Dream destination. I've been planning to vacation here since 2008. I need to go to Siargao soooon!

i've been to Surigao and Siargao this summer lang. Taga Surigao kasi father ko,so sa relatives kami nagstay dun. wala naman masyado tourist spot dun,so ok lang kung s Siargao na dumiretso.may direct flights naman pal and cebupac to Siargao.

sa accomodations naman sa Siargao,marami resort dun.may high end tapos may pang budget din pero depende kung anong season ka pupunta.

Madami activities pwede gawin dun sa Siargao pero yung pinaka na enjoy namin dun e island hoping. paradise! mawawala pagod mo and dead ma kahit sobrang init.

Kakasign-in ko lang ulit sa traveling. Hindi na kasi ako makahintay ng November.

Dream ko din pumunta sa Siargao for surfing. Naghahanap din po ako ng maaasahang accomodation with package. Nababasa ko sa mga naka-post na resorts nasa mga 6k ang 3d2n or 4d3n pag nakakahanap ako sa Google. Not sure lang po kasi makalimutin ako  . Angdami kasi.

May nabasa akong article about Patrick's. Bad service daw sila.

Pero sana lang after halloween may confirmed plan na ako sa Siargao.

Mla - Siargao flight >> mondays and fridays lang.
Mla - Surigao >> may flight everyday
from Surigao you can go na din to Siargao by boat.. 2 hours ang travel time from Surigao City to Siargao Island. May trip sa umaga and may trip din  at noon

if you plan to go to Siargao during 'Ber' months,i would suggest a plane ride direct to Siargao na lang.

Kasi if mag Surigao muna tapos boat or RoRo to Siargao,for me nakakatakot kasi MALALAKI ang alon during these 'ber' months.

unless you're the adventurous type. safe naman pero madali kasi ako mahilo pag nag travel by sea.

What happened to the other Siargao thread? Marami ng tips na nabigay dun. I got some of my DIY tips from there pa nga.

Anyway, went to Siargao last July 2009 via Cebu. We spent a week there and stayed at Kalinaw Resort. Wonderful resort! Hubby and I took it easy lang. We rented a bike to go around the island (Php350/day). We also went to Magpupungko beach that's where you can find the natural rock swimming holes (only visible during low tide).
Then we went island hopping. Ang di lang namin napuntahan that time was Sohoton Lagoon kasi tinamad na kami and we just wanted to laze around and vegetate.

so true maalon talaga! atsaka nakakapagod kasi super haba ng biyahe! much better talaga na direct flight para hindi din nagmamadali

you can go to Siargao without a planned itinerary. if madami kayo, hire a multicab tapos ask na lang kayo sa driver saan maganda pumunta. tapos ikot ikot na lang kayo. don't worry in siargao, mababait ang mga tao dun and super mura ng food.

about 6 years ago, i traveled to siargao alone kasi i fell in love with the place and surfing. i stayed there for a week all by myself.

me naman,i wasnt able to go to Sohoton cave,kasi naman ang travel time,3 hrs from Siargao on a pump boat.. eh nung island hopping pa lang,hilo na ako..

although it's popular attraction mostly to foreigners
there's a portion there when you need to swim/dive to reach a cave 

still i think it's worth it sa mga adventour-seeking tourists
