Surigao and Siargao

Been to Tinuy-an Falls sa Bislig Surigao then Enchanted river sa Hinatuan. From Davao nag bus ako then motor. That was the longest motorycle ride ever! Ansaket sa pwet. Pero ansaya. Sa tinuy an ako natulog may inn sila then the next day Enchanted river and visited the Brittania Beach. Worth it naman talaga.

yeah me too, whats in GL? Thats where we just buy our supplies like drinks and bread.  We stayed in wayfarer in cloud 9 this time.  Its ok for the price, the cheapest one around cloud 9 but then there's no staff to help you and its just the owner who runs the place.  ok siya for the sprung bed, hot and cold shower, location and the price.  I wouldn't stay here again because aside from no staff to assist you, the pillows and the blanket have weird smell thus us not using them the entire stay, the toilet has stains and smells too, fan's dusty, air con's very noisy, no restaurant and the owner's kinda negative about everything when you do talk to him.

Sayak terminal fee is now 100 per person.

I've been meaning to go to sohoton for 3 years now.  I just find the whole trip a bit expensive for just 2 pax since its always just my bf and I when traveling to siargao. I'm hoping to visit it next time we're back in siargao and hopefully I'll be able to find a way traveling there at a cost good enough for us

hello mga sis. i'm planning trip surigao. i'm hoping to go to siargao, cloud 9 and bucas grande, and to surigao sur to experience the Enchanted river. yung sa enchanted river, pwede kaya day trip lang dun?
plan ko, book ticket manila to siargao, stay at cloud 9 (to surf and island hopping), then go to bucas grande (megatour). From Socorro, go to surigao city. stay there for a few days (we have relatives here kasi), then go to Enchanted river then to manila. if mas malapit, we'll fly from butuan to manila na lang.

ok na kaya to or do you have suggestions po?

i'm wishing to go back to Bucas Grande for summer nxt year. Super love the place, a great escape sa stress and sa ma trapik, crowded at mausok na city.

Contrasting ang view going to the port, in the left side ang ganda ng dagat while sa right side kalbo ang kagubatan because of mining.

Any recommended boatman for siargao island hopping (naked island, etc)?
Any idea magkano? Pati for magpupungko? Tia

just got back from surigao trip. from butuan to surigao del sur to surigao del norte then back to butuan. unfortunately, wala na kameng time for siargao. next time nalang.

Closed, as in no swimming allowed, ang enchanted river since dec 28 kasi nagkalandslide sa area where the cottages are. Pwede mag-picture taking lang. ang sabi ng caretaker one month pa daw isasara.

we also went to Tinuy-an falls. unfortunately since it was raining, lahar ang itsura ng falls.

we enjoyed our activities in sohoton. We recommend our boatman Kuya Butet Rosillo - mura lang ang package nya. 09092725355.

Aside from surfing, maganda rin their beaches on some of their small islands. Sa main island of Siargao there is one beach an hour away from Cloud 9 called Magpupungko beach. You can also find the disappearing natural pools in this area.

As to resorts, marami along Cloud 9 depende na lang sa budget mo. Hubby and I stayed at Kalinaw Resort.

 

Hubby and I are planning to go back to Siargao later in the year. Has anybody stayed at Dedon Island (the former Pansukian Resort)?

Ano na ang mga going rates for island hopping?

Hi sisses, would like to ask you help. Already booked our trip last year pa. Ito bale iyong pupuntahan namen Surigao del sur-CDO (March 12-14, 2015). Below is our itinerary:

Day 1: Entry point is Davao; ETA: 5:30AM. Diretso bus travel na kami to Surigao del sur (roughly 6hrs daw byahe). Pupuntahan namen is Tinuy-an Falls then International Doll house.

Day 2: 5AM - Byahe going to Enchanted River, 6AM daw open ng enchanted river then until 9AM kame dun tapos 3hrs island hopping. (Sulitin namen since sobrang hectic ang sched)

Day 3: CDO - If madaling araw kame makakarating ng CDO, we would like to experience their night market then 8am WWR (beginners lang kukunin namen which is good for 3hrs) then Flight back to manila is 4:30PM


Balak namen, hapon (mga 5pm) ng Day 2 is travel to CDO (Surigao del sur-Butuan-CDO). Kakayanin ba ng oras namen iyong mga pupuntahan namen. Meron po bang bus travel na night going to CDO? Di ba kame magagahol ng oras going to CDO airport? By the way, entry point is Davao then Exit point is CDO since iyun yung airport na nabook namen.

@mama squeak, if you'll be staying at dedon, the trips are included already just let them know where you plan to go and what you plan to do ahead of time. dont forget to ask for their carrot cake, its THE best!

^Wow really? That's good to know. Thanks sis! We plan to visit some of the islands we missed the last time we were there and go back to Magpupungko beach. But we might move our trip there for next year's anniversary trip since we plan to go to Bhutan later in the year.

May nakagawa na ba ng surigao del sur, siargao and bucas grande? Eto sana gusto ko.. May nakita ko na blog na nagawa nya to with 5k na budget tapos in 4 days lang.. Pero hindi kasi detailed so sana may magshare ng itinerary and expenses.. 2 tao lang kasi kami kaya alam ko mas magastos

Kung hindi kaya, can someone share their itinerary for 3 days 2 nights na sulit talaga and also the expenses. Thanks
