Christening gowns/dress for babies

^ our christening gown is also going to be an heirloom piece because that's what my mom wants. My brother's daughter used it na 4 years ago, my baby will use it in january and my sister's daughter will use it in feb. My mom wants the babies' names and birthdates embroidered sa inner lining.

It's pina-silk with basic shapes, moons and stars na embroidery para unisex. we store it lang in a big ziploc bag. Handwash lang before and after each use. Never dry clean because pina gets brittle pag ganon.

thanks sis clueless.. the bag that came with my christening gown was accidentally thrown away by the househelp. yun na pala yun. will buy a big ziplock bag that can fit the gown.

marami nga ako nakita sa Rustan's... super ganda parang wedding gown na ang beading at embroidery nya! Gusto ko sana bilhin na nun kaso we didnt know kung girl or boy si baby so ayaw pumayag ni hubby. Eh ngayon, overseas na ulit kami so sino bibili nun... I dont trust my Mom's taste lol

I've emailed Veluz but she hasnt replied yet. Basta gusto ko pina gown tapos maraming beading at burda...

for my eldest, i bought from rustan's, that was 8 years ago. tinago ko for future use. for my daughter naman, it was given by my aunt from the US and tinago ko din. balak ko ipamana sa mga magiging apo ko

My daughter is getting baptized on the day of her first birthday. It's been harder to find a nice christening gown for a 1 year old. I went to Rustan's and fell in love with a lace dress, but it was 6K! Ngeks. Other gowns were on sale for 1,500, pretty nice na, BUT she will never wear it again.

I ended up buying a white dress (reasonably nice) from 168, 250 pesos only. She will wear it for the 20 minutes of her baptism before changing into the dress for her party.

Meron ba kayo alam na nagtatahi ng pambinyag ng baby?dami choices sa kung saan saang mall pero kahit nakalagay good for 0 to 6mos still malaki pa rin, I want sana yung fit, not fit na fit, gusto ko sana magpatahi hehe, may ganun b?

2months old lang nung pinabinyagan namin si baby and like you mga sis naghanap din muna kami ng ready made na gown/dress na isusuot ni baby at unfortunately wala kami nakita na swak sa taste at  budget namin kaya naghanap ako ng simpleng design sa inet tapos yun yung pinagaya ko sa mananahi.

yung sa baby ko sa Periwinkle namin binili.. nasa 2k ang price.. sobrang saglit lang nagamit wala pang 30 mins! hahah! pero its ok

Gercel sent me pics of the baptismal gowns they do and she gave me a quote of 25k pesos sa gown na napili ko. Hubby wants more burda burda so Gercel's still asking Veluz kung how much additional cost kung mas marami pang burda. eventhough marami na syang burda to begin with maarte lang si hubs!

Sis, pashare naman pic ng gown i like that idea.. yun nga rin hinahanap ko yung unisex baka magkababy pa ako ng girl magamit pa niya.. kaso di ko alam kung ano ba ang pang unisex..
