Mga sis, anong masasabi nyo sa Toyota Vios?

mura, matipid sa gas, low maintenance.. yan lang masasabi ko kasi pasahero lang naman ako..  pero kung pangpamilya hanap nyong car, esp sa mga may babies, not recommended dahil maliit..

Sis, I own a Vios 2011. So smooooth! hehe. ang sarap i-drive, pero hindi nga daw pang-pamilya, kasi maliit hehe. pero ayos narin kung ikaw ang gagamit. matipid pa sa gas

this is my company issued vehicle. okay siya di ko nauubos gas allowance ko. sarap pa idrive kasi feeling ko hindi delikado.. pangharabas car.

i think i read somewhere that it has overheating problems(?) Rather predisposed to such, coz if you take a look at the previous models that're driven as cabs, the hoods are kept ajar. ive spotted quite a few on the road and i wondered why till I read that its front grille design allegedly made it susceptible to overheat issues. Anyone can shed light or share firsthand experience on this observation? Im also eyeing a VIOS too, but 2nd hand so it's something important to be aware of.

my dad also also mentioned to me that overheating is the main problem with toyota vios and it just happened that behind us was a toyota vios taxi. my dad pointed its hood and it was slightly opened. last week i also noticed some private toyota vios cars whose hoods are slightly open.

ohh. ngayon ko lang narinig tong issue na to. Baka naman po susceptible lang yung overheating problems sa mga vios na halos mabugbog na sa gamit? hihi. sa tingin ko lang po. kasi diba yung mga taxi halos 12hrs straight ang gamit or more? yung vios ko, di ko pa naman mashadong nabubugbog kasi nga bago pa. observe ko nalang and let you know mga sisses (:

nung nabanggit nyo ang overheating issue na yan, saktong nakakita ako  ng cab kahapon na nakaangat ang hood. bago pa din yung sasakyan namin. sana wala na yung problem na yun sa model na nakuha namin. maloloka yata ako pag dumali yan ng pagooverheat na sakay ang anak ko.

myth yan mga sis about the overheating thing. the cabs that you see na naka open ang hood is mga LPG converted na.

if hindi naman sila LPG converted, yung mga taxi operators do not use coolants but instead use water. with our weather, mas mabilis syempre uminit ang makina if you use water.

kung sa private vehicles ganito din, i think they are victims of this misconception from the taxi drivers na nakikita nila and lack of information or knowledge on how to properly maintain their cars too. kung alaga naman hindi ka naman magkakaproblema e

 My husband told me na bago na ang front grille design ng bagong VIOS, tama ba? Yung mga inaangat  slightly yung hood while running, yun daw yung previous design.

I wonder though, kung totoo yang over-heating na issue na yan. Kasi nakasakay ako ng taxi na ganyan dati, and I asked the driver kung bakit sila tumatakbo na slightly open yung hood. Sabi niya napansin daw nila na mas tipid sila sa gas pag daw naka-ganon. I was like "Huh?" 

Anyway, I'm also eyeing a Vios when I replace my car or an Altis. Pero gusto ko talaga yung matipid sa gas.

if they improved the design of the front grille, then that would also help. kaya nga meron din iba nagpapalit to mesh grill para mas maganda ang pasok and ikot ng hangin...

@sis binggay: Yes sis, front grill ang bago sa 2011 Vios, eto yung sakin, kulay silver kinuha kong color kasi bagay yung grills. parang sa camry na siya:

Kaya lang, may mga 2011 model na din ang ginagawang taxi! hahaha. ang dami ko nang nakikita sa kalye.

^Sis sabi nila yung grills lang daw sa harap tsaka design ng ilaw? hahahaha di ako sigurado e, yung akin kasi 2011 na, kahit J lang siya, power windows, doors na, pero yung pinto, de-susi pa din :p

^^ baka facelifted lang yun 2011 iba grills, fogs, etc. not sure exactly what the diff is though
ganyan din kasi ginawa nila for the earlier models 2003-2005 is gen 1 then come 3rd quarter 2005, naglabas sila ng 2006 model same din naman, iba lang shape ng headlights, grills, fog lamps, tail lights.

uy may mga member din pala ng VCP dito, member din ako, , interms of vios, sobrang tipid sa gas , wala akong masabi..and sobrang lamig ng aircon which i love

^ hello same handle ko dito saka sa VCP ako yung madalas na tinatawag na "sir" dun
