In terms of connection, PLDT ang pinaka-OK for me kaso nakakainis ang customer service nila. Nagulat nga ako dahil ang sabi nila ngayon in 48hrs makakabitan ka na, dati kasi 24hrs yun. Pero kahit pa, isang malaking kalokohan yan, ang tagal bago makabitan. Bayad na kami nun ng initial cash out, pero ako pa nangulit sa office nila para pumunta na yung magkakabit sa bahay. Pag may technical probs naman, more than 20x ata kaming tumatawag sa kanila bago talaga umaksyon. Minsan inabot ng ilang months bago pumunta technician nila sa bahay, my goodness.

i have two dsl lines.. Globe 1mbps and Bayantel 5mbps
mas mabilis pa ang Globe  mas mura pa..
ang Globe 1,200 lang ang Bayantel 4,999

So far, haven't encountered any serious inconveniences with PLDT DSL when we moved here to Cubao. So for now, I'm sticking to them.

But honestly, I really, really want to try Sky Broadband.

Very loyal to smartbro but we cannot take the slow internet connection anymore. Gusto pa advacne ang bayad lagi at madelay lang yata ng isang araw, tawag na ng tawag. Eh ayaw naman nila ayusin yung connection namin. We even went to the center para magpapunta ng technician samin. 24 hrs tatawag daw PERO mga 2 months na, wala pa din. Di naman dsl yun pero still, parang dial up lang kami, i think. Kaya now we changed to globe dsl.. Wala pa kasi pldt samin. But ang bilis super ng globe!

Magtake efect na ba yung fair user policy ng smartbro? Yung may capping na ng bandwidth every month.  Pag sumobra na doon sa capping na allocation, automatic banagal ang internet.  Merong petition at mga complaints online sa fair usage policy.

globe in las pinas i tried. it's slow. I also tried smartbro not good. PLDT DSL so far is the best. did not try cablelink.

yung fair usage policy na ba yan para sa mga Broadband/3G/4G lang? How about sa DSL PLDT may ganito din ba ipapatupad?

May FUP ang globe. 5gig per day para sa 2mbps connection.

Crossing my fingers tight that PLDT won't be jumping on the bandwagon and implement that Fair Usage Policy. I don't really browse the internet much, but I download a whole lot (mainly through torrents), so it's going to be a big blow to me. And it's not even fair. I subscribe to a high mbps because I mainly utilize the internet for heavy use, so what's the purpose of paying higher if they're going to reduce my download speed? They're the ones offering different levels of mbps, so we should be getting the very speed that we paid for.

 I dont know if sa modem lang to pero kaninang tanghali medyo mabagal din connection ko unlike nung mga nakaraan, so i unplugged it muna for a minute tapos plinug ko ulit. Mabilis na ulit.

we applied online 2 weeks ago and pumunta rin kami sa PLDT sa SM southmall and kahapon lang dumating tech nila and nakabit na. okay na yung ineternet connection before they left yesterday. we got PLDT's Fibr up to 8mbps, okay naman. gamit namin dati wi-tribe.
