I wish the telecom companies would shorten the lock-in period for their DSL and telephone services, ang tagal e, it's usually a minimum of 2 years. Hassle when you're renting and you have to move tapos hindi pa tapos yung lock-in period, ang laki pa naman ng pre-termination fee. Pag nicompute mo yung penalties e lumalabas na binayaran mo yung monthly charges until the end of the lock-in period kahit di mo na gagamitin.

Update on smart bro. It was very slow sa dati naming location (valenzuela). then we recently transferred to ortigas. Based on the technician who transferred our antenna baka daw overloaded na yung server sa lumang location namin kaya mabagal na.
Now dito sa bago naming house we get the max 1.5mbps on our plan 999. What sucks is the Fair usage policy. bago mag end of the month nasa .5mpbs na lang ans speed namin because weve already consumed the 15gb allowance. That FUP should be abolished

Ang sad naman yang fair usage policy na yan... After a few weeks or days of downloading stuff and watching videos online at decent speeds e bigla na lang babagal yung internet. Bummer

What's the best dsl connection kaya sa newport city in pasay? Both my globe and smart lte plans, ang babagal, madedeads ka sa inis

okay naman yung globe ko dati until last year yata, aba bigla na lang bumagal like hindi na makaopen ng safari kahit ilang beses itawag, kaya nag apply ako ng smart, wow ganun din.. Dumami na kasi mga condo sa area $:-\$

Please help me, smartbro kami, lagro area nasira ang line nila for a week na customer service nila off nila. Punta ako smart pinasa nila pldt, contact ako pldt wala account ko sa kanila dahil smart pa rin, even twitter & FB nagtutiruan sila sa account ko para ma discontinue

So far stable ang PLDT DSL sa Sampaloc. Nasa 2 mbps para sa plan 1299.

@biggal: If nagtuturuan pa rin sila hanggang ngayon and hindi pa rin resolved yung issue, maybe you can try getting in touch with the NTC and DTI to complain and have it resolved. Pati simpleng pag discontinue ng service e pinapahirapan pa nila customers, ano ba yan...

best dsl connection sa valenzuela?

pldt dsl kami for 8 years sa caloocan. Wala naman kami naging prob sa connection, 999 for 3mbps. kaso lumipat na kami and its been a month wala parin yung pldt na pinatransfer namin.

^^ I'm in the MCU area and using Bayantel. 350mb na movie, pinakamabilis na yun 15 min download. I haven't tested it at all hours, though. Sa gabi ako usually may time to do this pero consistent naman yun connection.

^^marulas lang kami sis. near fatima. kayo ba sis? yes sis super follow up kami. nakakainis na nga ang pldt. Sa bayantel daw 3-5 days lang makakabitan na. kaso mamaya pag nagpakabit kami ng bayantel bigal namang dumating yung pldt.

near mcu lang din kami dati and hindi namn ganun kalayo yung pinaglipatan namin.

^ yun bundled ang phone and internet, P1499. May bayantel phone muna kasi kami and then smartbro canopy. Nung nag-expire na yun smartbro, gusto namin sky broadband pero di available sa area at PLDT naman weeks pa before they can install. Ayun, nauwi sa Bayantel. Satisfied so far.

^^nako sis todo reklamo na kami. wala naman silang action! sabi nila 2 to 3 weeks lang daw. pero grabe ha! anong week na! haha

Mas mahal pa pala ang pldt. 1800+ din monthly namin sa pldt 1500 lang pala sa bayantel.

We're paying 3995 for 15mbps connection.
comes with Globe Tattoo Postpaid pocket wifi w/40 hrs surfing, free calls to Globe/TM, wireless router, etc..

Mabilis naman hehe ang mahal kaya binabayaran namin hayyy

so far satisfied na kami sa PLDT fibr. We only pay 1700/month never pa naka experience ng pagkabagal at disconnection.

We're using Sky Broadband and I can say that it's really good! Laging mabilis ang connection any time of the day and when we're watching videos, hindi talaga nagbbuffer
