Fun weekend (and expensive) at Surigao
We took the MLA-Butuan, Butuan-Manila route, kasi ang mahal ng tickets to Surigao. Bihira mag seatsale, and some ended up getting 5 to 7k tickets

From butuan, immediately pag labas mo ng plane, andon na yun conveyor belt where you will get your baggages. A porter (hindi free ha) will help you. We thought at first wow ganda ng service yun pala may bayad
The porter will take you to the private van (swertehan, kung aircon mahina, iba walang aircon pero since mabilis yun patakbo ng van, may hangin pero magulo sa buhok,, i suggest bringing a shawl/scarf to wrap your hair). We paid 200 each (7 kami, and may kasama pa kaming iba sa van). the ride took us approx 2.5 hours
from there, the van took us to Surigao Bus terminal. We ate there kasi gutom na kami, food naman is cheap, busog na ako at a 70pesos meal
There we rented a non-airconed van, 200 pesos again, to take us to Hayanggabon Port
** Hayanggabon port is midway from Surigao Airport and Butuan airport. You may want to take that into consideration when you hire a van. Kami kasi we need to meet up the friends who took the Surigao flight e, so konting hassle and sayang sa oras
Hayanggabon Port to Club Tara: 45 minutes, 15000 (haggled to 1400) for the boat. 200/pax
Expensive siya kasi we hired na the boat, and per way ang singil nya. So ride pauwi from club tara to hayanggabon, another 200
I suggest you make a deal na sa mga vans and boats. Para sila na yun palagi nyong transpo. The manong who took us to hayanggabon was the one who also took us back to the bus terminal. Kaso he charged us more kasi matagal nya kami inantay and he cannot go back to the pila (taga)
the 2nd day/trip: we spent overall about 500pesos per person (group of 11) for the boat rides and all the trips: sohoton, jellyfish, tikitan, caves( crystal, bulitas) etc. Super natuwa ako sa cliff diving kasi nagawa ko sya, although, super nginig yun knees ko sa takot nung tatalon palang ako.
sa jellyfish pala, NOT all bangkeros will allow you to go down from the bangka and swim ha. Kami sa group namin, only 3 bangkeros allowed us, so only 3 of us were able to SWIM with the jellies. It's great. Never in my life naisip ko to swim with jellies (non-sting, nevertheless)
I spent about 8-9k for the trip ( club tara accomod with food included, airfare, vans, trip, pasalubong)
