Just sharing:
I submitted my application with documents for visit visa last December 14, 2016 and I got my passport with visa December 16, 2016.  I availed the Priority Visa Service for P9,450.  Ang bilis pero masakit lang sa bulsa

sissies, what do i need para doon sa requirements na evidence of family members remaining in the country while you travel? i will be traveling with husband and my eldest (3yo). my bunso will be left here sa ph (1yo).

^Family members remaining in the country?  Meaning here sa PH?  Birth certificate siguro will do.  This will show that you're the mother of the child na maiiwan here.

^^IMO, same lang sila.  The number of documents needed will depend on how you can prove na babalik ka ng PH.  It could be konti or madami, as long as your ties here in the PH is strong and complete yung requirements submitted, I think wala naman magiging problem (though the approval will still depend sa mood ng consul).

In my case, I included all the contracts of the suppliers we booked for our wedding (though ako lang yung pumunta ng UK) at madami din yun.

Kasi when I checked online, parang ang dami need na requirements to apply for a UK Visa, although not sure if tama yung nakkita ko. May link ka ba or can you enumerate ano docs na need i-present? Yung sa US kasi di ba, dadalhin mo lang in case maghanap yung consul, pero yung sa UK parang need talaga ibigay. Not sure though. Thanks!

^Depende if ano reason for the trip.  With me kasi, I need to attend my sister's wedding.  The first trip ko naman last 2010, I need to accompany my nephew to the UK (her son).

Here are the documents I submitted last Dec 2016 for my sister's wedding:
1. Invitation letter from my sister
2. Her and her now husband's employment certificates
3. Mortgage (bank certificate is also good)
4. Proof of citizenship (passport)
5. Wedding invitation
6. Church reservation
7. Her former husband's death certificate and I think pati marriage certificate nila sinama ko (kasi we need to show why iba surname niya sa surname ko; since no interview ito, you cannot explain it to the consul so I provided papers to show why)
8. Tax Returns
9. My parents' sponsorship letter
10. My parents' bank certificates
11. My birth certificate (to prove na daughter nila ako)
12. My PRC ID (to support my declaration sa application that I'm a licensed Interior Designer)
13. My old and new passports (stamps, expired and active visas)
14. Assets under my name
15. Bank Certificates
16. Wedding contracts and deposit slips (downpayments) for booked suppliers (church, venue, caterer, etc.; lahat sinama ko so ang kapal ng pinasa ko, hehe!)

Madami siya kasi I chose what documents to submit.  Hindi naman lahat yan nakalagay sa list but the goal was to prove na babalik ako, establish my connection with the ones sponsoring me, establish the capacity of my sponsors to pay for my trip and my stay and to prove that I also have my own money to support myself while I'm there.  So the documents talaga will depende sa purpose ng trip.

Sa US naman, I think halos same lang sinubmit namin (except the wedding documents) since same naman ang goal: prove na babalik kami, establish our connection with the ones sponsoring us (my sister and her family), establish the capacity of our sponsors and to prove that we also have our own money to support ourselves while we're there.

Whoah ang dami! hehe. Purpose ko lang is to travel. Hahaha. AKo mag fi-finance ng trip ko. Tapos kapag online mag-apply, paano yun ipapasa? Scanned copies?

^haha! Dami ba? Segurista kasi ako kaya I submitted lahat ng sa tingin ko kelangan nila.  Hindi ako familiar sa online application for UK (ang alam ko lang Canada) kasi I brought all my documents both original and photocopies (2 sets dapat lahat) sa VFS in Makati.  Yung originals lang yung bumalik, photocopies hindi na.

Sa Canada kasi one file lang pwde attach per category.  So let's say passport, di ba madami tayo passports (old and new) tapos kelangan mo show yung stamps and expired and current visas?  You will scan those, save it as JPEG then paste/attach everything sa Word then save the file as PDF para one file lang siya then andun na lahat.

So dapat yung JPEG files mo maliit lang ang size kasi pagsasama-samahin mo pa sila so lalaki pa yung Word file kaya dapat i-save yung photos as low resolution (pero readable pa din).  May limit kasi yung file na pwde i-attach kaya dapat hindi siya lumampas sa limit ng file size.  Again, this is for Canada visa application, baka halos same lang siguro for UK.  Hindi kasi ako aware na may online application pala UK kaya nagpunta pa ko sa Makati.

If travelling alone and for pleasure only, I guess submit mo na lang yung IT mo, assets (if any), savings, employment certificate, if freelance contracts ng on-going and future projects, ITR, basta lahat ng connections mo here sa PH and yung mga previous trips mo (passports).  Depende din kasi sa background ng person yung documents na isu-submit.

sissies do i need to have affidavit of support if si husband mag sponsor sakin? we will be traveling as a family and si husband sagot sa mga gagastusin. nakita ko kasi sa list of requirements na binigay sakin ng agency kasama yun affidavit. TIA!

^for visit visa?  If yes, the ones who sponsored my trip only gave an invitation letter (the one based in UK) and a sponsorship letter (the one based here in PH) then I attached financial documents from both parties to prove their capacity to sponsor me. Letters and documents were not notarized either.

Hi mga sis! I've only been to Hong Kong, Macau, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Hubby has a company-sponsored trip for training in Scotland, UK starting July to September. Plano ko sana visit siya bandang August. Mag-stay lang ako with him sa company-provided hotel. Problem ko is wala akong copy ng hotel booking na yun which is one of the requirement sa visa. Also, need ko na ba mapurchase ng airline tickets? Medyo natatakot ako kasi ang mahal ng tickets tapos hindi ako sure if ma-approve yung visa ko

^Never purchase tickets without a visa.  Pwde mo gawin but hindi siya requirement.  Wala ba booking document husband mo sa hotel or any document from the company of your husband about the hotel booking?

If wala talaga, you can submit the documents connected to your husband's company-sponsored training to prove na siya ang pupuntahan mo sa UK at talagang may training siya doon.  Isama mo na din marriage contract ninyo to prove na husband mo talaga siya and not just a boyfriend.  Pwde ka din mag-sama ng invitation letter from you husband inviting you to come to UK for a number of days/weeks while he is on a sponsored training.  Also, submit mo din employment certificate ng husband mo to prove na connected talaga siya sa company na yun.

Isip na lang kayo ng magandang reason (and yung logical and realistic ha) why ka pupunta ng UK.  If your main reason is for pleasure, then say it sa letter.  Kelangan honest ka.  Always put yourself sa shoes ng embassy, if you were them, bibigyan mo ba ng visa yung tao if ganito ang reason?

Don't forget the supporting documents proving na babalik ka dito.

Hi mga sis! After 12th business day, I received this e-mail na:

"The processed visa application for GWF reference number -  was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 6/23/2017 .

If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times."

I'll be collecting my passport on Tuesday next week. Sobrang nakaka-tense.

I'm glad may forum about uk visa. tanong ko lang if anyone here applied for a family visa/spouse visa? my hubby is working as a nurse in UK. kakakasal lang namin but i have my marriage certificate already. naka apply ndn change of name ko for my passport. confused lang kami sa requirements. medyo confusing kasi guidelines nila.. hope someone can help thanks mga sis 😊

Mga sis tingin niyo ba maaapprove kami ni hubby ng tourist visa?

1. Wala kami hotel, magssend lang friend ko ng invitation letter na dun kami magsstay sa house nila for 5days
2. We have bpi accounts, how much po kay ang dapat ng laman ng account namin para mataas ang chance maapprove?
3. Nakapag travel na ako sa sg and hk, while hubby sa hk palang
4. Other than uk visa kuha rin kami visa for paris

hi mga sis.. im planning to apply for visa na this november .. my aunt invited me to visit her to UK. do you think ok na kaya if i already have the following:

1. sponsorship letter from relative in UK
2. bank account with roughtly 500k savings
3. certificate of employment
4.employment letter stating that i will be on leave of absence for a certain month

There's a question in the application form, "Do you have savings, properties or other income, for example from stocks and shares?" If you answer yes, there?s a box below where you can add details like "Please Enter Details Total Monthly Income From Amount in GBP(?)" so if for example I have an investment account and retirement savings plan, how are you supposed to get the monthly income? Am I supposed to divide my savings and investment amount accumulated by 12 months? TIA!

Not sure if w'ere gonna reserve in airlines, just to have a plane ticket.

Did anyone here reserve a round trip ticket? Will you need to pay some fee?

What do you usually bring/put in PURPOSE OF APPLICATION and ACCOMMODATION sections?
