Surigao and Siargao

Hi my dear sissies! I have a trip to Surigao this coming Sept. 18 - 22 together with my 2 friends. Please help me with our itinerary since i can't find a detailed one that i can follow with regards to our sched. Will be arriving after lunch ata and then leaving early MNL - SUG- MNL. I dont have any idea where to stay and ang problema ko talaga e yung habal habal takot ako dun if that is the motorcycle  baka some of you know how i can get to point A to point B without riding that takot ako ma aksidente talaga  I'm thinking of doing the ff:

Day 1: Surigao - arriving around 1pm - Stay where? what to do after checking in? (city tour) eat where?

Day 2: Bucas Grande via Hayanggabon - go to Surigao terminal and ride the bus to Hayanggabon (p200@) - Haggle with the manong boatman for the tour there. allot how much for this? and do you suggest we stay overnight? saan po kaya?

Day 3: Siargao - Paano pala ako makakapunta ng Siargao from Bucas Grande? Boat din? Should i make prior arrangements with the boatman we rented out? Magkano ang price range pagka ganito po?
- Arrive in Siargao - travel to General Luna (any other transpo rather than a habal habal?)
Stay where? will check cloud 9 =)

Day 4: Stay in Siargao or go back to Surigao? How many hours po ang travel time?

Day 5: Back to manila

we have tickets na na surigao-mla.abangnalangng either mla-surigaoormanil-butuan.kapagbasa butuan kamiilang days ang i-aallot ko sa vacation na ito? kaya ba ng 4 days or 3 days ang mla-butuan-surigao-siargao-mmla? yung daku at guyam islands kasi talaga ang target ko

Hi mga sis! Im planning to go back to Siargao next year (c/o Cebpac P7 fare) thru Bxu but this time i want to go to the enchanted river and tinny-an falls first before heading to Siargao. May van ba na bare rent for this? Butuan- Enchanted river- tinuy-an falls- Surigao? Baka may alam kayo let me know please!!

Hello mga sis! Ive been told about a Cebu-Sayak/Siargao flight which is also a viable option rather than a Butuan-Surigao since this will definitely take longer. Has anyone tried this route? Im from Manila and I even love to do a side trip to Cebu kahit one day gala lang. Bihira ba ang promo fares for Cebu-Siargao?

^nag sale ang cebu pac nung weekend, siargao-cebu, Php 1,100+ for 2.  gusto ko na sanang i-book 'to then hanap ng cebu to manila.  kaso naisip ko pano kung delayed ang flight, patay na. so tyaga na lang siguro ko sa paghanap ng butuan to manila or surigao-cebu-manila.

any updated itinerary for S&S?
medyo confused ako sa directions if we want to go to Bucas Grande for the jellyfish swimming - ano ba best na route:
A. Surigao - Siargao (beaches sa Gen. Luna) - Bucas Grande - Surigao?
OR
B. Surigao - Bucas Grande - Siargao - Surigao?

take in to consideration na 5 days maximum lang yung allotted days for the whole S&S trip

di ko alam best route, pero laging if the weather and waves permit ang drama ng bucas grande - kaya go for it agad pag cooperative ang mga ito.

btw, hindi laging season ng stingless jellyfish. namamatay daw kasi sila pag panahon na ng bagyo. di ba kakatapos lang ng Pablo dun sa mindandao.

anyway, kahit to follow na ang surifing sa cloud 9 at beaches ng dako at naked..

Sa May or June pa naman ang balak namen if ever kase abangers pa muna kame ng flight ng airphil to surigao. Hopefully kahet one way lang na disocunted makakuha kame.
May bu-bucas grande na lang muna kame bago mag General Luna.

Sohoton tour + 3 islands (Dako, Guyam and Naked) - 8,000 (09308028704 - i suggest you ask the mamang tour guide to include snorkels and other entrance fees, magulo sya kausap e, sabi nya kasama na lahat tapos sinisingil pa nya kami ng entrance fees, wala pang snorkels samantalang i made it clear the day before na dapat meron, oo daw pero wala. Better yet find another boatman)
Overnight stay in Socorro - 600
Food for the day - 1,215 (Kasama sila manong sa food, di naman ako nagdadamot but sana nalaman ko ahead of time na kailangan ko sila isama sa food budget, the whole day ha hanggang dinner kahit tapos na yung tour. kinulang yung food na nabili namin tuloy, ba yan! LOL)

Day 3: Socorro to Siargao
Went island Hopping Dako, Guyam and Naked. Enjoy namin ang naked so nognog and friends kami. The boat dropped us off in GL after.
Accom (forgot the name, it wasn't beach front and it has a restaurant so ok na kami don, cheap lang, tag tipid eh) - 800
Lunch - 406
Trike to Cloud 9 - 30 (swerte lang may dumaan, kukuha daw kasi sila ng kahoy)
Stayed in Cloud 9 for hours watching the waves and the surfers (enjoy ang mga frineds kong mga beki)
Eto na ang kinakatakot kong HABAL HABAL - 75 (i had no choice but to ride it, i was hanging on for dear life the whole time from Cloud 9 to where we were staying)
Dinner at the Boulevard (walking distance) - food and soda + beer = 290 bongga!

Day 4: Magpopongco natural pool (THUMBS UP!)
Since we didn't have anything planned for the day and i didn't had much time researching for this trip we asked around na lang, punta daw kami sa Magpopongco so ok go! They have a motorbike for rent so sige sugal ulit ako with my friends, this time they were the ones driving so mas kampante ako. Mali namin we didnt ask how far, ayun it took us 2hours per way going there haha! ang layo! but definitely worth it!! You can hire a tricycle basta arrange lang ahead of time like a day before ata.

Day 5: Siargao to Surigao to Manila

off to Surigao on Jan. 16-19 via Air Phil. tsk, ang late ng alis, 11AM so dating kami ng 12:40pm - any suggestion mga sis if mag overnight kami sa surigao city or biyahe na ba agad pa socorro?

wala pa ako kahit anong booking ng accommodation/tour.

here's my Plan IT:

Day 1: ETA : Jan. 16, 12:40 PM - check in on some INN,
                        3PM Mabau pebble beach

DAy 2: going to socorro (what time po kaya biyahe pa socorro?), check in tapos diretso na agad ng Bucas Grande

Day 3: off to BUtuan  for Tinuy-ann Falls and Enchanted River (kaya kaya ng 1 day to?)

Day 4: 1:00PM kasi yung flight back from Surigao Manila - (masyado kasi akong na excite mag book ng airline, dapat pala Butuan na ang flight back to Manila)


if this is our IT, any suggestion where to stay ng Day 3? thank you so much mga sis!

thanks sis naughtybrat! finally nakakuha nako ng Butuan-Manila flight via Airphil.  bali lumalabas na airfare namin is around Php 2,300 per person RT.  not bad na rin siguro.  sana may makuha akong murang mga accommodation.  worry ko kasi holy week ang trip namin baka super mahal na ng mga room rates...

Gurls, anyone here planning a trip to cover Siargao Is., Bucas Grande Is., and Bislig (Tinuy-an FAlls)/ Hinatuan for the Enchanted River around May or June of this year? Im trying to organize a backpacking trip but I think we're better off joining another group as well. Mga 4-5 kami sa group. The plan is to take the Mla-Butuan route. Kindly send me a PM or thru this thread. Thanks
