^ sis condolence po. As i recall, one of the questions naman sa visa about your immediate family is: where are they now? If your parents get approved pwede na siguro sila nalang muna dun when they get home saka ka apply visa. Kasi tourist visa ka papatak pero ang class mo is family visitor lalabas tama ba? you need supporting documents regarding sa status ng sister mo. Sa parents mo naman i have heard that british empathizes well naman, just explain the death of your brother in law. Mahihirapan lang kayo if your sister cant provide documents like savings account ng late husband niya.

Question mga sis,if I'm already an EU resident but still holding a Filipino passport shall I still get a separate UK visa so I can visit to London? Thanks sa sasagot.

^according to the UK Border Agency, you will still need a visa to enter the UK.

hi mga sis, share ko lang experience ko sa UK embassy last friday. I had a scheduled appointment for 9:15am, i got there by 8am, i was given a number sa guard, no. 10 2nd batch, ever batch is 100. So when i got there, they were still calling the 1st batch. I was called sa enquiry desk para ma-check muna yung documents ko if they were complete. They gave me a form to complete pa, the first page of the form had 3 boxes, the 1st was to indicate all relatives living in the UK, the 2nd all relatives in the philippines and the 3rd box was for the relatives living abroad. Sabi ng checker, it's better pag na fill out as many spaces as possible. Then i was called na to pass sa officer who will collect the requirements, i was given the option to have the visas couriered to me or i can pick it up when it's ready. I opted to have it couriered para less hassle, P440 yung charge with sms updates. Then i waited until i was called to have a picture and fingerprints taken then that was it na. Now i have to wait na lang kung approved or not yung visa ko. Reminder lang mga sis, have a manager's check ready for the visa payment, they won't accept cash payments. Hope this helped with information for you mga sis. I'll update ulit here if approved or not yung visa ko.

Share ko lang din. Nag apply ako last Thursday kasi my business trip ako sa uk. Almost parehas lang naman ang mga requirements whatever your purpose sa uk, may mga additional Lang specific. I pay additional 2000 kasi I availed the premium service. Recommended ko po na mag premium kayo kasi less hassle.

Hi mga sis! My mom and I wanted to travel to London to visit my sister.  My sister is working and studying there. My uncle and his family are already resident citizens.  When's the best time to go there?  Yung hindi masyadong malamig. ALthough based on sis parang summer ata ngayon or patapos na.  I am working in an audit firm which means I do not have a lot of savings. hehe  Mahirap ba magapply? How many weeks kaya para masulit ang trip?  Do I need to show them my bank accounts? I have been travelling to Asian countries every year since 2007. Puro leisure trips lang naman and been to Africa as well.  Do you think I have a chance to be given a visa?  May interview pa ba yon?  Thanks. and kung meron kayong advice as to how much yung pocket money na rin.. my mom is a resident na in London. i am planning to visit her, matagal na.

our plan before is to get a student visa. masyadong magastos.

now plan B, when i go to US, dun ako mag aaply ng UK visa. kahit visitor lang. magkano ba usually dapat laman ng bank account mo?
kasi for me ako [textspeak!] magpay ng ticket ko. then i'll stay sa place ng mom ko.

Mga sis! How about getting a SVV or Temporary Student Visa? Any experiences? I'm planning to take a 1-week make-up course kasi there April of next year pero i'm a little hesitant dahil sa visa.

2 weeks ang short course ko then 2 weeks vacation :-)

1M pesos yung show money ko para sure na.
Very important yung letter of enrollment and housing.
The usual documents plus lodging, letter of enrollment, proof of funds. Lenient naman daw sila wag lang full time student. Then after 3-4 days, makukuha mo na yung visa.

^yes if they get their visas sila muna dun and iwan ako then before ma-expire tourist visa nila ako naman maga-apply. yes lahat kami tourist visa lang so 6-months lang talaga makukuha namen. not advisable daw mag-apply ng 1-year or 2-years stay kasi usually daw, even if you pay for the 1-year or 2-years visa, 6 months pa din binibigay.

no problem with my sister's documents regarding status, PR na siya and this november scheduled na siya and nephew ko for citizenship. problem lang yung funds. nagbayad pa kasi sila ng hospital bills, tapos transportation pa nung body from hostpital to oxford (which is 3 or 4 hours away) and yung cremation bills pa. may pending loans pa sila tapos rent pa sa house and everyday expenses so for sure onti na lang natira sa savings niya. dun ako worried, baka hindi kame mabigyan dahil hindi enough funds niya although sagot naman ni dad lahat ng expenses namen (airfare, allowance, etc.) hindi ko lang alam if enough yun. from what i read kasi, the one living in UK should prove that he/she can accommodate the expenses and lodging of the applicant.

Based on experience, wag niyong ilalagay na magaalaga ka ng nephew mo kasi baka isipin
ng consul na you're making excuses lang to come here.  Dahil maraming playcare centre and daycare
centre dito sa UK so ang thinking nila is dapat ilagay yung nephew mo sa daycare or after school care.
If PR na yung sis mo may mga benefits siya I think, so baka iweigh din ng consul yun.  Kasi
based dito sa pinoy friend ko nadeny yung mum nya dahil nilagay nila sa letter na magaalaga ng bata
eh sabi ng consul, eh may daycare naman bakit pa pupunta dito ang nanay mo. :S

Pag po ba Philippines passport holder then  may stopover leass than 24 hours sa London then onward flight ay Canada, kelangan pa ba ng Transit Visa?

Yup. Gawa ka ng Letter na supported ka ng parents mo financially, then mas ok na rin pag may letter sa bank na inauauthorize ang use of that money sa name mo. ;-)

When i was leaving here sa pi, the immig asked pa for a letter of enrollment from the school. But in LDN, they asked questions lang but did not ask for any letters.
