super happy cw opted to renew this series for season 3 (though i was sad to see ringer go)

I really like Owen too, but I don't think they will make him a series regular because the creator said that his scenes are all the more effective and amazing because we only get to see him once in a while...Also, Noah Bean (Ryan) has been made a series regular this upcoming season 3.

I'm definitely going to miss Percy. I think he's a better villain than Amanda, but his storyline has run its course. I don't know how I feel yet about the new group Percy was trying to join...I guess we'll see.

@sis_gigles_ read somewhere na devon sawa won't be appearing in any new nikita episodes, don't know if this is just for season 2 though. sana he'll return kahit di na regular, kahit pasulpot sulpot lang ok na

i've been wondering about percy's backstory medyo nabanggit lang kasi sa last few episodes akala ko ieexplore nila sa season 3. sayang nga he was a very effective villain
kahit parang medyo stereotypical megalomaniac (hehe this is why i wanted to know his story) lang yung character niya in the end.

^sis, Devon Sawa did say that he won't be appearing on Nikita anymore...that was for the rest of season 2. I've read somewhere that they will definitely bring him back if they get renewed (but still as a guest star more likely).

According to his own twitter, Devon Sawa won't be returning to Nikita!

He wrote:

'Ah man!! What a bummer… doesn't look like I will be returning as Owen on the show Nikita. Best of luck to 'em. '

He played Owen Elliot, an operative who was basically a hit man working for the bad guys who turned good.

And don't worry about Devon!

He's keeping himself busy.

He later tweeted:

'… I did however join a barbershop quartet music group. So stay tuned for that!! '

That should be inneresting!

Also, he holds no hard feelings, tweeting about the show:

'Watch NIKITA tonight at 8, CW. The shows one of the best on the television right now. With out a doubt'

I read that tweet too, but from what I understood, it was applicable for the second season as many people were expecting Owen to be back for the last few episodes or on the finale.

Here is a snippet from Maggie Q's interview:

When it comes to The CW action series Nikita, star Margaret Quigley – better known to her fans as Maggie Q — is adamant about two things: The Season 2 finale is going to change Nikita’s mission in unimaginable ways, and Nikita’s ally Owen (played by Devon Sawa) must come back for the third season.

“There’s no way in Season 3 Nikita’s not going to seek Owen out to join her,” she told a group of reporters before the network announced the show’s renewal. “She’s going to have to. Some big changes are going to be made at the end of Season 2, so she’s going to need all the help she can get.”
