yup, may business kami. we also have condos, commercial spaces, houses, investments, savings kaya ganun ang net worth namin. lumakas kasi ang business at nag grow during 2004-2008, instead of spending the earnings, i chose to buy real estate which now gives me monthly income, kaya now na medyo mahina na ang orig business, ok parin bec i have monthly rentals from tenants

my parents tried their luck in real estate long long time ago (I was kid back then). they weren't lucky.

indeed, going into business is still better, but risky. one has to choose between keeping a day job or risking it all out into entrepreneurship. :-)

both real estate & business have risks, i guess im a risk taker, i made many money mistakes but thank God mas marami ang right decisions. Today, hindi na ako masyadong risk taker, less earnings, pero less risk narin...

Wow gab54! Naiinspire ako sa story mo. Ngayon goal ko rin maging worth 100M. My wife and I are still a bit young and our kids are very young rin so we still have lots of time para magawa rin namin yan. As you said "delayed gratification". Im good at that part and nagstart na rin ako maginvest sa real estate (We built a small house that my in-laws are living in and we recently bought a house that we are renting out). Id like to get into business pero I still need alot to learn kasi both my wife and I dont really know much about business. Mas mahilig ako sa real estate kasi my parents are also doing well because of real estate. Pero I really want to get into in business as well. Anyways, I hope all the sisses here get inspired by our fellow GTers and aspire for higher goals.

Inspiring thread..for me,zero kami ngayon sa savings.  si hubby, coz we just had our wedding. i bought my family a car, so dun napunta yung savings ko. Si hubs, he's still out spending for the holidays and I've just finished with my financial burdens. All of what's left with me are my jewelries and for him is his car. I'm so excited for next month's salary, that would be my starting point for saving again. We're both excited to save and hopefully, we'd be able to do it..I'm sending my bro to college, he's just on the 2nd yr. Im giving my parents and grandparents their allowances. And I'm giving allowance to my cousin who's graduating this march.. No cash with no debt, a good start I guess=)

30% liquid, naka time deposit lang
20% properties being used in business & personal
20% commercial spaces/condos being rented out
20% my orig business
10% my new business

Hi Sis! We are on the same shoes. Just had my wedding last Dec 16. May new house kami na pinagawa before the wedding sabay na sabay ang gastos sa bahay and sa wedding so lahat din ng nakuha nameng pera from the wedding binayad ko din sa utang ko for the materials sa house. Kasabay pa nito ang kapaskuhan at bagong taon kaya mega gastos pa din kami. Same with you, I am sending my sister to school as well, 2nd year pa lang din siya (2 more years!) and I am giving medicine allowance to my dad. Kaya naku super super gastos. I am sooo loooking forward to 2012 kasi start anew kami ni Hubby. As in from scratch kami start ulit

hi po, nasa real estate po pala kayo, nabasa ko yung ilang books ni Robert Kiyosaki, he said that Real Estate doesn't have to be Risky. Gusto kong malaman saang parte risky? I know risky sa parteng pera ang nakasalalay nalilito lang ako kung bakit sinabi ni Kiyosaki na hindi daw dapat maging risky ang Real Estate.

sis superbubly, im not an expert on real estate. most of what i have came from my biz of 8yrs. pero what i do is not to put all my eggs in 1 basket. since my biz gives me earnings monthly, i divided them by
- reinvest sa biz (expansion)
- invest sa real estate
- SDA/Time deposit/Savings (lower interest but safer)
- insurance
- new biz
When I say may risk sa real estate is bec sometimes u buy pre selling, afterwards hindi naman pala as u expected, or buying property na hindi mo mapakinabangan at mahirap ibenta. In my case, so far ok pa naman ang mga real estate investments ko.

sis angelajoyce, my first million? when i was still in my teens, my family was rich kasi, but everything was gone when my family became bankrupt. i gave all my personal savings to my parents hoping to save their biz pero nawala lahat. Year 2004 i started my biz w/ 10-20k, i earned my 1M the same year, afterwards direderetso na... I remember Henry Sy who said, ""Only the first Million is hard to get, after that the rest is easy."

Enough about me, back to the topic "How much is your net worth?"
