Sky is ok except when it rains a little hard (even not in our area), we lose signal most times.

And pldt has better speed, so we switched.

^ ah, that's the problem with wireless connections, any wireless network has that problem.

@pinkk is right, depende kasi sa location. like in my case, bihira lang ako magkaproblem sa PLDT naman, pero sa area namin yung mga Globe subscribers ang pumapalpak.

yun lang, like you di ko rin gusto ang CS ng PLDT. nakaka frustrate rin silang kausap.

^ kundi naman iinit talaga ulo ko... CS on the phone is aware of my problem na di compatible yung modem nila sa security cam ko. Sila na nagsabi... Tapos ang gusto nilang gawin ko is pumunta sa business center to request for another brand/model of modem. Sabi ko nga, why cant they make a report/work order in my behalf since alam na sila yung issue. Di daw nila ginagawa yun.  Wow. Pahirapan pa ang customer.

So i said i want to terminate my subscription nalang na 1 week old palang. Ayun, pupunta nga rin daw ako sa business center to do that, and also pay 3 months ng plan for penalty.

Eto pa pala, i also subscribed for the "mobile" wifi thingy. Forgot the term/name eh. Basta P150 monthly, na pwede ka mag hookup sa internet nila sa mga malls/stores/resto.

Follow-up ko sana pero im afraid of the 2 words nga: business center! Na walang malapit sa amin! Naman!

So to those potential subcribers of pldt mydsl, please be aware. Or Siguro minalas lang talaga ako sa security cam issue ko.

any feedback on pldt and globe dsl? those are the options that we have sa condo in pinaglabanan, san juan. we're located in new manila and ok naman pldt all these years.

in your experience in applying for a pldt dsl, gaano katagal bago may magpuntang technician sa inyo? its been more than a month since nag apply ako wala pa ding feedback if makakabitan ba kami or not. ganun ba talaga katagal? ichecheck pa daw ng nasa area yung cable facilities pero more than a month na wala pa ding nagvivisit sa amin or kahit anong feedback man lang.

pangit din ang experience ko sa CS ng PLDT kaya pinaputol ko. mas ok na sa akin ang bayantel dsl. medyo nagiging worst nga lang habang tumatagal. sky naman before, ang gusto ko sa kanila, kapag nagdadown sila, nagrerequest ako agad ng rebate na binibigay naman nila agad. unlike pldt, pinagbabayad ka sa service na di mo naman ginamit. sa bayantel may rebate din pero kailangan 24 hours na yung problem.

sayang walang available na bayantel sa amin. sky meron pero parang nanghihinayang naman ako sa 1k per month. yun ata ang cheapest nila di ba/ Sa PLDT kasi bundle na ang 1k, landline and dsl. di naman ako heavy user ng internet so okay na sana yung bundle nila

We use Globe DSL sa Antipolo house namin, the box is right outside our gate kaya mabilis din ang speed. Sa Mandaluyong naman, we use PLDT, we subscribed to business ADSL para maganda service, so far, minsan lang naman mag drop out, mga once pa lang in the 2 years we;ve had it.

Yes, pldt dsl customer service is really nakaka high blood.

Sabi ba naman sakin, yung Device Manager mam, alam mo yun? in a very condescending manner. D ko nalang pinatulan.

Another one I talked to, (I was asking to transfer to another platform) sabi I cannot request for that service. It was not until I said, "So wala kang magagawa para sakin?" Tsaka lang cya nagoffer na gumawa ng report about it.

End result, pinaputol nalang namin. Kulang ba sila sa training or orientation?

^ yung tech guy that we hired to set up our security cam na mabait at super mild mannered na high blood din sa kanila. Na shock nga ako nung "nagtaray" sya. Hehe.
Sabi nya - siguro naman boss marunong ako mag basa maski paano!
He was on the phone with pldt cs and was asked to read the brand and model of the Modem. So binasa nya kung ano naka print sa unit mismo.
Sure ba daw sya sa brand kasi di daw pldt issued yung modem namin. Nyek! We have box and the resibo from pldt mismo.
In the end, Eng-eng yung cs, mismong brand ng modem nila eh di alam.

Ewan ko saan pinulot ng pldt nga tao nila. Even their technician who first came to the house to setup the modem was eng-eng. inabot ng almost 1 hr kasi di sya maka connect. Eh paano naman case-sensitive ang password. Kundi pa ako mismo nag enter ng pw eh ewan ko na. Pldt sent me a messenger ata not a technician.

I am a new subscriber of Globe dsl and and very satisfied right now with the service except for one. Hindi nilinaw nung account officer sa akin before na on top of the 1k na installation fee ng bundle, may P500 pa na installation for the wireless router. So that means total of 1500 na installation. Unang punta kasi sa akin ng technician, ang dinalang modem router is yung one port na may kable na ikakabit mo sa pc/netbook directly yung cable. Nung tumawag ako, ganun daw [textspeak!] ang iniissue for residential area and need pa ng additional P500 installation fee for the wireless one, yung may antennae, for wifi signal. Other than that, okay naman service ng Globe DSL. Okay ang speed, kahit nasa baba yung router and nasa 2nd floor yung room natin and magkabilang side pa sila ng router, mabilis pa rin connection ko. Nakakapag youtube ako ng maayos. Saka mabilis ang action nila. 2 days after ako makapag online application, nagpunta na sa bahay to install eh. Ang PLDT December pa ko nag apply, hanggang ngayon wala pa din. Ang last feedback nila sa akin ng January chinecheck pa raw ng technician nila ang cable facilities sa area. So mag 3 months na silang nagchecheck. Di ko alam bakit ganun katagal eh neighbor namin pldt dsl naman. Pero blessing na din di ako natuloy sa PLDT, baka mastress lang ako.

^ i agree. i'm from bulacan. ok ang globe dsl and wireless connection. mabilis saka hindi madalas napuputol pwera na lang kapag may maintenance sila sa area.

Depende talaga sa Lugar.. I'm from Las Pinas, Globe subscriber ako before, pero sobrang crappy talaga nung connection. Nag switch ako sa myBro, so far maganda naman Unlike ng Globe yung youtube video every 10 sec nag ba-buffer, sa myBro (Smart) smooth talaga.

I am in Sucat and Smartbro's connection sucks.  It is by far the worst internet provider for me.  Nagreklamo nanaman ako sa NTC.  Now, I am waiting for the end of my contract on May to have it cut.  I can't wait!

new pldt mydsl customer dis-service rant!

it has been 5 days na that we dont have internet. pldt said they'll send a technician over on tuesday after lunch. fine, my brother skipped work so he can be home to let the technician in.

lumubog na araw, no sign of any pldt.  kayo na nag-set ng date and time, kayo pa sisira sa usapan!

instead, you came the next day and without prior notice. kaya ayun, the maid didnt let you in.

now we have to sked again your visit that im 100% you wont be able to keep.

^^ in terms of cs walang kwenta talaga ang pldt, parang utang loob mo pa pag na entertain ka nila. Sayang lang dito sa place namin walang globe, i've been using globe dsl way before for more than 10 years and was satisfied with their cs.
