Got married here last year... just to share:

Dress Code:

Wala naman dress code sa part ng entou. My gown was halter and female entou are wearing tube top gowns. Request lang nila is yung lectors and readers should wear a shawl pag turn na nila mag read. TYhough hindi nasunod din kasi sis ko and cousin ko w/c is part of the entou is kasama sa readers

Garden as Reception:

They do not allow this sisters. May mga malapit naman na venues, we had ours at Endramada

Throwing of Petals/Rice/etc

Sa loob not allowed, but sa may covered area sa paglabas mo mismo ng door ng main chapel pwede naman, though request nila minimal lang para less linis of course.

Ako din nanigurado, I reserved the chapel more than a year before my wedding. Booked it Sept 1, 2009 for December 11, 2010.

Sis, booked na yata yung December 20. Im not sure if booked na rin yung 20. And they're only open from Mon to Fri. =)

Nagdadalawang isip din ako sa endramada kasi dami add ons.. Wala pa parking space
Try nyo yung Tivoli gardens sa may coronado, nag occular nako dun and nagpapencil book, we are just considering na makakuha ng mas bigger venue since 120pax lang maximum capacity ng clubhouse ng tivoli.

^ok lang sis jo1, i discussed it with h2b. sabi nya ok lang kung gawing dec.14 ang wedding namin since yun naman ang number namin, i mean sept.14 kasi kame. we'll visit archbishop's palace on wednesday para magpa-reserve, sana meron pang dec.14 ng hapon sa pagpunta namin. sana wala pang nakakuha ng slot.

This was our first choice sa church.. Unfortunately, everytime I would call or go there, wala yung mga contact persons, I couldn't even take a peak of the small chapel.. so we gave up and thought it wasn't meant for us. our target venue then was also endramada, kaso wala talagang parking, and dami ngang add ons, isa lang yung accredited caterer yata nila, hindi pa well known..

yung penthouse ng tivoli gardens, medyo malaki rin naman siya.. my friend had her birthday there and I believe you would need a sponsor to rent the place. My mga furniture kasi silang malaki dun kaya siguro medyo maliit ang tingin ko, pero mukhang kasya naman ang 100, basta yung buffet area ay dun sa parang veranda...

^nakuha ko naman sa tyaga ang pagtawag sa church, nakausap ko si bro.alexis. ok sya kausap. bukas tatawag uli ako para magpa-schedule ng visit sa wednesday at sana makapagpa-reserve na din kame. napuntahan namin yung endramada kasi sobrang lapit lang sa amin. di namin nakita yung loob pero kahit na labas palang nakita namin di na namin nagustuhan. yung villa virginia malapit din sa amin, bukas palang namin pupuntahan. kanina h2b went to villa paciencia, kaso wala syang nakuhang rates basta mag-inquire na lang daw sa tamayo's mismo kasi yun lang ang caterer nila.

sis, may package rates ka ba ng tivoli gardens? sino ang accredited caterer nila?

^ i don't think so sis.. kasi kaya nga ako naimbyerna kasi pag hindi ko na-aabutan yung contact person dun hindi rin nila ako pinapapasok para makasilip... kainis nga eh.. not sure kung open sila ng saturday.. sabi nila till 4:30 daw yung office, dumating kami dun ng 4pm, nakauwi na raw sino bro alexis.. kaya hindi na kami pinapasok..

^mon-fri lang sila eh. tama ka din na kahit 30 mins earlier ka pa tumawag o magpunta wala na agad sila, kahit sa umaga ganun din. kaya dapat in between their schedules kayo magpunta o tumawag.

update ko lang kayo sa naging lakad namin kanina ni h2b. at last we've already booked our wedding date, nakapagbayad na din kame ng P500 para sa reservation fee. nakapagtanong na din kame ng details about this chapel at nakapagtingin sa buong area.

SMALL CHAPEL - maganda, tahimik, made of wood lahat at parang makaluma yung altar at window pero may class naman at hindi yung old and ugly ang dating. sarado man o bukas yung mga bintana ang ganda sa loob ng chapel. gusto namin ni h2b dito pero problem namin para sa matatanda sa family na hirap na umakyat sa hagdan. why, kasi nasa 2nd floor ito at makipot ang stairs paakyat at walang bonggang door na papasukan at isle na lalakaran. when you enter the door, stairs na agad, at pagpanhik sa 2nd floor a few steps lang altar na. very good para sa intimate wedding talaga sana.

BIG CHAPEL - maaliwalas sa loob kasi white ang pintura sa loob at labas, malalaki ang window na kitang-kita ang garden, naka-tiles ang floor, maluwag sa loob, aircon, maganda din ang altar, paikot ang guests' chairs sa altar, i mean pahalang at hindi pahaba ang arrangement ng chairs so walang uupo sa malalayong part. ito ang binook namin kasi pwede ako maglakad from garden to the chapel, maganda yung view in and out of the chapel, mas malaki ang capacity at hindi na aakyat sa hagdan.

^BIG Chapel: gandang backdrop nung mga gold-topped columns sa mga photos online... and kahit medyo maliit yung altar, it seems pwede mag- biggroup shots without squeezing together too much... if your bridal march starts at the garden, pati ba floral arrangements ganun din? kumbaga to line your path? i'm trying to visualize kasi
