Hi. Before I enter my sensitive personal details, tatanong ko lang kung eto ba talaga(link above) ang tamang registration page? Can I register first and then apply later on, say a month or two from now?  Thanks

mrs. sweet yes I think tinanong din ang hotel. hotel, plane fare including trains etc then total cost.

Mrs. Sweet General naman yun question nila as to how much you will be spending for the trip, i specify mo na lang, like local transport, food, hotel, etc... Bago na kasi yun form nila.

Kristalle, it is only valid up to a certain period, not sure kung 30 days.

hi! i'm planning on getting a UK tourist visa. i will be funding my own trip but i will be staying with family sa UK. by the time mag-aapply ako my stats would be

23 Female, single
Self employed professional, ITR reflects 45k income/month, actual income is ~100k/month
700k in passbook savings
previously traveled to SG and HK only
going to live with my tita's family while im there, they are permanent residents
1 week visit

what kind of visa should i apply for? general visitor or family visitor? and do i have a good chance?

^According to UK website, if you apply as family visitor, you must be able to show that you’re visiting one of the following family members in the UK:

spouse or civil partner
children
parents or siblings
grandparents or grandchildren
your spouse’s or civil partner’s siblings or parents
your child’s spouse or civil partner
step parents, step children or step siblings
a person you’ve been living with in a long-term relationship, as if you were married or in a civil partnership, for at least 2 years before the day you apply

You do not fit in there, so General Visitor ka sis.

^ pero dun kasi sa application for general visitor, there are three questions na if yes ang answer mo, that means you have to apply for a different visa. nag-yes ako sa "will be staying or living with family members" -- so should i not consider my titas/titos and cousins as family for this application?

^Sis pakicheck na lang on their website and their guidelines for filling up their forms. Alam ko kasi iba ang definition nila ng family member (as per their immig rules), hindi yata kasali doon ang tita and cousins.  It is limited to those listed above.

dulcette You could send an inquiry on the link below. It says they will reply within 3 days, my first two questions, they replied within two days, but for my third one, hindi na nagreply! and today is the third working day.  Anyway, they might be able to help.

Dulcette, we stayed with my husband's aunt in the UK and we only applied as general visitors. I made hotel reservations (very easy to cancel) as part of their requirements. It was easier that way I think. Also less hassle for my husband's aunt, as she didn't have to provide documents like birth certificates, or letters or invitation, or other things that are usually required if you say you're staying with family. Approved, 6 months multiple entry.

I think you have a good chance naman, giving your financial standing, so you can just apply as general visitor.

my visa (valid until December 2014) is under my maiden name but renewing my passport soon and will change to my married name.

Anybody here tried the Premium Lounge appointment type? When should the extra payment for this service be collected? I availed of this service kasi, kaso when I made my payment na, $142 lang din naman ang charge sa akin. Wala yung extra for this service.
