I already got a female yorkie 5 months old. She's been with me for 5 days and now so far so good i can say she is already adjusted with us. Im giving her NutriPlus 3x a day per vet's order coz she is quite payat daw maybe bec the breeder was giving her beef pro lang now im switching her to Royal Canin for puppies yorkie and im mixing it with her beef pro para di daw di lumambot yun poops.. Im also giving her L-C vit din 1x a day..So far ok naman results ok yun poops nya di malambot. Kaso gosh super hyper sya all she wants to do is run and chase my 1 and 6 month old tzu na feeling ko nakukulitan na yun tzu ko sa kanya.. Now i have noticed too na di na rin sya masyado nag shake everytime i carry her compared few days i got her.. Her vaccine is updated and just last saturday i brought her to PET EXpress cubao branch kase frre yun rabies vaccine nya..Then next week yun last 5- 1 nya and deworming. I intend to give her spot on front line like my tzy para free from flee sila.. Hope other yorkie owners there can share stories bout their pet yorkie too.. Parang sobrang fragile kase nila too small and too hyper...

need advice... We have a yorkie. Normal ba talaga sakanila na manghuli ng daga or maliliit na daga? Minsan bigla na lang nya kagat [textspeak!] daga tapos ibababa nya patay na yung nahuli nya. Di kaya bad for our pet yung nakagat nya ang daga? :/

^terriers were bred as vermin chasers during the early times, ganun ang silbi nila and until now, nasa dugo pa rin nila ang magchase.  "Any dog can be a "rat dog," but the terrier breeds have an especially long-established history as vermin chasers, catchers and killers." so wag kayo magtaka kung aliw na aliw sila rats 

Hmmm, madumi ang mga daga satin kaya masama sa kanila yan, make sure na complete ang vaccines nya and train him to stop chasing lol kung kaya. Always keep an eye on him, secure him in a cage pag wala kayo.

^thanks sis. We'll bring him na sa vet for checkup soon. Btw, ang yorkies ba talaga less kulit unlike shihtzu? Super introvert kasi ng pet namin... And medyo mahina rin kumain especially if dog food kailangan susubuan pa talaga.. 4y/o na kasi sya binigay lang samin last year. Could it be sa age? Checking na rin kami saan vet namin sya pwede ilipat kasi yung vet malapit samin madalas di nagrereply or unavailable. Sana mapa-annual check up sya kung may ganun man for dogs.

^ang alam ko playful din ang yorkies, but every dog has his own personality, so baka sadyang ganyan lang sya. my shih tzu naman is very calm, di sya mahilig maglaro, lagi lang tulog pero very alert. give ka vitamins, small breeds kasi are very picky with food. Try Raffavit or Papi vitamins, sila yung nagpagana sa shih tzu ko, hindi rin sya palakain noon, kahit homecooked meals inaayawan. San area mo sis?

^thanks sis. QC area kami. Parang ang nearest na murang bilihan ng pet supplies na alam ko yung sa may broadway. Bilhan ko na sya soon ng vitamins. At mapacheck up rin sa weekend para lang sure na walang bad effect yung pagkakahuli nya sa daga.

i use shampoo/conditioner from wishbone. parang Php1800 yata ang one gallon.got it from hobbes and landes in boni high street. super ok and tumatagal yung smell ng doggiesko.

organic sya sis? yung 6mos old ko nag dry skin.. hindi ko alam kung sa silk creation or dun sa binili ko na organic soap na my lemon.. how about sa food nya ? dog food lang or raw diet na?

i don't think it's organic pero so far ok naman yung skin nila.will be bringing them to wishbone on wednesday for their grooming. hmm ang lemon may acid baka yun yung cause?

how old na is your baby?. switch na ko sa playpets oatmeal mukhang dito na ako mag stick super picky eater sila ..kahapon hinalo ko yung spam sa dog food ang konti kasi nya kumain parang nag sasawa na sa dog food lang. ayun dami nakain,..minsan naman konti lang talaga [textspeak!] kinakain nya.

What do you mean hindi ng heat? baka cause nang pag ka overweight nya yan sis..yung sakin parang hindi naman tumataba pero malakas kumain.hehe.exercise din kasi sya everyday

yes sis normal lang na nagsneeze baka na allergy sya sa environment (dust, perfume, o baka sa bed nya).
yung bigay sakin ng vet ko is immunol and nutrigel lagay din ako ATC fish oil sa food nya .. now he is 10mos raffavit na gamit ko instead of nutrigel..ceelin ? dba for kids un??

My yorkie 10 mos. na and nung pina-check namin siya sa vet because napansin namin parang sinisipon, nakita ng vet na hindi pala natanggal yung mga milk teeth niya, so ngayon my 2 sets siya ng teeth. We tried giving her bone to chew on para matanggal yung milk teeth. Kaya lang worried ako if baka masakit for her yung my 2 sets ng teeth. Ang advice lang naman ng vet was to give her something na kakagatin. Meron din ba sa inyo naka-experience nito? TIA!
