sis joan_0519, i suggest na wag papalit palit ng ob.. kasi everytime bago ob mo, back from scratch ka eh.. your third ob suggested IUI kasi naka-ilang tries na kayo ng natural method pero failed..  actually, ganyan naman talaga procedure eh.. natural method tapos next yung with aid of clomid na, then iui, then ivf.. yung clomid i think 3 cycles lang dapat na sunud-sunod kasi nakakanipis ng lining yun.. then youcan rest for half-year tapos another 3 rounds uli.. pag wala pa rin iui na.. IUI kasi less chance talaga specially like one of our sisses mentioned, morphology yung problem.. may mga kakilala ako yung husband nila nag-take ng enduranz and effective naman.. pero sila unexplained fertility kasi..

my current ob si dra. cassanova in asian hospital. 2nd cycle ko na ng clomiphine. hoping and praying na hindi na ako umabot ng 3rd cycle kasi mejo expensive ang work up. lalo na pag monitoring ng follicle kasi every after 2 days ang tvu.
she's nice naman and sasagutin niya mga tanong mo and ieexplain niya talaga results ng test mo.

anyone can reco a good OB/Sono in Cardinal Santos or St. Luke's QC or even Medical City. Prefereably with own TVU or Ultrasound machine.

I have heard of Pastorfide, Sua-Lao, Aguilar, any feedback? I'm newly married and have PCOS.

My current OB is Dr. Pastorfide.  He is considered the pioneer of ivf in the Phils.  He is very experienced I might say based on how he deals with his patient.

Dra. Sua-lao was my OB last year who performed my laparoscopy.  Infertility specialist din siya.  If you need their contacts you may pm me sis.  Bawal kasi mag post dito.

@little princess Kay dr. Aguilar ako sis. Sa pagkakaalam ko wala sya ultrasound (not doing fm) sa hospital cardinal and stlukes GC. Stlukes QC visiting dr siya. Sa friendlycare shaw and healthpoint padre faura siya nagfollicle monitoring. Ang Alam ko kasi Bawal sa doctor nagultrasound sa hospital clinic kasi sa ultrasound department ka papupuntahin (policy) you may double check it sa doctor kapag nakapamili kana sa kanila. Lahat naman ng choices mo magaling. I like Dr Aguilar because she's nice, professional and much affordable than other infertility specialist si dr. Pastorfide veteran na yan, magaling kaya naman mahal si dr sua Lao magaling din, kilala din (don't know Lang Kung steep ang price) depende na Lang Siguro sa preference mo sis. Basta ako ayoko sa masungit na doctor, gusto ko organize(may record), sumasagot sa text/call, gusto ko nageexplain sa akin at sumasagot sa Tanong ko plus mabait na secretary. Hehe hope that helps

^^Candidate for ivf na kasi ako sis and Dra. Sua-lao is not doing ivf.  She referred us to go to Taiwan but opted to do it here instead due to some reasons.  Dr. Pastorfide was referred to me by my boss, i did some research and with the aid na rin ng mga gtalkers, siya pinili namin ni husband 
So far we are very much happy ako both kay Dra. Sua-lao and Dr. Pastorfide (though haven't tried Dra. Aguilar).  Depende siguro sis kung saan ka mas hiyang. 

As to your question re ultrasound machine, both of them has sa clinic nila sa Binondo (Dra. Sua-lao) and Medical Plaza (Dr. P).

aubrey888, ah oo nga kasi one of our family friends was with dra. sua-lao and she'd recommend taiwan ivf talaga. they did it once and it wasn't successful so they didn't push through, tinanggap na nila na no kids sila. though she told me that dra. sua-lao doesn't mince her words and she can be a bit short with answers?

Dami nga ako naririnig sis medyo straight forward talaga si Dra. Sua-lao but based on my experience ok naman siya.  I can only speak  for my self ha, maybe because sa sobrang dami ng patient niya (as in dami talaga!) but then again ang experience ko sa kanya overall is ok naman and very accommodating siya.  Maybe because chinese sa hubby? I don't know...  I can only assume

tanong ko lang po if any of you are from Dubai and has some recommendation for a good fertility doctor?

i had my first IUI done last month sa Pinas sa may Center for Reproductive Medicine sa Ortigas but it failed. af just came recently. I cannot afford of going back again in Manila for a followup workup because it will cause us our jobs na. Last month i had to go on unpaid leave just to finish the treatment. ang hirap kumuha ng leave lalo na dapat nakafocus kami sa treatment.

i had a couple of OB doctors here in dubai who are both indians and I should say they are not worth the money. ang mahal mahal pa, halos doble or triple ng amount sa pinas. I would prefer pa din sana ng filipino kasi she can understand our situations better kaso I have not found a specialist here. puro mga GP lang din.

hay ang hirap ng sitwasyon namin. hindi namin alam where to go and what to do next. ayoko ng paabutin ng 7 years sana na wala kaming anak. in 4 months time we'll be celebrating 7 years of childless marriage
