hello..want to ask if you have encountered dr. lani buenconsejo of makati med and patient first clinic. what are your ob-gyn experiences with her? am considering her to be my ob for my work up coz her location is convenient within makati. thanks!

She was my OB-Gyne when i gave birth last 2009. She's ok naman. Medyo mahal lang yung mga hospitals na accredited siya. Last 2009 pwede pa siya sa Manila Doctors and mahal din plaa manganak dun. I'm not sure lang kung pwede parin siya sa Madocs. I'll be seeing her tomorrow at Patients First kasi magpapa pap smear ako.

hi sis, at first medyo hesistant talaga ako kasi mukang dalaga pa nga ata si dra, pero expert naman siya. this saturday punta ako for follow up check up, candidate for lap kasi ako due to endometriosis. goodluck and godbless sa atin sis, hopefully magkababy na tayo.

Sa Asian Hospital sa Muntinlupa sana. And if possible yung accredited ng Maxicare.
I have this Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and was advise to undergo Diagnostic Hysteroscopy to check.

Hi mga sis, share ko lang. OB ko si Dra. Antonia Habana from PGH/Medical City, she's a reproductive endocrinologist/infertility. She took care of me kaya ngayon I'm pregnant na. I had endometriosis, PCOS, and retroverted uterus, pero sa pag-aalaga ni dra nakabuo na kami, and it didn't take that long.

I had an ectopic pregnancy last january 2013, my OB says there's a chance na maging ectopic uli,
can you suggest any OB Gyne na magaling para maiwasan ang ectopic preg?

i went to Dr. Koa-Malaya 2x before and thinking of going back to her. i guess she is more experienced than my current OB. mas mahal nga lang fee nya kaya i swtiched OB. pero baka balik ako sa kanya for my work up early next year. she does ivf too.

bata pa naman si Dra. Casanova sis..pero ramdam mo talaga yung concern niya. makaka build kayo ng friendship. parang nasanay na nga ako na twice a month nakikita ko siya..nalungkot talaga ako kase hindi na ako magpupunta sa kanya unless mabuntis agad ako.. hehe.. wag naman sana.

pina stop lahat ni Dra. yung mga meds na pinainom sa akin ng mga dati ko OB, like ng metformin,etc. try daw muna ng natural..ayun nga pang 2nd month pa lang nag positive na ako.. maybe right time lang lahat..pati ang pag meet namin ni Dra. Casanova. she really took care of me and my baby..kaya super love ko hehe. alam niya rin itong femalenetwork.

Created an account just to recommend Dr. Conception Ilao-Oreta.
She's head of the ARCU (infertility division) of St Lukes E.Rod and was referred by a friend to me when we were having problems conceiving.

Short History
> TTC by ourselves : FAILED

> Went to OB#1 : Hindi kami hiyang sakanya. Long lines, forgetful, and doesn't explain anything. She also said that there was nothing wrong with me even though I insisted to be tested for PCOS kasi my cousin also had PCOS. Sabi niya regular naman ako so impossible daw na PCOS. She even blamed hubby's sperm count, mababa daw so she gave supplements (that we can only buy from her clinic) to hubby. : FAILED after around 6 months on-off trying (lagi din kasi siya wala sa clinic so minsan na-cacancel yung cycle ko dahil wala siya para mag check-up at reseta)

> After around 1 year of failure, my friend recommended Dra. Ilao-Oreta. Sobrang galeng!

hi sis mspea congrats, wow grabe mahal din pala, partida wala pa yun laparoscopy. question lang, yun endo mo gaano kalaki? ako kasi after trying clomid, hindi pa rin nabuntis. and according to OB, option ko na daw na magpa-lap para tumaas un chance since left ovary has endo and right ovary is PCOS. pero after taking metformin naging normal na siya. i tried to ask second opinion pero lap rin yun option niya. f.y.i, nabuntis na naturally before kaso sad to say hindi siya nagtuloy.
puwede ko ba malaman kung ano ano un mga test na ginawa sayo at yun cost? kahit PM mo na lang kung bawal dito hehe..thanks sis.

Case ko kasi is ectopic prenancy ko at first pregnancy ko pa ito. Ang sabi ng OB Gyne na nag operate
sakin is on my 2nd pregnancy baka ectopic uli.
Pwede kaya ma prevent ang ectopic pregnancy?

hi sis onlytechgirl, sa pagkakaalam ko both ovaries ko may pcos. tapos endometriosis ko sa right is 2.0x0.9cm. nung month na nagconceive ako nakakita sila ng bagong endometriosis sa left ko. explain ni dra kasi yung mga fertility meds makes endo grow more. ni-research ko rin yun so aware ako even before dra told me na may chance nga na lumaki at madagdagan endo if nag-ttake ng fertility meds. yun naman gusto ko kay dra, kasi sa ibang doctors naiinis sila pag nagreresearch ka, sasabihin na sila lang ang tama. hehe

yung test ko histerogram (hindi ko na maalala magkano) sa start and many many TVS lang (mga 3 TVS per cycle at around 2k per TVS) for follicle monitoring. Chaka shempre yung mga normal na bloodworks, papsmear, urinalysis. Nag-pile up na lang yung costs kasi 6 months din namin halos ni project yun. Yung gamot medyo mahal (femara, puregon shots, pregnyl shots - total around 10-15k per cycle siguro) with metformin pa. hehe! para akong drug addict sa dami ng meds. matipid lang kami ni hubby wala kaming gastos those 6 months other than pang baby project.

sis wala akong alam sa ectopic pregnancy. di ba parang ibig sabihin may block sa tubes mo kaya hindi maka-travel si baby hanggang sa uterus? try asking your doctor kung pwedeng laparoscopy, minor surgery naman siya since maliit lang yung incision na gagawin nila sa may tiyan.

mspea - ang liit lang pala ng endo mo unlike sakin nasa 5cm na. sabi ni OB pwede pa naman daw kasi hindi naman siya lumalaki kahit i'm taking meds for a year na. pero if ever wala pa rin this cycle baka magpahinga muna ako sa meds at take barley muna while ipon para sa lap... thanks sis
