis talaga kasi kailangan may maipon. kasi minsan short pa nga eh at least may madudukot.

@weng.totz Okay lang yan! It's not what you earn, it's really what you save. Napansin ko, people who save kahit gano kaliit eventually develop a habit of saving, and pag lumaki na yung income nila they are able to save even more kasi nasanay na.

Wala kami savings ng asawa ko ngayon. Pero nakabili na kami ng 3 land. Yung una namin nabili, 2 lote, hinulugan namin ng 24 months. Pagkatapos nun, bumili ulit kami ng isa pa at ginamit namin yung nauna para makakuha ng pambayad dun sa patatlo. Pagnatapos namin bayaran naman yung sa bangko, meron na kami net worth na 2M. So yung savings namin, dun na lang napupunta sa pagbabayad sa bangko.

Just posting to share an update Just mid this year, I achieved the 7-digit mark on my bank account! YEY for me! hahahah! I'm just so proud of myself since I never thought, especially when I was a college student struggling to at least save 1k per month from my monthly "baon", that I would save this much money before I reach my 30s.
Now that I'm working, I make it sure to spoil myself from time to time just to feel that I'm no longer that struggling student who saves money by eating budget meals hahaha. I always feel sorry for my old self!

My next goal is to reach 2M Let's all continue saving for the future and inspire other people!

^do you have investments ba sis? It is not just about saving it is also investing it so your money can work for you. And eventually kaht hindi ka na mag work may nakukuha kang money. Savers are losers kung hindi mo alam saan mo siya ilalagay para mag grow. Maliit lang kasi ang interest sa bank and due to inflation lumiliit na ang value ng money.

I have already mapped out my retirement, my goal is to have a passive income of 7digit per month. Kahit hindi mangyari at least 6digit is ok. Sa ngayon my passive income is around 70k per month. Wala pa dun yung income ko sa business. I have zero debt. I save pero alam ko na agad saan ko ilalagay para mag earn for me so kahit tulog ako nagkaka pera ako.

We have to be smart about our money. I am only in my 30's but i am already working towards my retirement. By 45 i can stop working but i am sure i will still be doing my business lalo na alam kong madami akong natutulungan.

^yes, sis! I have a 6-digit investment sa stocks. Di ko na sinasama sa bilang ng pera ko since matagal pa naman ako magbebenta. I?m also planning to retire ng late 30s hahaha! *fingers crossed* I still have more than a decade to prepare kaya work work work and invest pa more. kakainis lang ang train law, taas ng bilihin.

OOT: I suddenly remembered: I had a coworker na shinare ko yung goal ko to reach a million in my bank account before I get married (since we?re talking about goals in life, money, love), she told me it?s totally impossible. I didn?t bother answering. What I did was I focused on that goal, tried investing, and worked harder. Fortunately, I proved her wrong.
So, to those people struggling or discouraged by the people around them, don?t lose hope. Believe in yourself

@AvadaKedavra ah ok that's good sis. At your age aware ka na sa ganito and mahaba pa ang time mo para ma reach mo yung retirement that you are planning.

Ako kasi by 45 graduate na ng college son ko so i'm done with my responsibility. I have charities and scholars na pinag aaral so hopefully in a few years mas madami pa ako matulungan.

Regarding sharing your goals most people will not understand kasi hindi naman sila ganun mag isip. Sa akin i only shared it here sa mga kilala ko hindi kasi iba ang mentality nila when it comes to money. As much as possible they don't want to talk about it.

I feel happy and sad at the same time. Happy ako kasi nakakatuwang makabasa na posible mong ma achieved ang lahat basta focus ka sa goal mo.
Sad kasi alam kong kaya ko rin mag ipon ng 7digits given na nasa mid 20's na ako. Since bata palang ako marunong na ako mag budget.Gusto ko ng magkaroon ng milyon na ipon. Kaso ginawa kasi akong retirement fund ng mga magulang ko. Tipong allowance nalang natitira sakin. Iniisip ko nalang na isa iyon sa purpose ko sa buhay. Pero alam nyo kahit ganun, may Investment ako and savings. Malaki na investment ko 6 digits na. Gulat nga ako eh.Matik kasi kaltas sa sahod ko. Buti nalang talaga. Sissies alam kong maaachieved ko rin ang 7 digits. Matagal man pero makakamit ko ito. Aja!

^Madami talagang magulang ang ganyan ano? Nakakalungkot. Buti nga ngayon unti unti ng nababago. Nanay na ako, at kabila't kanan ang insurance at investment ang kinukuha ko. At kahit ano pang sabi ng mga tao sa paligid ko na sundan na ang anak ko. Alam namin na hindi pa namin kaya.  Sana dumami pa ang mga magulang na maisip na hindi dapat retirement plan ang anak. Meron naman akong kilala parang na compute na niya ang makukuha sa mga anak niya in the future. Kaloka.
