Mailanie De Cadiz, super bait, hindi siya mukhang pera. siya ang nag aalaga sa akin ngayon. alam niya ang step by step ng infertility work up. magaling mag-explain. sa follicle monitoring ko nga, no need na pumunta pa ako sa kanya para lang ipakita ang result ng TVS ko. Siya na mismo ang mag-hahanap sa online result. sa st.lukes kasi yung mga result ay makikita sa online site nila. so wala na akong babayaran na consultation, itetext niya na lang ako kung ano ang next na gagawin ko. i love her! hehe! sana mapreggy na ako... 1st cycle ko pa lang naman.. pero hoping na sana ETO na.

I highly recommend my OB - Dra. Eileen Manalo.  I've been with her for 8 months now and she holds clinics in Asian, PGH, MMC and St. Lukes Global City.  Though hindi pako nag po-positive sa kanya, I am confident/trust her because she answers my questions intelligently and she's very well experienced. She's not the malambing type but she's like a mommy/teacher na papagalitan ka and straight to the point. I really like her approach and magaan ang loob ko sa kanya.

For eight months now, nakita ko ang progress kahit hindi pa ko nag po-positive sa kanya.  Just like what she always tells me - "the most important thing is we know what's wrong and we're doing something about it."  I was diagnosed initially with PCOS, done with HSG for the tubes, hysteroscopy for the polyps, had 1 failed IUI with her, and a possible laparoscopy next month due to a cyst/possible endometriosis.  Yup, it's true na magastos under her and mahirap pumila.  But I feel that it's all worth it.  More than having a baby, alam ko na nakikita nya lahat ng kailangan makita, nalilinis nya ko and naaalagaan nya ko.  Plus the fact na may sarili siyang ultrasound sa clinics nya so she could really closely monitor me - as in I have the print outs and I can see the developments each month.  Since marami cya expertise (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, infertility, robotics surgery), hindi na rin ako palipat lipat ng OB kc she can do everything na.  Very important yun sa work up kc mahalaga na alam ng OB ang history. As an infertility doctor, she would also do everything to save your ovary/tubes or whatever could affect conception - I knew people under her including my own sister, and they could attest to that.  To top it all, maganda daw cya tumahi.

May nabasa kong negative testimony once against Dra, but I'm confident na OBs are just there to assist us since they were trained to do that.  We should also be responsible for our own health, do our own research and ask questions as much as we could for our own good.

hi mga sis i hope u guys can help me... i had an ectopic pregnancy last year and my right fallopian tube is now gone however my right ovary is the dominant one for 6 cycle of clomid no luck at my left ovary always my right and even we will take a change at my right ovary but my left fallopian tube can't catch egg thats coming from the right ovary...

mga sis pls give your recommendation as much as possible i dont want to do ivf.....

Ok lang sa kin ang masungit, hindi machika, strict, judgmental, etc. Pero gusto ko magaling and hindi mukhang pera. Feedback please.

I know si Dr. Chiaoling Sua-Lao magaling, pero expensive sya eh.

I can vouch Doc Angge is not mukhang pera. Super practical that's why hubby & I love her. She's the cheapest among the 8th Obs I've been to (since 1999 and around the Philippines na po ako nagpakonsulta para lang magkababy). We would have wanted to give birth in St. Lukes Global but she advised us to choose PGH, nearer my place, less stressful sa biyahe, and cheaper (pangbinyag nalang daw yung extra money). Siya pa nga nagsabi na kayanin ko magnormal delivery despite my congenital heart problem, kaso on my 40th week, di bumaba si baby and closed pa rin cervix ko so she suggested na CS na. Good thing din we're ready for CS kasi sa laki ni baby, sabi ni Doc mahirap siyang i-normal delivery. We're really happy with her.

Kaso lang she suggested me to consult immunologist and dito dudugo ata ang bulsa namin. Hehe. Pero ok lang basta alam namin na magiging safe na si baby at ako. Dati sis pinagiisipan ko kung sa kanya ako kasi nga yun hospital niya yun mga five star, but a friend of mine told me na meron siya sa pgh. Sis ok ba labor sa pgh? Kumpleto naman ba sila sa facilities at lab pag dun ka nanganak? Kasi paranv natrauma ako last time na nagpablood test ako. Need pumila ng mahaba sa cashier, bumalik balik sa lab dahil hindi avail yun gamit. Hehe

Ok naman sis, we spent approximately 70K. May 11k refund pa sa Philhealth. Mahal lang yung room na nakuha namin kasi yun nalang ang available, pangit pa ng CR, lumang unit kasi yun. Next to suite room ata yun, kaya malaki ang deposit sa room. Next time if magkababy ulit, gusto ko sa ibang hospital naman para makapagcompare ako, still with Doc Angge. Siya pa rin preferred ko na OB. I feel safe under her care.

minonitor yung pag-ovulate ko, nag-oovulate naman ako kaso minsan maliit yung eggs or konti.  kaya i took clomid.  chineck din yung tubes ko kung blocked but clear naman. si hubby naman pasang awa din yung sperm count nya, kumbaga hindi naman kulang, yun nga lang nasa minimum sya... kaya binigyan din sya ng vitamins... then nung okay naman na lahat, our OB asked us if gusto namin magpa-IUI kasi 3 months na kami nagpap-work-up at hindi pa din nakakabuo. sabi nya din if talagang gusto na namin, madaliin na daw namin kaya ayun, nagpa-IUI na kami... ayun, 1 try lang nabuo na... siguro kasi wala naman na problem samin...

Hi there! I'm just new here. Would like to ask if anyone of you tried Dr. Maria Jesusa Banal-Silao. She's been my OB for 1yr. Done lot's of test. I have endometriosis and PCOs also. At first, she told me to undergo HSG to check kung blockage ang fallopian tube ko PRAISE GOD kase normal naman, after that she suggested na mag luprolex shots ako for 5months (para siyang early menauposal) for 6months hindi ako nagka menstruation. Para ma-supresed daw yung endometriosis ko and other cyst because of PCOs.
After that pinag try nya ako ng Diane 35 para mens na ako. then pinag try nya ako ng clomid 30mg 2 times a day with meformin 850 humamet and follic acid. for 2 cycles hindi ako nag-response sa fertility meds na yun. Kaya pinag-FSG nya ako to check kung gaano na katanda ang hormones ko. Then on my 3rd try dinagdagan nya dossage ko from 2 times to 3 times a day. Pero hindi pa rin ako nag-o-ovulate sa fertility meds kaya ipianahabol nya na mag Puregeon ako for 7 days nag se-self injection ako para mangitlog. After 3 days nag TVS ako, this time nagresponse ako I got 3 eggs na pwede nang paputukin kaya nag pregnyl shot ako. In preparation for my IUI, after 34hours nag-IUI ako. Pero after 16 days dinatnan pa rin ako.
So I consulted her again. Sabi nya mag try ulit kami ngayong Nov 2013 na cycle. But, refused this time. She told me na pwede kami mag try ng IUI hanggang 3 bese pero pag hindi pa rin need ko ng magpa-laparoscopy which is 180to 200K daw sa kanya. Kaya sabi ko rest muna from medicine ako.
Guys need your help kung may alam kayo na OB na fertility expert na hindi mahal magpa-bayad, at hindi pera ang habol sa pasyente.

Hello. TTC since May 2012. My current dr now is Dr Joan Tan-Garcia. She is super different from my first OB.

Actually, sobrang sad what happened with us with our first OB. We were with her for a year and nothing happened. We also underwent 2 failed IUIs with her. Dun namin nafeel na she's really not for us. And minsan may feeling na parang pera lang. Kasi pag pasok mo plang sa office niya, she would do the tvs right away. Sabi pa niya normal kame both. She never gave me any medication whatsoever to control my PCOS. kahit vitamins wala. As in follicle monitoring and the usual clomid-duphaston etc. Hystero was normal naman, patent tubes.

When we went to Dr Joan Tan, we found out that my husband has poor morphology. So kahit daw mag IUI, it won't work or might result to miscarriage. My PCOS daw has to be managed kasi I have more than 30 cysts total (for both). Madami daw masyado.

Nakakalungkot talaga when we found out kasi all the while, we were thinking we were both fine. Sobrang nagalit si hubby with our previous OB. Take note, infertility specialist siya and was even "trained abroad". Madaming patients naghihintay, e pano 4pm start ng clinic pero 5-5:30 ang dating niya. Nagiipon ng patients. And she doesn't talk to us. She doesn't even have a plan of action. Ikaw pa tatanungin kung  ano gusto namin. Ang labo. I won't say her name nalang but she has her own clinic in QC. Near our house lang kasi so we went to her out of convenience. She was recommended here din sa thread twice ata. I just hope others here will receive better care from her.

May nabuntis naman din siguro with her method of IUI agad. Pesonally, I wouldn't recommend her. Mabait kung sa mabait pero in the end, dapat may result naman ang treatments. At least now, we know na what the problem is.
